    And you people need to go push fer your show;

    Me? Nopearoopa.

I’m singing “Rocking Around the Christmas tree” “have a happy holiday.”

Stop reading this thread you “humps” and start your conversions to the “best show on TV”

Hardly…. but it sounds good with the spin.

Ya know WHY you are tanking; um because you need to write a story; not cut a paste movie scenes which BTW started last season.

So to stroke your fragile egos; you offer a free screening. Um….
not everyone lives in a city setting (thank you Lords of K)

These people have been broken down so much they have no redeeming qualities whatsoevah.

Time to put a bullet in it or write to a higher nature of humanity.

Yeah we’re fecked up, but some of us can go beyond that.

It doesn’t take a Mother Theresa to be a decent person; it just takes practice and patience and a willingness to control one’s tongue.

Ya realize sooner or later that everything you think say and do determines what will happen to you sooner or later.

You want good things to happen, plant good karma FOR ALL, not for those that like or love you but for all; draw together people, not separate them.

These people want security of those who think like them around them; I would rather bypass that to come to an understanding with those that don’t agree.

And it’s a rite of passage to be banned from ass-kisser BB’s like Skiffy?! Did you see their survey? What do you like about the season; no place for negs like the Hero bungle, the New Caprica rush through, and well other silly bits.

The only positives are jake the dog, the oracle ๐Ÿ˜† , the hybrid, the bucket drop, the wacky wheat and Hogan’s good acting skills.

We need a Harlan moment; what do you think Ellison would do; go for ass-kissers and suck-ups or say frack to that BS.

They say continuity is for pussies; I say ass-kissing is for pussies; for sheep; for those that are too weak to think on their own. They will follow anyone with a little power and can (and will) turn on them in a heartbeat.

And the wife ๐Ÿ™„ how does she help this situ? She doesn’t; she wants to push the fact she’s his WIFE! So?Do you have a point to that?

it’s dying because you split the base, lady and you listen only to one side.

How can you be positve when you surgically removed the opposition.

What happens to dictators? They get overthrown don’t they in time?

    Guess what’s going to happen?

You haven’t left yet? What are you waiting for?

If I was running the final five boxed set I’d say that one of the reasons they were boxed is they bred with humans. The result oracles…..they have some capabilities of Cylons but they are so bred with humans they are not detectable.

Hera would be important now because she is like these bagged Cylons but young enough for controlling; thus valuable if trained properly.

The Hybrid is a manufactured cross breed from the Cylons; tamed and trained to do their will.

If the first five models are the original 5 from when the human Cylon machine got cranked up before the war that would be interesting; they were leaders that began the resistence movement to humans; but lets say they left before the First Cylon war or right after the loss. Why? They realized the futility of fighting Mom and Pop.

There was a large schism in the Cylons; some thought the first 5 models too human.

May be they were tossed out because of one god only thinking.

I don’t know I’m too tired to think right now.

I want to wake or unbox one and run with my original idea; or ho hooo! Have the Colonials unbox one. And that Cylon is like letting a genie out of the bottle. He/ she will get them to Earth if she is left in peace.

I still like the idea of the civies shedding both the Galactica and the government and have the battlestar and the other Cylons chase after them for a while. This unboxed beaut leads the other ships and is two steps ahead of both.

The civies get to Earth first; the Cylons and Galactica duke it out in orbit; both destroy each other; canceling each other out.

Life on Earth remains undisturbed; sure some fireworks from the battle but we think it’s sunspots or something.

Bad idea I know, but it changes dynamics. Sure it can be a Caprica- arc like scenario. Put a secondary character on the civilian ships; documenting the whole thing and leaving bread crumbs of info for the fleet to find.

    Just thoughts….

    OOOOOH Question?

Why are 800 some odd people reading this thread.

Go save galactica or some shite like that.

Save a Boxed model Cylon, save the world.

    Just in time for Christmas and boxed before their time;

The Church of the Cylon 5.

    You ARE kidding, right?

Dowl you’ll screw it up; yeesh; if i let you write anything about it; you’ll screw it up.

*massages her temples* or is the massage temples ๐Ÿ˜‰

How do you take a wonderful story and turn it into crap in one season; hell less than a season.

Isn’t there a song by Duran Duran called The Church of the Poisoned Mind or such drivel.

I prefer ” Say a Prayer” or is it called something else you know the video where they shot it Sri Lanka.

“He’s going to screw it up .He’s going to screw it up!” It keeps running through my mind.

Ice planet? You won’t hjave time for an ice planet ’cause it’s a mad rush to Earth before they can your asses. No tourist stops; an express run to Earth.

    a “conditional 4th” is the feel now;

Public face for Skippy suits: “”That’s ridiculous; cancelling our flagship show? That’s crazy!”

Private face:” Look, you had better start putting out; or we’ll put you out. You can’t sell this; we won’t take Caprica.

    And me? ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s not my rep; not my check, not my business.

    Ah freedom!

You see people want a connection with the Law; positive or negative; it’s not you they want to connect with or really even me; but they know connecting with the Mystic Law, on some level is what they desire.

You refuse to take me seriously and insulted me and let others insult me; now I refuse to help you any more; simple.

You can’t lift my ideas if you have nothing to lift, do you?

You may have to ‘gasp’ think on your own! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

So. I’m going to concentrate on other matters Dowl; when you are ready to apologize, and say thank you like a proper person; then we’ll see, but until then…..

    PI$$ OFF!

Oh, and dowl, how do you know i didn’t throw you a curve ball; to check your intentions? You swung like mad and missed.

That I knew this would turn up; that you’d go for the elevation of your name and not for what is right.

Everyone has a price; yours is little statues that proclaim to the worlds i am not a failure. Screw the people that got me here; the poor ignorant unmwashed masses who don’t care if the crap we throw at them is any good.

    Ah, you are wrong.

And the fortune gained from living 100 years can be destroyed with one word. You used that word to distance yourself; to box me in something because your brain cannot comprehend.

So much for out of the box thinking ๐Ÿ™„

And you won’t let go. Yeah, ’cause the ideas are not coming to you on your own.

So try without my intervention; see if you can up the ratings. If you can’t then you will know, well, who’s got some power. I don’t think it’s your wife. She can reaarange furniture but I never see her talk about the show; get on the threads and talk about it.

She pushes the husband is great agenda but honestly she doesn’t care about the show. She cares about the fame and royalty part, but not the show itself. Leech; she is in a world of hunger.

