Strong choice of words when all I wanted to do was refute your exaggeration of Mr. McManus’ choice of going gray..it’s all good he can run around with flaming green hair and he’d still rock the universe.. 😉 Judging from people that got to experience his personal charisma first hand I can tell you five minutes after you talk to him you won’t notice the color of his hair.. 😛

According to sources at the MichaelMcManus.com site Michael went gray very early in this 30’s. If you go back and look at some of his early tv shows and films you will see he has gray hair even in some of those earlier works of his. For example in Hard to Forget, King Lear, Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and even a couple of candid shows in between seasons 2 and seasons 3 of Lexx he was gray haired, he had to keep his hair dyed during the filming of Lexx because his own hair was being woven into the wig *weasel* so the state of his career has nothing to do with his hair. I personally think he looks fabulous in gray hair..Michael can work if he chooses and right now he chooses to look for roles he really prefers.

In the video interview, he talks about acting on stage…to completely empty theatres and/or few performances. The theatre might be where his heart lies, but audiences seem completely disinterested.

What interview were you watching? It just couldn’t have been the latest one done in Orlando..BD is one hard working actor and has done countless movies. Mr. McManus was in a play in Canada for the Caravan Theatre and was quite the hit! Ellen is one very hard working woman as is Mrs. Zentilli! So your talking about how they make ends meet doesn’t make sense..there was a reunion in Orlando and fans were quite estatic to see them again.
As for Mr. McManus doing plays in empty theatres that wasn’t true, what is true is the theatre wasn’t packed to overflowing and he and his troupe did do the entire run only they chose not to do the extension on the plays! As for his hair going gray, well when you start aging you honestly don’t expect it to stay dark forever do you? If you do then you’ve found the secret to long life!

So I read you want to conduct interviews with the cast and just wanted to give you a heads-up you’ll have to ask Beth at Megacon and she will forward the request to the appropriate people but it has to go to her first in order to line up interviews with the cast. Gotta keep it orderly ya know 😀
Yes dear Lexxians there will be another Con that our dearly beloved cast will be attending. Brian Downey, Xenia Seeburg and Michael McManus have signed on to attend Megacon.

Here’s a tidbit to tidy you over..Brian Downey is busy in a movie working with Nigel Bennett! That’s it boys keep busy giving us more and more of your talents that we so enjoy watching!

sure if you’re familiar with any of the history of the people involved.
Suffice it to say, there’s not been any question of pornography,
swearing or anything else in this argument. If you’re making
accusations, then it appears you’re not doing anything to keep this
discussion from getting resolved, in fact it looks as if you’re
deliberately making inflammatory remarks that is just aggravating the
situation. Maybe you should think before you speak. Mod or no mod.If the people that post here get treated with respect, maybe they’d do
the same. But if people get insulted, harrassed or other activities by
mods or whomever, why should they treat you with respect you didn’t

Harry Potter was written for the little one’s..JK Rowlings did intend for it to be read by pre-teens..that was her target audience and anything to get those kids reading is a positive..for an adult it’s to be taken in the context of entertainment….so don’t be to hard on the Harry Potter books..I’m sure if you stepped into a library you’ll find something more to your liking.. 🙂
