Babylon 5: S05E16: And All My Dreams Torn Asunder
The plot thickens, but we still don’t know who is behind the Centauri War. We saw, in earlier episodes not one, but two different races pulling the strings on Centauri Prime.

Read moreLondo and G’Kar return to Centauri Prime to figure out who in the government started the attacks and Sheridan finally authorises the Whitestars to participate in the war.
Read moreThis was a cracker of an episode – The title says it all to be honest – definitely watch this though, it’s great!
Read morehe depressing inevitability of Londo’s situation, the scary effects of Lyta’s involvement with the Vorlons and that twit Byron, gives the impression of a saga REALLY hotting up. However, the feeling that this great saga was drawing to a close was overwhelming.
Read moreWe all breathed a sigh. This episode is another long and soppy end to the saga. I reckon JMS wants to extract as many tears form his devoted fans as possible – and he’s doing a good job!
Read moreBabylon 5 is left in the hands of a new crew. The main characters are dispersed throughout the Galaxy and Sheridan and Delenn have moved the Alliance headquarters from Babylon 5 to Minbar. Everything seems to be tied up nicely – Except for Londo that is.
Read moreThis is the only episode I can’t re-watch. It was, after all, the end of an epic story that gripped from the very first episode. Watching ‘Sleeping in Light’ was, for most of us I think, like saying goodbye to people we had grown to like (and dislike) over the last 5 years.
Read moreGood episode with a stinky ending. Really, I felt like throwing my beer can at the screen.
Read moreThis show was both irritating and magnificent! Aside from the stoopid stand-up gags, this is actually legendary episode in B5 fandom – it’s an excellent concept and very memorable a long, long, time after it was originally shown.
Read moreThis was actually quite a good episode. It had a complicated story line but the acting was good and it was well produced and directed. Londo starts to suspect that all is not right with Centauri Prime.
Read moreTragedy?!! HAH!#
This was a great episode, you begin to feel things hotting up after the lukewarm saga of the telepaths.
When JMS indicated to the B5 newsgroups that we should be patient, this was the episode he was talking about. This is the Babylon 5 we have all come to know and love.
Read moreThis is a wonderful, insightful episode for its political commentary – politics is never deep beneath the surface in The Prisoner.
Read moreThis was a tense opening episode. It introduced new characters and situations.
A cool graphics sequence opens the 5th season of Babylon 5 as the new Commanding Officer of Babylon 5 Captain Lockley, arrives through the jumpgate.
Read moreAnother quite tense episode, a little frightening and also a little bit too close to US formula TV for my liking. Not enough sex, violence and special effects like the last episode, I hope things hot up soon.
Read moreis it me, or is this series starting to get you all worked up too? Things are not too clear, there are many unanswered questions and alliances that should be solid are very fragile indeed. I almost dread seeing the next episode.
Read moreThis has got to be one of the worst Babylon 5 episodes I’ve ever seen. It was co-written by Harlan Ellison and directed by Janet Greek. They both need putting out of my misery in my opinion. This was a good story ruined by poor characterisation and a patronising script.
The show opened well, a deep space probe was destroyed by a group of unknown spaceships. But the probe managed to beam back some info to Babylon 5. Captain Lockley is woken from sleep by Lt. Corwin and informed of the attack.
Read moreThis was a relatively good episode, the storyline was a lot tighter and although it suffered yet again from the introduction of another poor character, on the whole, sci fi SadGeezers should enjoy this one.
Read moreThis is a series overview by Greg “Logan” M.H.M
Read morePretty good I thought. If it had been allowed to air it would have stopped many sci fi geeks like myself wondering if the series would be as crappy as the first episode! In the end, the pilot set the scene very well.
Read moreThe first episode magnificently sets up the situation and tone for the other 16 episodes of this 60’s cult classic. It really is a ripper; action, intrigue, suspense, bouncy balls… And we also get an extended opening sequence not seen in any other episode.
Read moreNot the best of episodes I guess, but there were some good moments and some funny dialogue. Most of us will remember this episode I think, because of Zhaan’s brief absence of clothes.
Read moreSaint Alia of the Knife, sister to the God Paul “Maud-Dib” Atreides is acting regent until Paul’s children Leto and Ghanima are of age to rule…
Read moreA Pretty good opening episode full of nervous apprehension and action. As a pilot show, this had almost everything.
Read moreThe show opens… in Istanbul! Dark-haired girl runs for her life from two guys in dark robes.
Read moreWell, this episode certainly was funny, well acted and depressing as hell. I added 70 points extra for a shirtless Spike.
Read moreThis episode gets some points taken off for having too much demon poetry and making me inappropriately hungry.