And she feeds your fear. I’m sorry if someone broke into your house before. That is wrong.

Oh, and BTW is it okay if I have to go to CA to see my sister and take care of her or will you have to post guards around your house and work; get a restraining order now in the of chance someone crazy like me might be breathing in your direction while she helps her sister-in-law after her surgery for breast cancer.

Forget the fact that I could care less about the sites and the last thing on my mind is ever getting near you after the stunts you and your wife pulled. i want to be there for her during this period. You think you can step out of your ego-driven world for a minute and not be scared? You won’t even know I’m there, well may be if you are as in tuned as you say you are; a disturbance in the force or some such crap but that’s it.

Yeah, just forget the fact i am a human being and thus have feelings too and that it isn’t all about you.

My sis-in law is my top priority now; not some sci-fi show.

The ratings are down; as per the “wife”. Um…. you’re not doing a good job of directing your husband….

Two words of why Dowl and wife have lost their way; moral ambiguity. They think wrongly that by labeling people (you know trolls, stalkers, crazy) while their livelihood depends on cunning thievery from one of the aforementioned group gets them ratings.

It is morally wrong to take anything from anyone and not give them credit; this man is a thief which makes his wife a thief, which marks his children thieves.

I find it entertaining that their life now depends on a crazy like me; yet they will not acknowledge it; yet watch ,they will be very concillatory next year to whom them labeled.

Crazy but right; the more they deny the worse it gets.

You do NOT want to mess with ME; the wife says….

    ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

As Glinda says to the Wicked Witch of the West

“Off with you…. you have no power here.”

    You leech of your husband’s temporary burst of fame; you create nothing of your own now. And you constantly saying this is my husband;

pathetic… you take feminism back to the ’50’s.

How does one get rid of leeches? Burn them off I guess.

There was the clinking of cutlery and the muted voices all around us as Iflipped open my legal pad and placed it near the coffee mug.

    “Let’s start with you.”

“Me?” choked Dr. Pau as he hastily swallowed a mouth full of eggs.

“Yeah, you. How did you get started in AI?”

“Typical grad scene. I got my PhD in enginnering; teaching jobs are scarce and low paying so when a headhunter came to our department; I jumped at the chance to make some cash and it sounded interesting so I took the bait. That was oh three years ago.”

“When did you meet Dr. Thomalsen?”

“Right after I got there. He was delighted to have me on board; he acted like a father figure to us all.”

    “How many worked with him?”

“Oh, off and on I’d say about a dozen. I was the new kid, even after a year. His closest had been with him for 10 years or more.”

“How much did you know about Ali and her total development?”

“Not much… you see, we all had specializations in AI: mine was basic neuromuscular tasks; you know, holding pencils and such. We were making lots of progress there. We were on the verge on pulling together all the parts to make a prototype when Thomalsen’s wife passed.”

    “And he just disappeared?”

    “Yeah, poof!”

“Didn’t anyone know where he went; your other colleagues?”

“I guess not; though we were constantly questioned by the company men about his wherabouts. They even made us take lie scans.”

“Must have really upset them that he left.”

“No kidding; they were unrelenting for about a year. Then all of a sudden they told Thomalsen’s head researcher to start again. And we did. Our new model was due to come out next year; that is before all the press about the murder rampage of an AI.”

“You know Ali was the one accused of those murders.”

Pau shook his head in disbelief.

“Wai… wai…. wait. Ali killed Dr Thomalsen? There is no way that could happen.”

“Why not? machines malfunction all the time.”

“They have a kill program, it implements when it any human voice says stop. We had that in place from the beginning for safety reasons. They shut off all functions and become catatonic; like you saw today.”

“Is it possible that the kill program could have malfunctioned somehow or got switched off?”

“Yeah I suppose so, but why?”

“That’s a question I’d like to see answered.”

It was 2:17pm when I handed my accoutremants to the unsmiling maton from earlier that morning. She then slid an envelope with my name across the desk to me.

“Oh no,” I moaned and slid it under my arm.

I jogged down the hall; to the exclaims of “watch it” and “jerk” as I pushed others aside.

No remnants of our early morning conversation remained in her once haughty frame.

She was lying on her back on her cot; eyes staring at the ceiling; a glaringly white bandage with an most Rorshachean blot of red on her right temple dominated her very pale face.

    “Ali?”

    The buzz sounded.

    I moved closer.

    “Are you okay?”

No response; no cry of anger or pain; not even a blink.

“Hey, I came as fast as I could.”

I lifted her arm to hold her hand but it was cold and non-responsive. I picked it up and dropped it a couple of times.

Was she dead? Did they kill her?

    No. She was still breathing.

“She’s catatonic. It happens when they experience major trauma. She needs to be rebooted.”

I turned to see a young man in a lab coat, and a clipboard was watching me through the door.

    “And you are?”

” Dr. Michael Pau; Huma/Manager engineering and designer. I’m here to clean up the mess.”

“Do you know who did this?”

“Nope, I only just got here.”

    “Who told you to come?”

“Don’t know. Gotta beep, automated; it said to report here to pick up one of our models and here I am.”

“Are you familiar with this model?”

“Well, you know, you see one meltdown in our business, you’ve seen them all… but.”

He gestures to the guard nearby and the hum sounds.

He moves closer to get a better look.

“Holy shit,,, is this… is this….?”

His eyes rested on her face, moveddown her frame, and back to her face.

“It is Ali!” he exclaimed excitedly.

“So, you know this model? I requestioned impatiently.

“Not specifically, but my mentor designed her. Wow, she’s really something.”

    “Your mentor?”

“Yeah, Dr. Erik Thomalsen. Brilliant man until…..”

    “Until what?”

A shadow fell over the young scientist’s face.

“Until his wife died. She was well loved in our circle of AI geekdom. She always kept us fed and coffeefied; she’d even trim our hair if we didn’t have time to get it cut.
A wonderful lady. She died, oh what was it, two years ago, aneurysm. The Prof took it very hard. One day he was there; next minute he was gone and with him everything about Ali.”

I looked at her and then back at Dr Pau.

How do you know this is the same model that Dr. Thomalsen worked on after his disappearance?”

    “This is his wife.”

I removed my thumb from the keypad and was about to slip on the proffered shades for the retinal flash when a loud beep startled me out of my thoughts and caused my beloved case to slip out of my numb fingers.

