quote
“…she will quickly set fire to the house of man”-Kai
Hmmm was that a refrence to earth being humanitys home planet?-SM
11th September 2001 at 1:07 am #48708AnonymousGuestSounds vaguely biblical, or something like that.
11th September 2001 at 6:57 am #48709AnonymousGuestIf that was biblical, whadda you think of
“If a divine assasian is death incarnate, a divine executioner is the apocalypse made flesh” House of man, the house of man.
Humans evolved on Earth in this universe, why not in the Lexx universe?
Can’t wait till next week!!
11th September 2001 at 3:15 pm #48710AnonymousGuestI think he just meant she was gonna trash the Earth and all humankind on it. But, being Kai, he couldn’t just say it that way. He had to say it all cool and Brunnen-G-like. That’s why he’s Kai. Stan would’ve said, “Oh, that’s it, we’re dead!” Direct, but not very cool or enigmatic, like Kai’s speech. The house of man has always been Earth, well, until we take over the unsuspecting universe(s). (Or, on a more metaphysical level, the house of man could be the human spirit as well and Vlad is a corrupter of both flesh and spirit/will…ow! my brain’s bruised! yeah, he does get the more thunderous speechs doesn’t he? i liked the ‘divine assassins as death incarnate, and (vlad) as apocalypse made flesh’ thing…too bad i’m too fried to quote it exactly , i guess it gives somebody(paul, lex?) a chance to write
more purple prose…11th September 2001 at 6:42 pm #48712AnonymousGuestquote:

Vlad got to spout great purple prose as well–how about: There is no light in this dark Universe Kai…only me
I wonder if all the assassins got to talk like that
