Farscape: S02E06: Picture If You Will

Farscape: S02E06: Picture If You Will

Astute readers will notice that this episode is 2.06, even though its original airdate was the week after “The Way We Weren’t,” causing a few minor continuity problems. If you think everyone is getting along just a little too well after the harrowing events of TWWW, you are correct, because those events haven’t happened yet!

Farscape: S02E05: The Way We Weren’t

Chiana discovers a recording with Moya’s original Pilot. After seeing the recording and realizing Aeryn was involved, Pilot orders Aeryn to leave Moya.

Farscape: S02E04: Crackers Don’t Matter

Farscape: S02E04: Crackers Don’t Matter

Wow! This was a great episode, and hysterically funny, albeit a little sad at the end. It was interesting to see the extent that John and the others knew exactly what buttons to push, especially John and Aeryn with each other.

Farscape: S02E03: Taking the Stone

Farscape: S02E03: Taking the Stone

Welp, this was the latest in a long series of stories of this type, from “Star Trek” (the Old Series, of course), to “Logan’s Run.” Not hideously original, but the main story wasn’t too bad. The Rygel subplot was pretty lame, I have no idea why that was included, if not to show the depths of his depravity.

Red Dwarf: S06E02: Legion

Red Dwarf: S06E02: Legion

This episode is my favourite Red Dwarf episode (yep, another perfect score incoming!). It’s the story of a meeting with a Gestalt Entity – a composite of the Red Dwarf crew!

Red Dwarf: S06E01: Psirens

Red Dwarf: S06E01: Psirens

The first episode or the new series was a cracker! They had a lot to live up to after the perfection of the last episode of Season 5 and they really did a great job.  Sex (or at least the kiss of all kisses!), violence and some GREAT one-liners produced an episode that would live in our memories forever.

Red Dwarf: S05E05: Demons and Angels

Red Dwarf: S05E05: Demons and Angels

The show opened with an amazing experiment to duplicate a strawberry using an adapted Matter Paddle. The duplicated signal is split three ways, thereby triplicating the object. In this case a strawberry (the last one in the universe according to Lister).

Red Dwarf: S05E04: Quarantine

Red Dwarf: S05E04: Quarantine

This was another fine episode.  It opened with the Starbug landing on an icy planet. The crew were there to investigate an abandoned laboratory.  They believe that there is one sole survivor, a genius
hologram doctor.

Red Dwarf: S05E01: Holoship

Red Dwarf: S05E01: Holoship

It was great to see Rimmer’s character challenged in this episode. We all know what a git he can be.  But as we and Nirvana suspected, he may be something more than a complete Smeghead!

Red Dwarf: S07E05: Blue

Red Dwarf: S07E05: Blue

He’s Arnold, Arnold Arnold Rimmer,
Without him life would be much grimmer,
He’s handsome trim and no-one’s slimmer,
He will never need a Zima.
(hahaha – it should have been a hit single!)

Red Dwarf: S07E04: Duct Soup

Red Dwarf: S07E04: Duct Soup

This was a moany, wishy-washy episode that tried to establish Kochanski as a creditable character – but it missed out all the parts of the Red Dwarf Saga that we had come to know and love. Chloe Annett is a wonderful actor that has been introduced to play a major part in a hugely successful cult sci-fi show. Her awe-inspiring performance was wonderful, but oh my god! I’m starting to miss Bob Grant!

Red Dwarf: S07E03: OUROBORUS

Red Dwarf: S07E03: OUROBORUS

The next main character of the Red Dwarf Crew makes an entrance. CK turns out to be a very popular actress in the role and fans warm up to her pretty quickly.

Red Dwarf: S07E02: Stoke me a Clipper

Red Dwarf: S07E02: Stoke me a Clipper

This episode was terrific! (except that it was the last complete episode we saw Rimmer in Season 7). In this episode, we saw the return of Ace Rimmer and again, some fairly mind-blowing comedy sci-fi.

Red Dwarf: S07E01: Tikka to Ride

Red Dwarf: S07E01: Tikka to Ride

The dude on the grassy knoll! No way, seriously, you ain’t gonna believe it! Red Dwarf starts a new season with a vengeance!

Red Dwarf: S06E06: Out of Time

Red Dwarf: S06E06: Out of Time

This was the last show in the series, and boy, was it a cliffhanger! – The Red Dwarf crew meet themselves from then future!

Red Dwarf: S06E05: Rimmerworld

Red Dwarf: S06E05: Rimmerworld

Besides the obvious fun of watching the antics of a world full of Rimmers, the jokes and one-liners in this episode were terrific!

Red Dwarf: S06E03: Gunmen of the Apocalypse

Red Dwarf: S06E03: Gunmen of the Apocalypse

This GREAT show opened with Rimmer playing a Sam Spade character in an AR computer simulation game. Little did he know that later in the day, he would have to play a cowboy game to stay alive!

Red Dwarf: S04E06: Meltdown

Red Dwarf: S04E06: Meltdown

Kryten discovers a matter transporter paddle in the research lab of Red Dwarf and our intrepid heroes transport themselves to a planet of their idols and worst nightmares….

Red Dwarf: S04E05: Dimension Jump

Red Dwarf: S04E05: Dimension Jump

In this episode we are introduced to Ace, a heroic Rimmer what a guy!) and that immortal phrase, “Smoke me a Kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast.” The character is sooooo cheesy that you just can’t help warm to him.

Red Dwarf: S04E03: Justice

Red Dwarf: S04E03: Justice

Another classic episode in which Rimmer is accused of manslaughter and heroically defended by Kryten.
