    From Valdron:
Overall, Lexx fandom is visibly withering away. The average fan who might become involved is driven away by the politics and backbiting and showboating of the dominant cliques. Even fans who are involved are steadily stepping away.

All I can say is ‘Wow’. I consider myself pretty astute at corporate politics having ‘survived’ two decades in my chosen profession. Much of what Fatguys says about leaving well enough alone rings true. But in my two months at Lexx.com I have never felt it was anything other than a source of fun. I learned quite a few new things about Lexx, and many hours of entertainment there from the talented contributions of the members. Sure there were a few rules but there are rules everywhere. The other item I noted was a constantly growing membership and very active turn of the topics. Oh at times, they went lame and there were ‘snerts’ who would visit and post silly items, but overall, I have to say that I have been pleased with Lexx.com

Those who think it is dominated by cliques, well if you don’t post there that becomes self-fulfilling prophesy

I just wanted to add- don’t forget to ask for your favorites whether Xenia Seeburg, Brian Downey, Nigel Bennett etc but especially Ellen Dubin. Ellen ‘Gigerotta the Wicked’ Dubin has to be just about the best fan’s actress ever. She is featured in the current issue of Sirens of Cinema #4. She would love an invitation!

So what’s the truth? I have been reviewing this thread off/on and have come to these conclusions:
    1) Lexx fans and Farscape fans had a significant crossover
    2) The really passionate Lexx fans are/were probably more tolerant of Farscape than vice versa
    3) When Lexx did not follow Farscape, it hurt the audience for Farscape
    4) Some Farscape fans truly despized Lexx, at worst Lexx fans were bored by Farscape particularly after season two
    Okay,sound right?
And where is the source for objective proof? I spent an afternoon cruising the Net looking for ratings info but could find it for the prime time shows only…

I just wanted to add a point to Valdron’s fine analysis of the Lexx timeline – Vlad did not know that His Divine Shadow had already been killed by Kai (I think this is revealed in 4.10 Magic Baby) – so that puts Vlad’s insertion into Earth history from The Light Universe as between IWHS and GigaShadow.

Now a question, 790 had no knowledge of the Dark Universe in 1.2 SuperNova, yet in 4.22 Trip, 790 can describe civilizations and histories of planets in the Dark Zone in detail. Since travels in the Dark Zone were pretty limited to Earth and its Twins on the other side of the Sun, where did 790 get this information?
