What is worth more than your own life, and why?

I saw this posted on a blog I visited the other day and it got me to thinking. Never a good thing.

The obvious answer was of course my children. But what about for those with no kids, or kids grown up and estranged?

Me? Would be pretty sticky. No kids, theNeiceletts are all most all adults now, and presumable responsible for their own lives. TheGrandNephew? Don’t know him yet. But even still, yes for them, even though they are sugar heads who do not email enough. 😀

But what if it wasn’t family? If you knew, knew your death would save a city, (or town, or school) would you sacrifice it? (how one knows this is besides the point, it is a hypothetical question people. 😛 )
