Actually Nox i dont think thats the thing to do… he’d make a great character in the cartoon, you know, the “You’re all doomed” character that no one listens to, which i think is also the correct thing to do on the bored. Ignore him!
He He BlackCloud, i love that one, but instead of beaming them up, they might just lure peeps straight in to the ship itself (hence the malfunctioning “Holodeck”) save rescources? Then we can always have some klingoon rant sci-fi bable at the ships computer, filling up its memory banks, so when those nasty alien types ditch the ship, the puter malfunctions and takes on the form it will have in the series?

Personaly i find troglodytes so much more fun. Sure they may not be reptiles, but anything that models its life on staying in a dark cave with no need for the sunk, has got to be the creature from the animal world that comes closests to a hardcore Sci-Fi geek.
