C’mon Lady….. insist there be a panel at every con for women in sci-fi and park your rear there… and if it steps on Mr T’s toes so be it! You know we are not going to see any of your words make it out of a writer’s room; your execs won’t let anything that doesn’t give them money in the hand see the light of day.
Hell, I’d step on your hubbies toes leg and head if he doesn’t give women sci-fi beyond Lifetime and totally clue him in about relationships; since when have you known that many people in one enclosed space who are total boneheads about amour.

And you know what? I miss the innocence of the Dualla/Billy relationship. It didn’t reek of the silly love choices of Season 3; and I miss the tender side of Starbuck like praying for Leoben after he was airlocked.

Sometimes art SHOULD reflect RL, RDM; I know I know… your playground is these “character contortions” for interest but put some RL love in it will you and hop to it. Chop chop!
Or if it too late to repair this in BSG, tuck it in the back of your mind for another project that not all characters have to be that dysfunctional. Not all people act like teenagers with angst when it comes to having a happy life and being loved. You can put sunshine and flowers in life. There can be humor; there can be kindness; there can be light. Every issue doesn’t have to be a political commentary. You ever think not everyone is so gun ho on that portion of life.
Look, we’re are going to be saturated in politics next year… lighten the load. Social issiues don’t change unless there is action; less talk more action baby.