From behind me, the sound of shifting impatient feet and an uttered “C’mon, man.”

I quickly lowered my eyes to the visor before realizing I would be seeing floating dots in my vision field for ah hour. I grabbed her sticks and moved off toward a nearby bench. i removed my gloves and placed them on the case and commenced with rubbing my eyes.

    The beep shrilled again.

    I flipped up my PVC.

    “Yeah?”

“Pieter, I’m glad I caught you. Where are you?”

“Near the Center Park Kiosk, why?”

“The courts reversed your motion; something about a public safety issue. There going to pull the files on Ali.”

    “When?”

    “2pm this afternoon.”

” Damn it. DAMN IT! ALL TO HELL!”

    “We can’t get a motion to sto….”

    “I know Margi, I know.”

“What are you going to do?”

” Tell them I’m on my way. No one is allowed to step into that cell without me. You make them understand that if one of them brings that corkscrew near her without my presence they’ll be slapped with a personal injury suit their grandchildren can’t pay off.”

    “Understood.”

I gathered my case and gloves and hailed a cab downtown.

This is the background starting; the death of my interest; but i will perservere…this time.

I fumed while I stood in line at the kiosk to purchased what I hoped to be a peace offering for my “client”.
As a junior member in the Public Defendant department I believed that a high profile case like this would be better than getting office coffee.

Now I was not so sure.

The credo of our group was not to bring our biases to the door; that every person was innocent before proven guilty.

I just had an issue with the person part.

No, It wasn’t that my computer hasn’t lost all my info before; I haven’t burn my mouth on microwaved stale coffee. I had nothing against machines.

But personally I guess I just didn’t want them to be so human.

    But i believed in the credo so absolutely when I took the case; I believed the birds in the trees had rights to freedoms. So what if she was page 1 news all over the country;
and the people polls leaned toward dismembering her or flicking the off switch; she was Ali 1 and deserved a fair trial and i was there to make sure she got it. I would make the most famous opening statement of all time and reduce the prosecutors’ to bumbling idiocy. i would with a few words and glances have the witness admitting they had lied and they weren’t there and the evidence was totally bogus.

Then all of this idealistic dreaming came to a screeching stop.

The evidence was overwhelming; subsequently the motions that followed were equally complex and numerous.

Not only is there a question of the human/not human component; which resulted in lockup and not Ali ending up a pile of parts quickly burned and buried; but in the basic premise if she was property or free. The company funding her research found her to be property; the courts found her humanistic.

This became resolved after a long ardous process led by my firm which consequently they slipped down the ladder to me when the pressures from the aforementioned company and its ties to the government led my firm’s heads into a sticky situation. I mean how does a widely respected firm take the constant heat from such powerful enemies who were and are some of our best clients. Hell, we even got our now foes across the aisle out of some personal castastrophes like too much partying that led to the death of a nobody hooker, or their teenager’s fondness of hacking into banking mainframes.

We were the best when dealing with the individual vs. the world cases.

That is until Ali came unto the scene and my card into her fate came into play.

    I like Bowie too…. some….

but thank goodness you are here; I got tired of my own blither blather….

music for me is poetry in notes; love the notes, love poetry; love music….. it’s akin for me in wearing the metal cone from like that movie “signs” with Gibson; it blocks out unmanted blither blathering of others

My “80’s relook continues with Roxette’s “It Must Have Love” and well ABBA” Waterloo”… I know lamo, ABBA and all that…. but I like them sometimes… you know Fernando and etc…

I had a weekend of sea-connected movies. I watched Poseidon; don’t bother… Annapolis…. something about sailor whites man that can make a girl’s heart beat a little faster…. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I like the fact that sailors are gone for a long period of time…..’cause to have them underfoot would get on my nerves; men should just put into port about once or twice a month and then ship off. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ And be with other guys; sure write all the letters ya want but leaves of twice a month on non-PMS times are all my stamina can allow.

And the last was kind of sea related but earth related; The Inconvenient Truth….. that was the eye-opener for me.

More Buddhist reasoning to explain my pain….

” Arrogance and greed are intimately related Tagore (an Indian poet) said ‘the more avaricious they become, the less they hesitate to belittle their fellow men.”

Also “where cooperation is lacking, there is suffering, malice, falsity,
barbarity, and strife. The Buddhist teaching of many in body but one in mind” is the supreme principle of cooperation”

Both of these are from a speech of Daisaku Ikeda WT article Dec. 1.

I know this; I once was arrogant and looked down on others but corrected my trajectory. I know i hurt others in that arrogance and i now am very sorry; I cannot repair all i have done but i try and carry the message in my heart now.

    I’m human; I get angry.

But then i remember the line “many in body’ one in mind….

It begins with basically to transcend all differences between each other and be as fish and the water in which they swim.

It does not mean to give up our individuality; or be Borg or Cylon downloads only; it means that in our interactions with others we realize the differences between us, yet we move beyond them with our intelligence and wisdom; we realize ALL people are worthy of respect…. and as another article in WT says

“to discard attachments that stand as walls between oneself and others; for example the urge to judge others in terms of social status, wealth, appearance or likes and dislikes.

Or as it applies the likes and dislikes of the current season of BSG.

To look at it another way…..hmmmmm….. there is an unseen trend in people to try to build security around them by removing anything different or what can be perceived as hostile because it does not fit in their realm of “right, or normalcy”.

    So they use very base way of clearing away those that oppose their views but frightening dehumanizing tactics; ridicule, deceit, slander….. Little do they realize that security is a delusion;

There is no security; no safety….

And… by pushing away others different than oneself , you enter the cycle of false arrogance- greed for more.

Your growth as a person stagnates.

I mean I don’t see eye to eye on a lot of issues of today’s society; call me crazy (and you will and have ๐Ÿ˜› ) but at least I can carry on a conversation with most people without having them kiss my feet.

I don’t need nor want those kind of accolades at all for a majority of them are not sincere.

Give me a tiny amount of sincerity over tons and tons of false comments and support any day.

Give me a “good job” from a regular person not attached to power or fame who knows me and knows what I went through then a million “You’re the best” from the “in” crowd.

Another quote….”to be praised by fools is the greatest shame.”

And what is more foolish than slander of a person unknown to oneself except for on a message board?

How foolish is someone who uses power to: not for good like joining fans and healing wounds, but to drive further wedges between them in the name of security? What security?

