Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy: Cultures: The Mice
The Mice are a particularly clever race of pan dimensional beings.
The two programmers |
The Mice became sick and tired of pondering the meaning of life that they eventually decided to sit down and solve it once and for all! They spent much money and resources building a stupendous Super Computer called Deep Thought. Deep Thought however wimped out and said it couldn’t answer their question. It did however design Earth! A whopping organic computer with a ten million year programme that would ultimately answer that all important question.
The mice observe the humans |
They are of course NOT mice They are the protrusion into our dimension of vast hyper intelligent pan dimensional beings!
The stuff with the cheese etc was just a front! It wasn’t WE who were doing experiments on MICE, it was MICE who were experimenting on US!!
Such subtlety!!! How better to guide, to observe. How better to disguise their true natures!? Imagine them amongst us, suddenly running
the wrong way down a maze, suddenly eating the wrong bit of cheese, unexpectedly dropping dead of mixamatosis?!
Earth gets clobbered by the Vogons |
If it were to be finely calculated, the cumulative effect of such actions could be staggering!
Why didn’t they stick to their own bloody dimension? Why mess about having the Earth made and populating is with handsome and beautiful people and the experimenting and deceiving them and then…… Well, I suppose they got their just deserts in the end!
The Earth computer was ultimately destroyed 5 minutes before it completed its program (after ten million years). Serves the buggers right!
