Tripping the Rift: Cultures: Kubrickians
The Kubrickians are a primitive but peaceful agrarian society that resides upon the barren planet Kubrickia.Their world isn’t very attractive, but it holds many hidden treasures; like vast quantities of gold and silver. This attracted the attention of Darph Bobo of the Dark Clowns to come to the otherwise peaceful world and enslave its inhabitants, claiming to be their new god.
As their new spiritual leader, he guided them on a path toward becoming more civilized. He tired to teach the pacifists how to fight, in the morbidly comical dark clown way, how to mine gold and lastly how to rape their land for all it’s worth. Luckily they were rescued by the crew of the Jupiter 42 and the Confederation. Rescued is a relative word. Chode’s crew took all their gold, and the Confederation introduced capitalism to their world, forever enslaving the Kubrickians in debt and imposed want.
Before they were “civilized”, the Kubrickian enjoyed helping each other out, farming their land, and worshiping god, which they saw in all things. The concept of evil hadn’t occurred to them since their world was so pathetic even the Devil didn’t bother to venture there.
Sex was out in the open on Kubrickia. They feel as the creation of life is a most beautiful thing that all should share in. They have a fetish for four legged women. Kubrickians are mostly bipeds, but an occasional few have four legs, making them quite rare, exotic and attractive to their own kind. Four legers are the redheads of Kubrickian culture. T’Nuk was worshipped as a sex goddess on Kubrickia, proving how backward their culture really is.
