I had a dream oh a few night ago, that RDM was coming to kill me for killing his wife.
I didn’t kill his wife; he killed his wife through bad choices. Cause and effect manifested; i wasn’t even in the same time zone and she died of a complication from a terminal disease.
I was falsely accused because I predicted her demise. unfortunately, like most people, they do not want to see their connection to all events in their own lives and the interrelatedness of it. I was preparing her, because her karma dictated this; his karma dictated this. I’m just like the piece of paper the lab results come back on.
He made BAD karmic choices and so must get the effects. No one escapes this; you can lessen it’s effect; but BAD karma of this magnitude will cost blood ….I knew it will cost blood.
SO, in the dream his pursuit and how long he is behind is well known to me and the reasons why also known because of a companion. A male. He is desperate to protect me and get me to a safe house in another location.
So the whole dream is about RDM and when his plane will arrive and how quickly can my guardian can get me out of the state and country. And the delays….. like at the airport, his flight is disembarking, mine is embarking eyes lock at the gates, my companion pushes toward me into the accordion and stands with arms folded in front of it. He says “C’mon, try it. I want you to.”
RDM jumped the barrier cord and heads for him (or well it I don’t think the companion is what we call human) for the walkway, but for once airport security was right there and hauled him off.
The call after him from “The Companion” (so STrekkie like) was “You did it to yourself; your wife did it to herself, accept that.”
I finally have the door of the safe house in my sight and who is in the shadows with a knife…….
Then I woke up.
Ya know I was thinking today (yeah yeah, about time) that those lazy punk ass writers blew a wondrous opportunity YET again to explore universal human elements.
For example, take Gina/Six…. they could easily compare the psyche of one person and the effect on two different people which then becomes a ripple effect for the Cylons finding New Caprica etc…by comparing and contrasting her effect on Baltar and Cain but NOOOOO; they want the shock value of a lessie relationship b/c it hasn’t been done up in sci-fi before.
You know why the ratings died; cause you can’t READ the muilti-faceted changing audience you do or did have and all the fanfare to play to your Hollywood peer group. I don’t give one thought to them because the whole industry is on shifting sand; always has been, always will be.
The Emmys are not going to make you better people; thus you won’t get one; look for what makes us better people without slipping to lowest common denominator; aspire for higher and you get higher ideals and ideas. Then you can have an Emmy, capeche?
OOOH question? What is the biggest indicator of a stale story?
How many “new”people you have to bring in for interest.
This Campbell thing; now the suits are doing casting… heaven help us all. Next it will be WWE wrestlers as the last Cylon models; and we can look forward to body slams, chairs crashing over heads.

I know I know… this is about characters not the story; the hell with the story…. but what if the old girl herself is compromised. Yes the bucket…. woke these 5 herself. She was as asleep as all of them but with all the Cylon linkage with the device in the early portion and the virus and the black-out… and uploads from hotwiring Sharon; well let’s say it switches on when the objective is in site ie… Earth.
I’m tired of characters…. redeeming qualities have been downplayed too long IMHO, and yes the uglieness of fans has pushed this fatigue to breaking point.
We all put on blinders to those faults of the people in “our” corner. it doesn’t mean they are not there, but we just turn a blind-eye to them and our own especially when we are under attack. Natural balancing mechanism.

Balance baby; the more negative they are the more off the seesaw is. If tolerance was respected instead of attack of opposing viewpoints; then balance might be acheived.

We are only trapped in the cycle of determinism if we do not choose. Choose to think of better ideals; make better causes even in the midst of bad circumstances.

Beauty is such a subjective term; I’ve seen a pic of you; I’m not a judge of feminine beauty; it’s not my bag; and it is not important what I think; it’s all about what you think. Really “sigh” I cannot espouse the fact that much has changed in the thought processes from Season 3 to Season 4 except caving to certain groups like the male 18-49.
In other words, with a few caveats for males 18-49 which is the Pegasus bone and story line thrown to you, this is TV you want to avoid if you are not on anti-depress…. You’ve got a major Mal…. if life is THAT bad. Oh, but that’s not exciting…. it is and it is refreshing when all we’ve seen is bitching at the world and nothing is being done.

