I don’t know whether Saddy would be interested as he’s from the UK, might be worth asking him.
Thing is JJ, most of the peeps here are from the US, and there are a few UK’ers, but it’s mostly US, so I think getting something started from here would prove difficult.
But FX has ties with Salter, so I’ll aske her if she suggest an Uncon for the UK.
The only other thing is that the cast and crew will be separating for good after finishing filming, and as far I’m aware they will doing one more Uncon in the US, and that will be it…shame.
SquishyThere are still a lot of Lexx fans in the UK. I’m sure we could get something together. If we chose a central location I reckon at least a hundred people would show.
Are the actors splitting for good? Surely they will get together for some things? they dont hate each other do they?

I don’t think it’s a case of them hating each other, I think they have other projects which will probably mean that they won’t be able to get together…but who knows.
But you have my support for a convention.

Name a pub and a date and spread it about, and I’m sure you get loads of Lexxians crawling out of the woodwork, especially if you offer free room and board [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

I’d heard about a LansCON (Lancashire is in the UK) that was supposed to happen this month sometime. Jacha was organising it I think, but I’m not sure if it went ahead or not. Does anyone know anything about it?

As for arranging conventions.. I rarely even get to them, being low on money most of the time and terrible at travelling so I leave organising to other people..

not posted here of a while, but I’d be interested in a UK uncon. Reading the other posts I see that there is a possible uncon in the US? Surely if it was to be the last one ever[assuming that the Lexx sets are still standing] Halifax would be the best place. One last time to see the birthplace of Lexx.Kog [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

lexx sets have been cleaned out of studio; other shows are starting there as of the week after we left…so any cons will be without the studios intact for you all to enjoy [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] however, brian indicated that he and nigel are always up for conventions, but he doubted whether xenia and mm would be at least in the immediate future… [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

i’ll say, i am still mourning loss of lexx and all the motley crew even though technically s4 hasn’t even ended…but brian is a prince among men, [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] and i am sure nigel is too (frey got to see him, i didn’t [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]) so the uncons will still be fun…

The Sad day draws nearer. Thats why we need a UK LexxCon to celebrate Lexx. At the same time we could have a USLexxCon and a CANLexxCon and a live link up via the internet…..