I did troll, I was not proud of it; I also got thrown off boards but I refused to compromise my belief in “all humans are equal and kissing celeb ass is a bad thing to do; it cheapens your value as an important member of the human family by saying”I’m not worthy; you are more important than me” and it leads the idol they worship to false beliefs about themselves which leads them to demanding more obeisance. It ends horribly with both parties miserable.

    So much useless suffering.

When I think about what happened yesterday on the boards and how the culprit who created out when scott free but now wants to bury it ; it just makes me sick at heart.

I mean to remove a moderate faction of the fandom and replace it with shipper threads.

I just hurts to watch this fandom tear itself to shreds and the unneccesary suffering caused by someone who should know better.

And these people. they don’t have to watch the show but they do because, they too believe in it deep down yet they get suckered punched by the lead celebrity on the board and the rest of her supporters kick them to the ground.

How can you write a show about the intricacies of being human; this is not humane; this is not right….

I think I’m going to shed a few more tears than the T woman will over what she instigated and how pointless it really was.

She has no credibilty in my eyes from now on.

I never want to hear her on a podcast again, in fact I’ll never listen to them again; I’m going to watch movies and do some writing.

“Plato, for example, demoted his poets and artists down to the sixth circle of reality, because, he said, they deal only with appearances and not with reality itself….”

(Plato) “described what he called the true artists- namely, those who give birth to some new reality. These poets and other creative persons are the ones who express being itself, he held.

I think you can keep BG and the character development; at least you can be entertained with Heroes; with moralizing Adama and moralizing podcasts to back them up; it’s a snorefest…

I can be really guilty about soapboxing like the best of them but then I don’t run a show trying to attract viewers.

BG so needs tolerance with direction; a belief in the refusal to divide a fanbase because of personal bias; rising above the melee to create something worthwhile; to be strong enough and have faith enough in the product not piss and moan at those that reiterate the same negativity ad nauseum because they feel they are not being heard and actually were told they are not being heard (stupid mistake)

That type of silliness is a call to trolls; and really the polarization in this fandom is of the developers and their ancillary families’ own doing; it’s been brewing for a time; now it came to a head. What did you expect?

I say I sit comfortably on the fence about BSG, and to check the real effect of ratings I propose to those on sci-fi upset about the show; let’s boycott it. You can tape (just tape no TIVo for ratings number) the rest but do not watch the 1st run of it.

See how low it can go…. then that frees up time for the holidays; avoids infighting and may give you a fresh perspective on the whole thing.

I’m boycotting the show until sometime next year; if my VCR misses an ep I will not chase it down

Let the okayers have a day, but then watch how quiet and boring the Skiffy board will get.

    Oh and my quote….

“When the founding spirit of an organization is forgotten, cliques and factions emerge, power struggles proliferate, and disorder reigns.” Josei Toda

I’d say the founding spirit of BSG has been forgotten or pushed aside by influential people (like wives) with their own agendas. This spouse stands in the way in the authentic flow between fans and the shows’ top brain trusts. They was such a naturalness to it before; now its tainted by her biases and other “influentials”

” Honey, THESE are the people to listen to; not THOSE… THEY are trolls or crazy or stalkers or heaven knows what else.” THESE people LOOVE your work and are so wonderful because they love me and they appreciate me.”

    ooh and another one

” Why did the Roman Empire collapse?”According to the French writer Andre Maurois, as soon as Rome ceased to respect the values it was built on, it perished.” Daisaku Ikeda

One of the values that has been tossed aside is the equal treatment of all TNS fans; now it’s factions and cliques; each tearing each other apart instead of transcending their differences and healing rifts.

Have a crazeee day everyone!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

I guess it truly shows that I just don’t care about this show anymore which is a freeing experience for me! Agan i tried listening to the roundtable and I kept going backwards and forwards and could not keep my interst up so i finally shut it off.

I thnk that means I’m shutting the whole thing out of my mind and ready to move on to other thoughts.

Like on the edge on unexplored space; it’s exciting to me; what next show will catch my interest; what new ideas will flood through my nutter brain; I’m giddy with the thought and so relieved.

It was fun Dowly but the party’s over. Good luck there; and um I feel sorry for your .8; but it’d just a show, right? You can snap your fingers and get any gig you want, right? You’ll find true happiness without working on this, correct; just hangin’ at home with the wife, right?

Get used to it; no longer 95% at home but a 100% and um…. you know it’s kinda funny that fame thing how it dries up quickly once the magic leaves. And a quick dive when you hurt someone that tried to help you; you are a common thief and not an upstanding person like i once thought. Now don’t get me wrong; i don’t hate you or the show; I’m indifferent now; it’s just a show.

No spring revivval for me, I took the other fork at the crossroads and you cannot come.

Thanks for listening; have a good life.

It was a better ep but then we got to the Adama speech; um…. don’t know why kinda unclear on why that would suck the life out of the grudges; letting members of families go is the mark of true love; because you must let peeps find their own way and their own voice in this world; not coddle them not abandon them but be close enough to let them make the falls and help them back up, then they try and fall, you help them back up.

Otherwise, they resent you. Um… if Adama would be a hard-ass about not letting Cally and Tyrol (which by the way is the cheesiest fake grin for a couple i have ever seen in the media) muster out; they might, in the long run resent him, thus bad feelings. New Caprica was a bad choice but like Roslin said, for a moment it was a good choice.

You have to have calms before storms to rest between battling the problems in our lives; we have to have these “stop and smell the roses” moments. Otherwise life becomes series of heartbreaking moments surronded by numbing boredom.

We all have been there; knowing a loved one is making a bad choice, trying to explain to why it’s a bad choice but deep down you know you have to let them try or it would break their heart and spirit.

It hurts… really hurts; you want to rush in and save them but you know they would end up resenting your interference. And they wouldn’t listen anyway, Sound familiar? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anywho, I’m not getting the “getting too soft” moment of the speech… is it a direct correlation to Tyrol not pushing his guy to work and that more discipline about work needs to be pounded into these New Caprica returnees? Was it a comment about the whole fraternizing and sloppiness in his misfit outfit that Cain alluded to?

I get the bloody Adama thing, you make wrong decisions in power; you get the crap kicked out of you and people die; lives are destroyed; this is the fantastical “good leader” dream. “If you cut one of us, do i not bleed; type scenario which i believe in a roundabout way.

