Yep, can’t get used to the clean happy chirpy (crappy) look of the site as it looks now.  Should always be a little dark  I think  🙂

I’m actually keeping the current (light background) look as an option for people who don’t like the ‘traditional’ theme.  we’ll be periodically changing it with new themes and people will have the option of chosing the look and feel they prefer.  The hard part of all this is how to make the sight work in dark and light background themes (meant we had to scrub all the html text attributes from 49,000 web pages  – That was fun  🙂

Nearly finished – hopefully you’ll see it before Mike gets drunk on Friday  🙂

Not yet.  I’m having difficulty with this module.  There are too many security problems with it.

I’m working on the theme at the moment, the image uplad is nex.

 

There is however and imagte upload feature in the wysiwyg editor for all your posts.  You will see a tree like icon and that gives you the option of adding images (not into the Gallery though).

Thanks babe, I know you were sensitive to the look and feel of the old site remaining.

There is still some work to do however. My intention is to have a range of themes that users can select. Those of us that don’t like small writing for instance, should be able to have a theme which has large text or some of us really like Mike’s work with the old theme, soo there will be a classic SAdGeezer theme and scariest of all will be the original theme, do you remember the old bronze theme – that will be available too 🙂

Best of all I want peeps like Flamegrape to get involved and other graphics people who would like toproduce a theme with their own ideas to promote their abilities, but I guess that will take some time 🙂

I think it’s a javascript error. I noticed that the mouseovers don’t work on the SadBOARD (it uses a different template). I don’t get the error on any of the other pages outside SadBOARD, so I’ll try and fix the mouseover problem and hopefully that will fix the Error on Page message.

unfortuantely I was having a bad day yesterday and the worst things was that for different reasons, I couldn’t post a message on SadBOARD as ‘SadGeezer’ the damn site keeps locking me out! [b]Ironic huh?[/b] 😉

Yes, I’m not sure why this is happening. It seems to dissapear when the page is fully loaded. I don’t get a button popping up, I just see a little ‘Error on page’ message in the bottom right hand corner of the browser window. I’ll check it out and see if I can fix it.

Hmmm, let me see… do I want your contribution?! That’s a tough one. After spending two months updating and upgrading the SadBOARD making it more robust and reliable only to have some crazy nutter like you badmouthing me for it….. hmmm… lets see, still difficult to decide….. spent two days converting 25,000 forum posts from an old forum system to a new improved, faster one and have some idiot calling me a [b]hypocrite[/b] and posting an insulting message in the SadFAQ questions…..
