    Hi,

It was suggested that I set up a Stargate SG-1 forum after I moaned about the current poor state of TV sci fi (except SG-1).

    So here it is.

I’m also open to offers of help in creating a new SG-1 section of the guide.

    YAY… NEW BOARD!!!
    And it’s about Stargate… YIPPEE!!!
OK, so someone inform me the last episode shown in America and the UK – because I’ll bet that we here in Australia are WAY behind, as usual. Try not to give away too many plot details. We recently saw Apophis die (again), the SG1 get transported 10,000 (ish) light years away with Sam’s dad, and Teal’c reverting to a loyal servant of Apophis. Then Teal’c’s teacher performed some ritual and brought his memory back… ring any bells?
Hopefully I’m not too far behind!

I think I saw that one last season. The last episode that was shown on network tv was “The Other Side”. It featured DS9’s Rene Ambjoinis(?), screw I’m never attempting to spell that again. It was about SG-1 visitign a planet were a great civil war is occuring. I won’t say much else without spoiling it for you.
Another episode may have been shown this apst weekend, but it wasn’t show in the Philadelphia area, I doubt it was shone in others seeign as it was a major holiday weekend in the states.

No thats fine. One sentence blurbs aren’t really spoilers. Unless its something major like who Rene’s character really was in last weeks ep.

But I’m still mad at you because you got an ep this weekend and I didn’t.

i’m so horribly behind on this show… ::sob:: all of that was a spoiler to me. i found myself w/out cable for awhile, and once i got it back i just never started watching it again. i go through phases where i liked this show and then later thought it was a total snooze… that’s what happens to me when a show lags and there is no male eye candy, ya know. hehe. (Teal’C doesn’t count… he’s buff n’ stuff but *gag* his face is nasty.)

one of *the* best things about SG-1 is the fact that they essentially live here at home on earth… then +poof+ in the blink of an eye the can trasport to all these interesting places… kinda like walking into your little brother’s room from outta the hall but without all of the nudie posters and old food boxes.

that’s my fave twist about the show, anyway.

Headgehog, I think that episode is a rerun, I saw that ep ages ago, Rene woz his face, turns out to be bad guy…right???
Yvonne, Australia is actually in the same season run as the UK, I saw the ep your referring too about three weeks ago (was the ritual taking Teal’c to the point of death???).
So don’t worry Headgehog, Yvonne must have seen that ep before, I’m sure it’s S3.
Just saw one about O’Neill training a young SG team (that’s the new season right???)
Anyhoo, nice to see SG1 here, best Sci-Fi prog next to the great Lexx!!!

Arg Brainfart! Why can’t everyone just see the same epsiodes and the same season on the same day at the same relative time!?

No I think it was a diffent episode then what your thinking since this is from s4. Unless you have showtime, it new to everyone else.

    /spoiler maybe
In this episode Rene (hereafter refeered to as Odo)asked for Earth’s help in a great war. It turns out that the its a civil war. Odo’s culture is about 100 years ahead of earth and Odo’s enemy. But they’re all clones and evil. They want to exterminate the natural borns on their planet. They agree give sg1 all their technology in exchange for heavy water. O’Niell agress but then renigs when he finds out they’re like the nazis. O’Niell and Teal’c use the robot planes to escort the naturals in, to attack the clones, clones go boom, sg1 escapes in time, Odo goes squish on the iris
    /end possible spoiler

    This was from s4.

Next Episode you see get the title. Maybe we’re all on the same page afterall?

Yep, that’s the one, which must mean that I’m watching S5, and that ep must have been S4, oh dear god, it’s so confusing!!!
The last ep I saw was O’Neill training a young SG team, I won’t say anymore than that for fear of spoiling, but it definitely was not in the same season as the Odo ep.

Okay its official. The airing of SG1 has to be handdled by the government.

What network are you watching sg-1 on Squish?

I’m going to start a new thread about how this forum will handle spoilers and ep reviews in the future.

Oh, Lordy Lord, I knew that being in a different time zone/ nation/ hemisphere/ probably on a different planet anyway would screw me up. OK, this week I saw an ep. where Carter meets a being from a planet whose inhabitants created a big weapon then disappeared and this invisible being snuck through the gate and fell in love with Carter, and we tried to fix the weapon but would’ve been killed except the being stopped it by creating his own gate and going through but Carter also went through but it all turned out all right in the end – and the part you’ve been waiting for, the title was… ASCENSION.
    Ummmmm…. I don’t know what series though.

Oh yeah, just thought I’d add that I think Dr Jackson rates as eye candy, and so does Teal’c, but that that stupid little beard thing of his last season (I think – maybe that’ll help to pinpoint me in time) looked completely smeggy…

Confusing ain’t it, I think the easiest thing to do, is ask if anyone would prefer not to see spoilers.
I’m not in the U.S Headgehog, I’m in the U.K, we have Sky, and if past form is anything to go by, it works something like this….Sky will get programmes roughly six months after the U.S, sometimes (Andromeda) a couple of weeks is the difference. The terrestial channels (BBC, ITV, CH4 and CH5) will get them about a year to a year and six months after US release. I think after Canada, we are the next in line to receive American shows (possibly Germany as well).
If you can tell me what the first ep is of S5?, then I’ll tell if that’s the one that we are at.
BTW, did you know they are doing a movie???

Ok okay, so your guys just started the new season then?

Back here they’ve went back into their first set of reruns, which means we’re about half way thorugh. Or at least that’s what Albuquerque is up to.
