I feel your pain. Many Scifi movies are sequels as well. Is there anything original? Many of the books mentioned are part of series. Authors must like the built in readers they get for the sequels. How about Arthur C. Clarke’s “The Fountains of Paradise”. It’s a Nebula and Hugo award winner from 1979/1980.
gw2001hParticipantWay to much MaryJane singing. The last 30 minutes were good.
By the way, I’m getting tired of the characters featured in upcoming movies appearing in TV commercials. To much commercialization. Can’t they just do product placement like they use to. I did think Spidy dangling a tool from the garage ceiling was funny.
gw2001hParticipantI heard Erica Durance from (Lois Lane from Smallville) was up for it. SCifi. com, I think. She works for me!
gw2001hParticipantIn recent episodes there are 5 models as yet identified, even by the current Cylons featured.
Must have gone over budget on the special effects that week.
gw2001hParticipantI can’t believe I’m saying this, I thought she was sexier with her BSG dress.
gw2001hParticipantGood question! I’ve got 2. First is Rollerball (1975), with James Caan. The action shots from the track are really cool, and the use of blood is liberal. There’s great tension at the end of the championship game. Second is Timecop. Can you believe it, Jean-Claude van Damme in an interesting movie.
gw2001hParticipantGood to have you back! I was missing the episode reviews.
Live long and prosper.gw2001hParticipant2001 A Space Odyssey. Even if you didn’t understand it, you have to admit it was one interesting end.