I guess i don’t think it is too clear ๐Ÿ˜ˆ May be I’m reading too much into it but it sounds like I’ll never let my “family” stray too far from me again; that given the same scenario again I would not let them try for a new life. Yeesh….. tha’d be a really bad move.

Again, it’s not too clear, but worth the few fog clearing love taps on Tyrol; loved it, loved it ;LOVED it!!!!

Besides Cally is getting obnoxious and airheady… may be having kids do that to a woman.

The Adama Roslin thang would have to grow on me; and well the Lee/Kara match was oh entertaining enough, and the intercuts interesting, but well together it worked they really made that part pop; that two people who care deeply for each other and can hurt each other just as deeply- this is just a physical manifestation of deeper inner pain of being punched and kicked around by the other.

I was glad to see them finally resolve the when they had good sex moment…. and the tension building so now may be they can truly care for each other; not neccessariy in a sexual, loving way like most couples dream of; but in a “I know you, I know you hurt me and i hurt you but you add so much value to my life that life without you in some fashion is intolerable.” The moment you realize that no matter how a person in your life has treated you; that you want them to be a part of your life in some way. That somehow the sky is less bright without them. You know sometimes you’ll hate them or be angry with them, or ignore them, or take advantage of them, or denigrade them, but other times your very breath is only them; and they would be your brightest and only star in the heavens; you would give up everything to keep this one human being, near you and happy and healthy.

It is both of these extremes and everything in between; it simply loving another human being.

It’s knowing that through it all; they would remain your greatest friend; and you theirs.

I can say that i have been blessed with loving a few people on this planet like this… even just one of them has blessed me immeasurably.

Thank you universe for the love I had; for the loves I have now in my heart and the love yet to come!

OMG, OMG OMG ! This show is the best show on TV now! Do not be fooled by petty imitations and media hype.

It’s tight story writing, it’s full of suspense; it’s got little carrots of metaphysical dangling for lovers of those thought processes like me.

It speaks to all people; not just the writers niche, or his wife or his dog, etc…. ordinary people get to be heroes …. like Hiro. LOVE that character.

The biggest draw is the what if factor (more than Skiffy ever did) what if there are ordinary people that can do extraordinary things! It’s hopeful and full of wonder though it has its bad boys.

    Pfft…. military sci-fi show buh…bye…

What are you willing to sacrifice if it is not; that is how I’d do it; these writers are not going out on a limb, not going to break new ground now unless you sweeten the pot.

I would give them a 1/2 season of 4; you bring in numbers again and get critical praise you get the rest plus we’ll give you a piece of the new media pie

“shakes head in disbelief” that was so, so last year…..

Let me tell you these, are, like my brother says, glaze painters on pottery. Anything sci-fi does has been molded and fired already, nothing of creativity remains but painting it.

All of these shows are not creatively taking a bold leap but somone painting something old with a new glaze.

And they pay people lots of money to do the reglaze a pot already cast and fired.

I say if it is true, that these are the “best shows on TV they can stand a little more fire… and come out beautiful. Don’t pussy-foot around with their slots, put them head to head with those shows that pull ratings….

Prove to me it is the best ya got.

No, of course not… it’s all hype, smoke and mirrors and stroking of egos while paying them huge sums.

If writers strike, it may let air into this stagnant room of glazers; hmmm….

I want to see proof of the words spoken; otherwise they are liars backing liars.

I can’t say the whole BSG is a waste … my faves have to be now the closing animations; at least you can laugh at them.

The whole fight is getting so silly; the Skiffy BB’s have the age old fight of trolls, misnomered trolls, fanboys, noobs and yes a producer ‘s wife wondering why everyone is soooo negative.

Ummmm… because the material this season is dark… darkness attracts darkness and negativity.

You create it, then you whine about it.

Now I won’t put on my happy face for a season I’m not thrilled at but there are a few but far between bright spots.

The development of Tigh as a character…

    Jake the dog….

An oracle, a hybrid, beings of light and kewl chaise lounges.

    Bulldog is pretty hot….

The lion’s head nebula was nifty and the bucket drop Adama maneuver….

    Helo’s speech for tolerance….

I miss some of those moments in Season 1 like Adama will not give up the search for Starbuck; Oh hell i don’t know I guess i miss just when everyone isn’t so screwed up and wrapped up with their personal demons; or they put them aside to help another fellow Colonial.

I miss the mystical kind of hand that dealt the Cylons a good card and then the Fleet a good card.

    SO I’m not a complete neg Nancy… hmmph ๐Ÿ˜€

When’s the Rocky 2 moment? I guess next week with boxing; but I mean when we do finish delving into the characters oh so many flaws and turn upside; like they may do something right, and bright and hopeful as screwed up as they are?

You start doing this, then negativity may also be lessened.

Life is imperfect for us imperfect beings but once in a while we do something right.

To heck with all this fussin’ and feudin’ anyway ๐Ÿ˜†

We’ll all be dead in 50 or so years anyway; and the youth will be fighting about something else entirely as life begins anew.

Whether this show lasts two more months or 2 more years really does not matter; all things have and follow a natural progression of birth or beginning, growth, maturity, decline and death to begin the cycle anew again.

Why should shows be any different?

So we disagree on the stage of it; you say growth or maturity; i say maturity was reached and now decline is imminent.

You say potatoe I say potato…..

You and i will both watch and hopefully with others as well.

I’m not going to argue about numbers sweetie, that was the premiere; of course it will do well after 10 months of nothing. it’s the subsequent ratings that are dropping off and the fact that this premiere has done less than other season premieres like Season 1 or Season 2. I can see why it’d be higher than season 2.5; they had some serious clankers in that 1/2 of a season.

You can listen to sci-fi spin all you want but on the whole there was a 29% drop since the beginning of all of this. That’s nearly a third of the audience. What happened? They didn’t really change the date and time much and it is an ongoing show so it would have a built in audience that follows it; but as you can see their core audience are also being sucked away slowly.

I, like you, would like this to remain a couple of more seasons but not at the price of overused plot devices, and sloppy storytelling.

The problem is I KNOW they can tell a good story, I’ve seen it.

Did you watch the mini; season 1, season 2, i mean all the way through?

I mean plot lines were dropped here and there but now it’s all the time now. It’s not tightly scripted as it once was.

Compare let’s say Act of Contrition to The Farm. The raider was used in subsequent eps; the egg harvesting was used slightly in Exodus but it was a mind frack? Where the hell are these eggs and why take them? And why do that ep at all except to have Anders and Kara hook up and now it’s unhooked in a few looks and lines?

