In Gigashadow, why didn’t Zev like Squish?
(not you Squishy, the ‘real’ cluster lizard [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] )She’s half Cluster lizard herself, you wouldn’t think she would dislike her own species.
It couldn’t have been some normal Cluster lizard rivalry thing ’cause Kai (who knows alot about Cluster lizards) was suprised by the way she acted.
Was she so upset thinking she would lose Kai that she ‘lashed out’?
This is a completely frivolus debate, no references to actual events in the real world will be tolerated.

My other theory is that they came up with such a clever line to name the little thing that nothing else mattered.
elmeyMaybe cluster lizards are not maternal. Squish came from a pod/egg thing, so there’d be no need for a “mother.” ? Or maybe she’s more human than cluster lizard. Good topic Hypatia.
I Doubt the species would have an instinct to imprint if they were completely unmaternal. But that doesn’t mean they’re maternal to some other cluster lizard’s baby.
I think Zev was so mean to Squish because she loved him but didn’t want to show her real feelings [img]http://members.dingoblue.net.au/~dark_fire/squishy.jpg[/img]