No amount of support from let’s say ten people per board will change this. The edgieness has dulled to a love story.
Whatever the results of past actions will be… cannot be escaped from….. no matter if you go from the highest mountain to the lowest sea.
Predeterminism is when you know effects “will ride you down like grass” and you steel yourself to face them. Escapism is running from them, hoping they won’t darken your doorstep when you know they will enter and find you. You cannot escape this.

You must face your demons: they already own pieces of you. If you’ve read “Anatomy of the Spirit” by Caroline Myss you’d know the dis-ease in one’s body is when we block energy from entering and leaving.

We constantly yimmer-yammer about this show and want to give it accolades that ot may at times deserve; and at times NOT deserve; such is the nature of life. They harp constantly about realism and what it means to be human.
And is it real to think that man is only this animal following his passions and darkness; using his keen sense of instinct and mimic to constantly pull from and manipulate his enviroment to meet those needs.
But yet his is but a highly evolved monkey.
Is it real to go the other extreme that man was created by divine presence…. that his every waking moment is tabulated, and counted, and cross-referenced to be here or here or even here for his destiny. Everything mapped out and charted from first breath of life to last. Then, this divine child rests eternally in the clouds, when saying the magic words about belief and a quick I’m sorry to those he had hurt when he carried out pre-determined erring in sin.
Or one two many errings lead to a fiery eternity; but planned.But yet he is divine AND Man, but not as good as some; better than others.
The hierarchy of the blessed and cursed.

your best works are collaborated works otherwise you are TOO dark and creepy.
Comes from fertile imagination and economic stability and more how do I say it… you have base needs met ;in fact over met; so you hunger to spread your wings to other areas of life where you have needs and desire you also need met. in other words you get a tent, clothes and food you go looking for other needs you get a woman and from that kids ; and everything is fime; you yearn for another step.
This is human, to strive to yearn for that next step of understanding. Though you may have met these needs and have those that will constantly meet those needs and in fact overmeet those needs to the point of smothering…. you will always yearn; you will always burn…. and need and desire.
That is what it means to be human and it how one learns to convert what one might call the animas in us to the rational intelligent, loving part of the divine us is the reality.
Not the material stuff, not the power or the praise. all of that is outside of us; a RESULT of this constant struggle; not the goal but the afterthought; not the main meal; the dessert that really can be skipped after a full satisfying meal.
You Dowl have made dessert your main course in life; of course you’ll look sick’ of course you’ll get sick; you aren’t getting what you need; the food you need for growth.

And voila; I came i saw , I helped, I ‘m trying to move on, and well I’m running…away from this. Whe he goes dark he’s scary and nothin’ is pulling him free.
Inherent darkness, his goes real deep; no wonder Brother Dowl drinks in excess. And cold, the Mother of the chick killed; she’s brassy but cold. people give you all kinds of cover to protect themselves from hurt. Denial, ruthlessness, coldness, silence, aggressiveness, and any addiction.
We attract to us those of like-mindedness. So, one must ask oneself do I or will in know this person for a reason,a season or for a lifetime?
Me, the connection is for a season or a duration of finite time less than ten years. This season is nearly done.
We change throughout our lifetime several times; make sure you two over the moonsters can change together.
Who can afford your writing if no we cannot watch TV; who will praise you when all around you are those that cannot feed their children. You are an empty voice; a hawker of dark wares no one will buy when despair grips their soul.
You must grapple this demon to spit out hope. If you want to live on, you must lighten; no one will buy ideas of dark in dark times.
And not brassy hard hope; “you MUST fell this way because i am a person of import and I tell you to.”
GO! (I hate that frackin’ answerfor twenty questions, I’d tell you to shove that GO right up your rear; I’m not racing…. I’m not kissing ass to have questions answered with your Almighty hand. You are a scribe; your ideas are gifts, to be given and taken away. Your wife may deify you out of love, and your peers and fans out of loyalty; but I deify no one.
When you are ready to come off the high mountain you’ve perched yourself on and talk real; you know where I am.

