Red Dwarf: S07E07: Epideme

The introduction (two part show) to the crazy and wacky world of Red Dwarf saga nanobots. This concept saved the seventh series in my opinion – wonderfully executed sci fi fun!

Red Dwarf: S08E02: Back in the Red (II)

I have to tell you guys, Chloe Annette, as Kochanski looks absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in this episode dressed in that uniform! I know it’s sexist, but what the hell, I reckon you girls are pretty impressed with Lister and Rimmer in their... Read more

Red Dwarf: S08E03: Back in the Red (III)

For me, it took a while to get going, and many people have emailed me telling me that they don’t like the fully crewed Red Dwarf twist to the series, but the saga had to be updated and it is as funny and wacky as ever.

Farscape: S02E02: Vitas Mortis

The name of this episode has multiple meaning, which include something like “The Lives of Death” or “Death’s Lives,” or perhaps “Death’s Ways of Life.” In addition to the “life-related” meanings, there is also an alternate meaning to “vitas”... Read more

Farscape: S02E03: Taking the Stone

Welp, this was the latest in a long series of stories of this type, from “Star Trek” (the Old Series, of course), to “Logan’s Run.” Not hideously original, but the main story wasn’t too bad. The Rygel subplot was pretty lame, I have no idea... Read more

Farscape: S02E04: Crackers Don’t Matter

Wow! This was a great episode, and hysterically funny, albeit a little sad at the end. It was interesting to see the extent that John and the others knew exactly what buttons to push, especially John and Aeryn with each other.

Red Dwarf: S07E02: Stoke me a Clipper

This episode was terrific! (except that it was the last complete episode we saw Rimmer in Season 7). In this episode, we saw the return of Ace Rimmer and again, some fairly mind-blowing comedy sci-fi.

Website Introduction...

SadGeezer Profile lasereyesThis is a fansite archive for the best TV and movie, game and book science fiction had to offer. It is not maintained as regularly as I would like but you are welcome to browse and hang out.

If you like innovative, intelligently written sci fi with lots of 'gratuitous', you will most certainly enjoy the recommendations found in the reviews at Sci Fi SadGeezers.

This is a not for profit fansite and it may even be slightly and unintentionally offensive.

Alas, we can't avoid spammers and so you aren't able to register to post in the forums, but please feel free to browse as much as you like. The forums contain posts from fans of classic sci fi shows predominently at the time they were aired - and before the moronic drivvel that is found in social media fansites (mainly :) ) - this is, after all, one of the oldest and most established cult sci fi fansites in the world with over 2,000 detailed episode reviews and 40,000+ forum posts. Some are over twenty years old!

Sci Fi SadGeezers logoAlthough I can only post when I have time, I'll try and post reviews of worthy shows as soon as I can.

The menu bar above helps you navigate the latest posts on News, TV Shows, Anime, Movie, Book and Games reviews. Next, we have the Sci Fi SadCasts that were produced a few years ago and clicking on the Guides link will take you to a structured menu of all our review content (some of the reviews are from the 1990's!). We're also re-engineering the infamous Sci Fi Purity Tests for fun and silliness.

Hopefully you will find something you like. I sincerely hope so.
