Battlestar Galactica. More on Doctor Who’s Season Three http://scifi.about.com/b/a/257426.htm The BBC has announced some official credits and spoilers for the third season of their hit TV continuation of the Doctor’s adventures. David Tennant returns with new companion Freema Agyeman for all thirteen episodes as medical student Martha Jones. Writer and exec producer Russell T Davies says, “We were delighted and honoured by the second series’ success, and we can promise new thrills, new laughs and some terrifying new aliens…The Doctor and Martha are destined to meet William Shakespeare, blood-sucking alien Plasmavores, The Judoon – a clan of galactic stormtroopers – and a sinister intelligence at work in 1930s New York.” The Christmas episode features the return of the Robot Santas with Sarah Parish as the villain and Catherine Tate as a bride who finds her wedding day interrupted by an alien plot to destroy the Earth has already been completed. Talk about a story for Etiquettehell.com! ALSO – Doctor Who Coming in Sept. to Sci-Fi after all! Word is, Doctor Who’s second season will premiere Friday, September 29th @ 9 PM with the first two episodes back-to-back.  Faldor showed off his home video editing skills  🙂

The next week, Battlestar Galactica’s two-hour season three premiere will take up the time slots, then they’ll share the Friday night schedule. Look for a Season One Who a daytime marathon of the last eight episodes September 29th as well.

LOS ANGELES — Peter MacNicol, who’s maybe best-known for playing John Cage on “Ally McBeal,” will step into a decidedly different TV world next season. The Emmy-winning actor is joining the cast of “24” for the FOX show’s sixth season, which gets underway in January. Pictures has planned to shoot I am Legend with Will Smith in September 2006 (in New York) and completing in March or April next year. \ The movie, based on the Richard Matheson bookis about the last living man on Earth… but he is not alone. Every other man, woman, and child has become a vampire, and they are all hungry for Will Smith’s blood. By day, he is the hunter, stalking the sleeping undead through the abandoned ruins of civilization. By night, he barricades himself in his home and prays for the dawn.

Star Trek Goes to TV Land TV Land has acquired the rights to the original Star Trek series, which will join the cable network’s regular rotation in November, Zap2It reported. The classic-television network will get an early start on the voyages of the starship Enterprise on Sept. 8, the 40th anniversary of the show’s premiere on NBC, when TV Land will show four episodes, including “The Man Trap,” the episode that began the series on Sept. 8, 1966.
