You know what they say: the eyes are the window to the soul. The white glowing eyes never worked for me. Without pupils it’s very difficult to focus on something and to show subtle emotion, which Six has a lot of. Not to mention that we already have Gus without pupils, but he can pull it off better since his character is much more over the top than Six’s, he uses his body more to show emotion. I was impartial to the hair, Her original cut worked for me, but Scifi wanted something more hip, so we came up with this. I think it suits her personality very well.
Sure enough, the “wardrobe malfunction” line was a last minute addition, actually last week. Seems Scifi wants to have the humour as up to date as possible (there was no line here originally). Don’t be surprised to hear a few more recent additions in upcoming episodes.
Fact: Terry Farrel was originally hired to voice Six in the TV series. She had been recorded for the first 2 episodes which were then animated, when she inexplicably decided to stop. Rumour has it she found the show too crude and did not want to be associated with it anymore (a move she may someday regret?). Other actresses were auditioned and scifi eventually settled on Gina Gershon to do the rest of the season. For consistency the 2 first episodes were rerecorded with Gina, none of Terry’s lines were used.
Good review! Again thanks for the words of encouragement. As for Bobo… well let’s just say that you got to see his more lighthearted side here, after all he is masquerading as a judge. You’ll get to see his nastier side in upcoming episodes… What happened with Gus is that he became a queen, once we introduced Tnuk to the show. Their characters would have been to similar. She now has the title of Bitch. Stay tuned next week. Chode is electrifyng!
She’s a Venetian. She’s in a TV ad in an upcoming episode, other than that you won’t be seeing too much of her. Well actually she will be in tonite’s episode too. Lotsa women in that episode. The black bars are censorship. Scifi won’t show nips and they don’t want us to pixelate.
No, you’re just on the wrong track. Do a little research on how you write “Six” in a certain Asian language and voila!… The design looked cool. It’s that simple. We weren’t trying to get overly sophisticated when we designed it. Sorry to dissapoint…
