The RomulansParticipantHmm… more seasons? what about the ‘grand scheme’… I dont want to see some lame spin offs? The circle of time… complete the circle I say.
I dont know, I guess we’ll see what happens. Is 24 episodes enough for all the great ideas, to wrap up episodes that seemed fairly devoid of meaning or as if there was something else happening (White Trash) and to answer the many many questions we have about Lexx? I can see a season five… but I hope it doesn’t go ‘on and on’ and get boring.
btw what happened to Jeffery Hirshfield (is that his name?), I hope hes back for season 4.

The RomulansParticipantHis Shadow’s essence exists within that butterfly seen in 2.20?
The butterfly (and other insects?), over 4000 years+ mutate and evolve to become THE insects! omg!
could that be it where the insect civilisation came from? Or perhaps from Earth… somehow. Just some random thoughts, I saw someone mention the butterfly.
The RomulansParticipantYeah I noticed the US sci-fi series thing, deary me. I dont think they even bothered doing ads. Today not a few minutes ago I saw these 5 coloured brains (you know the 5 channel 7 colours) walking along and I thought “wow they are showing Lexx series 2!” but it was some other advertisement 😛
I would do anything to be an extra on Lexx!
The RomulansParticipantSounds good jimbob.
Just thought of something I forgot about before: Blue star from Lexx 2.0 (series 1), that was never really explained maybe something can be said about that in series 4. (was that the same blue star seen that the very start of Lexx? hmm) I am sure there are other moments like that. Ahh theres one, in Terminal (2.1?) when Kai is getting hit my the plasma beam, there is some weird essense-like stuff or something coming out of him…. hmm!
Ok well I am glad to hear the creators have the final say on stuff still and one more lunatic with some ideas can only be a good idea.
You should visit Darrow’s site… er.. or the site with his stuff on. I find that most interesting. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Academy/8466/lexxplorations.html
It might give you a few ideas. Maybe he discussed the blue star there, hmm I will have to see. (just got the 4 series 1 Lexx DVDs ye see)

The RomulansParticipantHrrmm… yes… Kai…
maybe he can finally die and rest in peace after he does something really heroic or something.
Obviously the mighty Beans know where Kai (and the other characters) is/are finally going to end up so far be it for us to suggest things or to say not to do things.
The RomulansParticipantI pretty much agree with most of the stuff said already.
I like each of the series, each has its own strengths. Lexx at its best is a combination of comedy, drama and sexiness… I like that.
Series 3 did seem a tad overly serious though, but it was more breathtaking and epic than the previous series so it was all balanced, all good.
I like the idea that lots of things within each episode are meaningful, whereby that message is hidden, subtle, will be revealed later (ie. in series 4) or otherwise. Further exploration of characters and themes from series 2 and 1 (and obviously 3) would be great for series 4.
Just some random thoughts: the insect wars, the end of the Lexx and the end of (two) universe(s) – how did the ending of the light universe effect the dark zone?, the circle of time (perhaps they escaped the cycle by escaping the end of the light zone in 2.20), the final judgement of stan (I like the idea of evil Stan too, the picture on this page http://www.blackstar.co.uk/zone/lexx/3 is very cool, from The Net I think) – Stan as a sort of Macbeth??, umm that garbage planet seen in series 1 (3.0)… I dont know where the series is finally heading but those are some things that could be cool.
Confining the action to Earth until the end of series 4, I dont know how that would work for all 24 episodes. Hmm. Perhaps they can all meet up somewhere like in Hitch Hikers Guide “The Bar At the end of the universe” or whatever it was 😛
As long as it doesn’t stray too far from what we’ve seen in Lexx so far and does not get predictable and doesn’t become a re-hash of episodes (Though I like the idea of ‘sequel’ episodes – where the original episode is enhanced by the sequel not rehashed)… oh god I hope it is not dulled down or anything for Sci-Fi US, please no. Make edited/non-edited versions or something for the love of god, don’t deny us seeing something that those crazy Beans want us to see.
Oh, and I’d love to see a memory pop up from Kai or something of the time prophet predicting something else… I dont know how that would work, but established things from series 1 and 2 are really high on the list of things I’d love to see in series 4.