Some one is too complacent, and when writers get complacent, the story suffers. Play the character card all you want but the talent can only pull a bad story out of a mire so many times.
And really,truly, I didn’t watch Buffy or Angel, didn’t want to, don’t want to. They are right up there with Smallville, Dr. Who, and various and sundry shows that do not interest me or if i turned it on would not keep my interest.

it is good/bad to be wrong sometimes which means ALL of you to stop buying into the “Chosen One philosophy and realize we all gots it in different ways.

I read this book by Shery Teper called Beauty and it is a highly moralistic tale.

I hope RDM and DE succeed beyond what they secretly desire for accomplishment but not as a hammer to pound others down but as a fulfillment of their personal potential. Not to use it over others as a animalistic alpha male/ female badge as they are wont to do with all this Emmy hype and constant need to prove something, but as a fulfillment of who they are.
Not as a gloat but a moment of wonder, humility to the power of creation and appreciation.

may be its a bias of mine; but when I think Hollywood types i don’t think sincerity, truthfulness, altruism, or any of those traits I desperately want to cultivate in myself.
I don’t aspire in my life to make $2 miliion dollars, get pieces of metal and own more stuff and be pandered by people that will kiss ass until you turn away THEN talk about you behind your back and if you hit a slump or crisis, climb over each other to grind you under their heel.
Those people do not interest me in the least.
Some, true, are respectworthy, but well they are few and far between.
It’s as if they have a shellac of kindness and sweetness, and openess that covers some darker motivations and ugliness; like fake storefronts they used in the old West to build up a very ordinary if not dilapidated buildings. All that body consciousness hides a lack of inner spark, inner peace and inner joy.
Nothing others can “Give” you can create joy, joy is what you give yourself even in the most trying times.
Some part of this Moore man vacillates between joy and despair. i understand this. It’s possible to reach that balance but YOU have to the work; your wife can’t do it for you. No one can do it; you must do it; the acceptance of who you are fully right here and right now.
If this is your goal, no one or nothing can take joy and light from you, no matter the circumstance

I had a dream RDM came begging at my door with a raggedy wife and kids and I gave them a valuable artifact and they threw it away, because it just looked like a stone; but it was the most valuable uncut diamond the world has ever seen. They cursed me for giving them a stone and derided me.
They then came back for begging and i kicked them to the curb after calling them the most ignorant people alive; and that nothing of lasting value LOOKS valuable. It starts in rough form.
You know, this is the fall of this family. When one does not see or appreciate what one has been given and listens only to fantasy non-based reality; you develop a cocoon of ignorance around oneself; constantly fed by loooove but yet not reality.
I’ll stand by that…. current events savvy….they may be…. but common stones they will remain; with nothing to polish against they cannot cast off the transient and retain (nor find with BOTH Hands) the true.
They couldn’t find the truth with a sonar/dradis combination.

These can be a part of our true nature… if we don’t see it, how can we change it?
These traits are not for your betterment, they will kill you one way or another.
unless you find your inner worm, your inner hook, you will not stop creating bad causes, and sooner or later you will succumb to the evil or innate darkness in your own life.
Glossing it over will not help you in the long run, at all.
I decided to watch The Fifth Element again; I mean we are not talking the best sci-fi around but it did have a touch of a story.
It actually had humor in… sci-fi! and though it was a classic good vs. evil tale and two Willisque to make it that good; well it had its moments. It was an attempt….
I know I know there are some animated funny sci-fi; but it is nice to see humor there; I don’t think our future leaders walk around with a phaser up their rears, do you? Or does it have to be soooo dark.
And um, psst… if you have to tell people you have a sense of humor, or tell them ANYTHING they should be able to deduce for themselves; you are probably building up an ego to hide a not so stellar part of yourself.
Why? I don’t know… no one can be perfect… not one blessed individual; stop trying to be; work with wots you got; and stop with that silliness.
Some one is feeling the strain and building/buffering an ego.
