theFrey is absolutely right about availability. Not to mention losing ones you lent out, or getting them scratched up. Heck, its an investment right? I’d like to protect mine. And its really not that expensive, I got a sony dvd burner from tigerdirect for around $100, and there are cheaper ones than that. Then I had Nero and a ripper but moved on to 123copydvd because it was faster to use and had more features. I know there’s all kinds of talk about legality, but this is my personal use and I really resent it that someone tells me I can’t do something 😉

It does seem like a rather dull topic. Haven’t seen the issue. Suppose its a good question in a way, though. Who would be on your list? Does it have to be a character? Otherwise, I’d say Roddenbury, Rod Serling. Guess you’d have to have Kirk and Spock. Beyond them, who was really inspiring?
