It is one week for me since Yo Way Yo, and as I feel I want to prepare to enjoy a Friday evening’s spell of science fiction grande space opera the stark reality slams home. Gone. As gone as the Last of the Brunnen G. Might as well be a tumbleweed rolling across my video screen. A big rolling tumbleweed with the wind going “whoosh woo whoosh.” I’ve been in the desert and seen that. Might as well be seeing that on my screen now.
Nothing on the horizon to promise us this much fun. There’s a space opera desert looming ahead. I must be a sad geezer remembering the good times. Like when the AI bug crawled out of Thodin’s nose and did its job, sort of. Like when seeing that Kai was made out of easy to reassemble parts, kinda like a huge Leggo made man. Or like the time they showed us how Mantrid’s drones found a way to make use of star matter. Not to mention watching the many changes of Zev-Xev over the years- for a cluster lizard she sort of makes me think of the complicated life cycle of an insect!
Oh well. One weekend of pigging out watching the Lexx dvds and videos then its back for me to shows where people in rubber masks play aliens. No Way, No!

Desert for sure. I just recently went back to work from 4pm to 11pm and I always looked forward to getting home and watching the early taping and get my tape ready for the late run so I could retape Lexx minus the commercials. I like a few other sci fi shows,but none of them give me the pleasure Lexx has.
