by Curve[i]With a backwards glance I said goodbye
Saw the regret in your eyes
It’s too late now to change the truth
While were living under the same roof
Its a ruse of yours
To alter perception
Manipulate a violent situation
For your own gain
With my tits in the air
I’m strong and proud
You’ll see me laughing out loud
On a crowded street
In the summer heat
We’ll all be there
So come and share
Its a ruse of yours
To alter perception
Manipulate a violent situation
To your own gain
And your own needs
And your own fear
And your own tears
Seek and destroy
Smile and obey

Though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remainAll these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall

There is no one compares with you
And these mem’ries lose their meaning

As time goes by . . .Moonlight an’ love songs never out of date,
Hearts full of passion, jealousy an’ hate,

19th May 2003 at 3:45 pm #66101mandara kParticipantThere’s magic in these threads again folks! The downside is the bombing in Casablanca; the upside is the fact the TCM(Turner Classic Movies) aired both The Mummy and The Raven with Boris Karloff last night. I was sooo excited…. 😀 It wasn’t “The Raven” I prefer but it was do-able.
Whad’ I tell ya; more freakin’ damn pyramids! Did you ever see a lot of something over and over and until something happens it doesn’t go away; and then an event occurs and then
it goes away. Alan Parsons Project: The Raven
[i]The clock struck midnight
And through my sleeping
I heard a tapping at my door
I looked but nothing lay in the darkness
And so I turned inside once moreTo my amazement
There stood a raven
Whose shadow hung above my door
Then through the silence
It spoke the one word
That I shall hear for evermoreNevermore
Thus quoth the raven, nevermoreAnd still the raven remains in my room
No matter how much I implore
No words can soothe him
No prayer remove him
And I must hear for evermoreQuoth the raven, nevermore

I like it a lot and I eat it the most.
Choast, Choast, beautiful Choast,
Cheese and toast makes Choast.
Cheese and toast makes Choast. To make some Choast here’s what you need,
a slice of bread and some wonderful cheese.
A little bit of pepper and some orange salt,
And three hundred and fifty degrees.Chorus
Ask your Mom or Dad to slice the cheese,
And turn on the oven, don’t forget to say please!!
And the salt and pepper and some TLC.
It’s as easy as One…Two…Three.Chorus
Now place it in the oven for ten or fifteen

I dream my life away
I’m just a dreamer

I’m hoping that the dawn will bring a sign
A better place for those Who will come after us …
This timeI’m just a dreamer
I dream my life away oh yeah
I’m just a dreamer
Who dreams of better daysYour higher power may be God or Jesus Christ
It doesn’t really matter much to me
Without each others help there ain’t no hope for us
I’m living in a dream of fantasy
Oh yeah, yeah, yeahIf only we could all just find serenity
It would be nice if we could live as one
When will all this anger, hate and biggotry …
Be gone?I’m just a dreamer

Early morning April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last they took your life
they could not take your prideAnd again from U2 from “From the Cradle to the Grave” it’s asong that has significance to me not for human to human love but to my spiritual love of my life; so it’s important for personal to me.
“You say you want
diamonds and a ring a gold
You say you want your story to remain untold
But all the promises we make from the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you…”It’s like a conversation I have with the Buddha since I’m a Buddhist.
Some of the “promises” that I hear back…..
You say You’ll give me
A highway with no one on it
Treasure just to look upon it
All the riches in the nightYou say you’ll give me
eyes in a moon of blindness
A river in a time of dryness
A harbor in the tempestTAke care

6th November 2003 at 8:00 am #69057lexxrobotechParticipantapart from the usual (Blink 182, Anouk, A, Zebrahead, Jimmy Eat World, Lit and Feeder) Ive been listening to “simple plan” lately. They’re a bit pop, but Im bored as hell with music out now. Ive also been listening to The Ataris. It’s wierd how it caught my eye. I saw them on MTV, and their album is called ‘so long, Astoria’. Astoria is the town the Goonies lived in. I checked the internet and found out this IS why they called the album. They’re all Goonies fans. Of course, I used kazaa to find some more of their stuff. It’s okay, they’re a cover band more than anything though. Lots of 80’s rock repunked. Tis okay.
