I have been asking my self over and over again, what is Stargate missing now that its on The Scifi channel. I think its the most simple of things, light. It seems to me that the shows sets are flooded with more light than they were before. To me Stargate always seemed to kind of be in the shadows.

I always remember the sets (particularly for the gate room) being much darker in the film. Darker is better (e.g. Dark Side)