Hmmmm; what about Scar? They mined all this tyllium; where’s the extra Vipers or new raptors or the beginnings of structures or industry? Why tents? And why did Tyrol have a speech about striking when we saw no one working?

In fact they had two mining eps one in season 1 (Hand of God) and one in season 2 Scar; where is all this metal? Or ore?

In this ep Adama felt guilty about his belief that his secret ops mission started the war. he gets a medal for it; that’s convenient.
It’s a pretty important development in the character of Adama, yet now we find out? Too pat. Baltar’s been living with that crazieness for seasons and Bill Adama sheds a tear over it just now? This is not a repressed memory, they didn’t hypnotise him; he knows how the Colonists treated Cylons, in fact the “Caprica” storyline is gonna tell ya he’s known this since babyhood. he knew when he had the speech in the mini about “running away from the things you’ve done” Hasn’t he? No, they used it to explain his softening for Cylons this season; his re-instating Athena, etc…. and to introduce Bulldog who did a good job but really, no one questioned his escape from the Cylons after 3 years until Starbuck looked at the tape?

And speaking of Cylons what about the Cylon testing; Baltar was working on it, but Doc Cottle can somehow magically whip in an 8 track and proclaim Bulldog has the same blood before he got caught. And he escaped with nothing…. um do they have a record of all blood types of every person ever enlisted and why would it be on the Galactica, a tired rust bucket going to be decommissioned.

These are a few of the many.

I don’t know what is worse at this time; and are you asking me to choose? To admit i loved the original BSG also even though it was cheesy and unreasonable like the Casino planet ep right after the destruction of the Colonies; or to admit that even though this re-imagining started so well, it now is getting very unbelievable as well.

I believe the latter cuts deeper for me because i’ve seen better writing in this series; with the former you knew it was cheesy and entertaining; the latter is not all that entertaining for this season and has grievious errors in inconsistency that give TOS cheesiness a run for its money.

Will i watch it, yes, will it matter whatever i say, probably not. One voice in billions on this planet. But if you go to skiffy you will see i’m not the only one who cries foul, and like a few I’ve watched the re-imagining from the beginning.

I keep hoping for that ZOWEEE ep of the season; many have already exclaimed this is the best over previous eps of this season. Unfortunately I’m not like many others, running through the revolving door of entertainment. Are we a nation of attention deficient citizens:living only in the minute and world of the now? i swear that is what these writers are banking on now. I have a memory; I can remember past the last ep, or season.

Some claim this best so far in the re-imagined universe. I cannot concur.

I just picked up “Dark City”

Great choice Nick Z; like that flick a lot! I also enjoyed the movie Brazil greatly.

I don’t know; what scares me more than the gore of horror films and the lack of oirginal sci-fi is the remake factor. Why do something that has been done well before?

There are so many ideas for new sci-fi floating around in books and no one makes those. I, too am tired of the teenage date scare movies; I want to see something that is different. I don’t mind if the movie spawns a gaming following; I don’t want it to come from a game.

And um, drive-ins are long gone but they were fun…. ๐Ÿ˜€ You get a big car, shove as many kids into the parent’s boat as possible and pay one fee, clip the mike on the visor and bring your own snacks and well voila’ entertainment.

That’s probably why drive ins went out of style.

I’m beginning to feel sorry for you alnexi, you should take a girl to a horror flick and try it out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I loooved him in the Enterprise Incident; I wanted to be the Romulan commander; her uniform has a portion attached to her hand; I loove my sweaters like that ,and well she’s sexy and smart and powerful!

Do doddee dodo, singing New york new York… don’t know why.

You know what i think is hilarious? Now some writer’s wife is calling herself a muse ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜†

And ya wonder why the ratings are falling!

She too square to be a muse; all my high school reunion crap; wives are too square to be effective muses; that’s why hubbies go to Vancouver for freedom, yeah. Think about it, in this very tech world why leave the States when daliles can be shipped overnight?

Look, wives #1 are good for grounding, they keep the bills paid, the electricity on, your shirts clean and your kids managed but it is rare that they can inspire great works to boot. Many times their call is opposite of a true muse and in that tension between mundane and chaos is where art is created.

If only i could find the househusband grounder I’ve searched for all my life; ๐Ÿ˜ˆ you know grounded but open enough to give me Breathing room; i so need breathing room, that’s why I can’t be a traditional wife and i respect those that do the job and do it well.

But if a grounder is a muse on an imaginative show, there is no imagination.

I actually have strep throat after weeks of fighting bronchitis because i won’t slow down and rest. Too much is going on locally and in other “realms” ๐Ÿ˜› . The usual waking states are miserable but the DREAMS are incredible! And of course i must sleep more (my honey of a hot Dr tells me I have to do this)

Last night I dream of BSG. Everyone from the show was wandering through my childhood home like gray ghosts, doing their part, (like on the set?) but nothing significant. I was sitting on my porch with some lemonade (it must have been summer because it was warm) when Bamber emerged from greyness to sit on a chair beside me. I got up to leave. He asked me to stay and talk to him.

    I nodded and said nothing.

He spoke of wanting to leave and to try the world outside the realm. i smiled and nodded in encouragement but said nothing.

He wanted a connection and he asked me to help him. I shook my head and then spoke.

“I’m not your connection,” I said.

He seemed okay with that but confused and slightly sad.

I apologized but told him the connection i had with this was fast becoming a shadow and that he and others should look for a new link to help them through, but i also told him he has some “seeds” of thinking that he must allow to germinate and then the steps to further insight will come; and to relax because for some it takes years and lifetimes for understanding, but he was on his way.

I also told him to look to whom he places trust in for those you trust without knowing their real capabilites will lead him down wrong paths. You know the warning of false prophecy and following blindly someone who uses others for personal gain are not true leaders, etc…etc… etc…

I told him to tell his leader that i will never bow to his queen (she is like Morgan of Arthurian times and thus not a true seer)and that time will reveal how well he used an opportunity given to him. Yes, leaders have accumulated the good fortune to be leaders in their realms but it is castle bulit on shifting sands: the wind of change is blowing his sand away. I reassured him I still cared but i could not become involved in any further ventures with these people; and i must remain neutral as much as it may hurt me to do so. i mean. who wants to see something falter, the destructive part of life, but you know it MUST be.

With that he got annoyed and then he just flew away…

and I finshed my lemonade and flew away in another direction leaving the rest as shadows.

