    ok i need some help! i keep seeing the movie ‘Lord of the Rings’ abbreviated as LOTR. and in my search for info about ‘The Legend of the Rangers’ abbreviated the same way. does anyone know which one is correct. and what is correct for the other one?

    All I know is that LotR has been used in books and essays to abbreviate the title, The Lord of the Rings, for decades.

    I think this is JMS’s way of being funny…
