We have seen before when the Lexx got really hungry he acted on his own to find food so why isn’t he now. Is it some sort of protocall that he can’t automatically eat populated planets.

If you designed an intelligent machine you would program it to recharge itself before its batteries ran down. Once its batteries had run down it would be too late. So it seems Lexx has a design fault, or maybe it was nowhere near anything edible when it started to feel hungry, and couldn’t make it in time.

If I was that hungry, I know I wouldn’t hesitate raiding the fridge, even when the food in there doesn’t belong to me…Lexx must have to at some point say ‘sod this, I’m starving, it’s either me or the planet’, and even Lexx is sensible enough to choose the planet!!!

Squishy11th August 2001 at 4:39 am #48028AnonymousGuestI have been wondering the same thing. The Lexx is (or is it?) a sentient creature after all and we did see a moth (in TexxLexx) acting on instinct, so why not the Lexx?
Even Moya and Talyn, with bonafide pilots and controls, act on their own if they sense danger or in circumstances of self (or crew) preservation.
Personally I would like to see more episodes (or at least more information) on The Lexx itself, maybe even a Lexx character development episode or two.
{{shrug}}Just got back from holiday and I have a ton of ‘catch up’ to do, but as I also have a life that needs tended to most of it will have to wait, this one was just an ‘easy’ one to start off with.