Illness is a part of life, just as death is so i just will work this out of my system just like the bronchitis, and well I’ll try to slow down; the operate word is TRY.

To each his/her own. i can’t get hyped up about a group of writers sitting in a room that actually had to have a discussion about whether genocide is acceptable or not. And they want to write about humanity? That’s screwy.

And um what did torturing Baltar teach us about torture being ineffective? That abdominal thrusts from a hot blonde drives them a way? Ooookay……. ๐Ÿ™„

Are you going to use the old line about “if you don’t like it, don’t watch it?” Yeah, i think that is going around a little too much. that is what’s happening and the numbers of new fans are not replacing the fans leaving.

That revolving fan door policy doesn’t work well here when no one is coming in the door.

I stick with it ’cause i have hope that possibly one day it will get better, the good storytelling will return, the ideas will be actually be fleshed out.

And i may not agree all the time, but I’m loyal. The mini-series and Season 1 and scatterd eps like Peggie earned my loyalty but my excitement waxes and wanes unfortunately with the quality of the show.

Now, if you will excuse me i have a Neil Gaiman book to consume and sleep, glorious sleep! I love my bed…. ๐Ÿ˜†

I did feel like this, about it being re-imagined, the operative word is did.

And i, just like other fans of the the re-imagined BSG, are leaving, or at least not watching with the breathless anticipation like we once did.

You can see this in it’s declining ratings every week, like the life being drawn out of it.

I”m not saying this to be a thorn but to get you and others to face some facts.

The very positive points this show gave us are now burying it.

I’m saying if it is tied to the military exclusively, that gets old, the politics, old hat…. We’ve seen all of this torture and interogation before. Why must i see it again? Oh, they used a machine this time and not a bucket… so? It’s still the same thing.

Every character is so gun-ho on letting us see their flaws, that we forget the other half of them you know the strengths that make us better humans?

Hell I even dislike both Roslin and Adama now. i never did that before. I root more for the Cylons than the fleet because the fleet is becoming like the show “seinfeld” …..mean-spirited.

yeah, a world full of people caught up in meaness and the minutae of their lives… yipee! i just can’t wait to bring more children into this world! (sarcasm)

I think it’s lazy storytelling to rely on other movies or other shows to write the current show. They are using ST TNG filler and next their stars? Cripes in a handbasket.

Anything remotely new, original, or interesting is glossed over or pushed aside to get back to your JAG on space. So they could have Adama ride in with his boys and save them.

I know I’m not talking a guy language, because you can watch some pretty silly stuff that bores me to tears: fishing shows, and wrestling, and some sports, and that an occasional flesh-bot showing some flesh makes your skivies a little tight; and that’s even okay with me. We ladies like Bamber in his towel or Baltar with is hairy legs (Although I’m not a fan of either, really I have a particular type i am attracted to and it’s not any male on this show but i cannot begrudge what popular opinion says is beautiful) but if this rehashing of the New reimagined ideas with the constant need to throw in sex to buoy it up, this show is on its last legs creatively.

May be it will continue in name and eps made but it will have lost it’s heart and soul, or more accurately sold out to its critics for the praise.

It is quite sad; it had potential…. now it’s like any other show on the networks today. It could have been a gem, now it’s a common stone.

RIP my beloved Galactica of mini and Season 1. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

If your true intent is to really pull off new ideas, Dowl, and keep an audience long enough through 2 more seasons i suggest you go away BY YOURSELF and let the ideas flow in and out and then when you get an idea ,follow through with it; anything that remotely resembles what you covered before should be tossed out at the get go with the rare and i do mean rare exception of a continuation of one of many ideas you glossed over or half-assed touched on.

I mean c’mon the good stuff is thrown in as afterthought to rush back to your beaten path. The Helo thinking in this ep, the Oracle, the hybrid, all different, hell the New Caprica arc is all a ruse to get you where you want to go which is back to military, you want to go back to sex, you want to go back to moral issues and yet you don’t take the time to explore them with the excuse is we’ll run it up the flagpole and you want us (the viewers) to talk about it.

    We did, 2 years ago.

For example, ya stayed on that asteroid to get metal for ships in “Scar” where’s the new vipers? Hmmm?

You are so eager to high tail it back to the familiar and safe that your audience is running away from your show and if you move the day and time of it that’s the death knoll waiting to strike.

It’s lazy storytelling; with very little creativity.

Please tell me you have very little to do with your new show, you are letting the new guy do it; because now the creative muse is spitting in your face and exclaiming” WTF is this crap!” ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Go, be alone, and take a pen and paper. You won’t regret it.

I listen to the podcasts ahead of time and well, I’m annoyed verging on POed.

    So Spoilers are coming*

This showrunner has the memory of a gnat and I’ll tell you why.

1.) Why the Kara/Leoben scene is old hat; and why any torture scene is old story ideas recirculating with new characters.

Um, season 1, a whole ep of it and consequently a Tyrol smack by Tigh, etc…. etc…. in Season 2.

Clear the air in your puny head and the writer’s room and maybe you live up to the touted idea of the “best show on TV”. I would pundit (big word little Dowl) was WAS the “best show on TV.” It might be best if you didn’t watch season 1.

2.) The much described “aha” moment that says God is indescribable in man’s language. That’s been around thousands of years, did you ever take a religion 101; it’s all there.

It proves it takes a good 6 months to filter into his conscious thought, and some else has to tell it to him first. ๐Ÿ™„ And in moments while watching crap on TV late at night. You know that if you put crap in you get crap out. You know that show about runway models; crap. Don’t know don’t care about that constant renewable source of living by only the body.

Which takes us back to “The Courage to Create” Rollo May.

On pg 9 and pg 10; he talks about part of his theories about what types of courage we need to create.

I quote….from the third paragraph about social courage

“A common practice in our day is to avoid working up the courage required for authentic intimacy by shifting the issue to the body making it a matter of simple physical courage. It is easier in our society to be naked physically then to be naked psycholgically or spiritually- easier to share our bodies than our fantasies, fears, hopes, and aspirations, which are felt to be more personal and the sharing of which is experienced as making us more vulnerable. ”

He continues “Hence people short-circuit the more “dangerous” building of a relationship by leaping immediately into bed. After all the body is an object and can be treated mechanically.”

“But intimacy that begins and remains on the physical level tends to become inauthentic, and we later find ourselves fleeing from the emptiness.”

He goes on… and talks about death fear which is not fear of physical death and its opposite. I’ll paraphrase it for you Dowl since your attention span is short. It’s basically describing a stuggle which you can relate to on some level.

You love someone and that’s marvelous but what is happening is what i phrase the ‘rubberband effect’ You want to be close to this person but you do not want to be a reflection of them nor do you want them to reflect you, because after a while that partner becomes another you and that’s boring so when there is too much you that you see in your partner, you pull away. You smoke and drink, and do anything to reaasert you are a separate person from her. She is basically insecure so she tries to pull you back by arguing, bouts of immature jealous behavior and snipping at perceived threats form others.

You should learn that not only is there many ways of interpreting God, there are many ways to love. No one person has the corner on completely giving you all you need as much as you or she would like that to be. They can try but they can’t. You must realize this and bring it to your conscious level and then explain it to her.

We get love and acceptance and inspiration from many people in our lives, some we actively seek like our friends and family and peers, others we do not. To try to “corner” the market in this department of love an acceptance is ridiculous and if you give into her and what is comfortable your spirit which seeks this communion with places she and they can’t go… (yet) will definitely atrophy and may even die. It’s the old adage of use it or lose it.

You must let her know that you need this nourishment too, outside of her arms, outside of your circle of family and friends and co-workers: creativity steps outside of the known to the unknown.

You lost this need or want to step into the unknown and thus the work suffers, you compensate by applying booze. You say it’s a way to destress, i see it as a way to deaden yourself enough to let other ideas in you don’t dare let go in the conscious mind for fear of reprisal. It’s convenient to blame the firewater. Give yourself permission to do it without booze thus save your liver.

But you know I’m that crazy chick; I don’t know anything ๐Ÿ˜›

I.m an ’80’s girl, why lie about it?

INXS “New Sensation” and “Suicide Blonde”; “Orange Crush” REM, Under the Milky Way Tonight. by Church

    lyrics to the last:

“Sometimes when this place gets kind of empty,
Sound of their breath fades with the light.
I think about the loveless fascination,
    Under the milky way tonight.

Lower the curtain down in memphis,
Lower the curtain down all right.
I got no time for private consultation,
    Under the milky way tonight.

Wish I knew what you were looking for.
Might have known what you would find.
Wish I knew what you were looking for.
Might have known what you would find.

    And its something quite peculiar,
    Something thats shimmering and white.
Leads you here despite your destination,
    Under the milky way tonight
    (chorus)
    Under the milky way tonight.”

    and to “Orange Crush”

    Rem – Orange Crush Lyrics
    Follow me, don’t follow me
I’ve got my spine, I’ve got my orange crush
    Collar me, don’t collar me
I’ve got my spine, I’ve got my orange crush
We are agents of the free
I’ve had my fun and now its time to
Serve your conscience overseas (over me, not over me)
    Coming in fast, over me

    [repeat verse]

    High on the roof,
    Thin the blood,
Another one on the waves tonight,
    Comin’ in, you’re home

We’d circle and we’d circle and we’d circle to stop and consider
    and
Centered on the pavement stacked up all the trucks jacked up
    and
Our wheels in slush and orange crush in pocket and all this here
    county
Hell any county it’s just like heaven here and I was remembering
    and I
Was just in a different county and all then this whirlybird that
    I
Headed for I had my goggles pulled off I knew it all I knew
    every back
    Road and every truck stop

So the spin is the time they decided to start the season? Ummm… not entirely. If, like me, you did your civic duty and voted you see that the American people want change. This show is heavily military and heavily political. A change in status quo is the change in this popular ideal of story arcs.

A lot of response to anything different; like the Hybrid, yeah of course because in these arcs they fall back on, were and are, overused and there are ideas that do create interest but they are rushed through on a conveyer belt.

They reached a comfort level of writing and do not want to stray from it. Huge mistake.

20% is a drop boys and girls; no matter how Skiffy spins that sucka.

You see, common people can have a voice, if we stick together; no matter what those suits say or those with a vested interest in the show whom to me are worse than bean counters at a network.

You may say that posting on a board means nothing to you as a network or a producer but at some time, when the chips are down you will cater to fans and eat your words…

Or you’ll have to find another show.

Take the blinders off, and truly look at what’s going on right in front of you.

It may be the best OCT Skiffy ever had, well look at their programming history; how much better does it have to be to beat out Killer Bees. ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜†

Now I’m going back to election results and reading a good book.

And um, the new spin-off, think about what you have made before you make something totally different; you’ll have to put in the religious part of this and daily life should be interesting enough to set it apart from Eureka. You don’t want 2 of those, do you?

I’d give you some tips but it’s all about you Dowl ๐Ÿ™„ ,

subconscious my arse, you couldn’t tap your subconscious with hammer! Why? Surburban…. comfortable…. and a killer of your own truth-seeking; well with some help from others in your environs.

That’s enough…. I don’t want to talk about it anymore.

Dowl, hon, just make you know some top notch physicians (surgeons)and centers for treatment of rare oncological disorders, you or some one you know will need this info sooner than later.
And save your cash, you’ll need it.

    Sorry, about that bonnee….

Are ya going to do Hero casting? C’mon! Do it!

Hmmmmm… I think it may be time for me to let whom RDM gives power over us (like his writers, his wife, all his little pets…) to fly solo for a while… test his wife’s claim of her own crystal ball about the future of the show be tested.

Let her do what i do for a while, hell let them all do what i do for a while and see where it gets you.

I’m all for that; you think you are big and bad with your great superior show, and critical acclaim.

No more responses, no more chances. You do it, you do it alone.

And um good look with that block coming.

Remember this: for you and your ilk:

“of foremost importance are the people- NOT celebrities, the powerful, the RICH, scholars or others whom society deems great or praiseworthy. the purpose of all must be the happiness of the people. Everything else should be but a means to THAT end. Those that fail to recognize this fundamental point and look down on people (AD) and exploit them (the writers) are thoroughly vile and contemptible; they are a hindrance to people’s happiness.”

    Daisaku I keda

Good luck with that 4th season ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Everytime I watch this show i am intrigued. That Nicky chick was the most boring part of it tonight; but well the ending line about Heroes determining who in this world will help you and those you move out of the way is priceless. It’s kinda like that ehole thing about determining why a person is in your life. Are they there for a reason, a season or a lifetime. A reason is of course they are there for a reason. A season is for when they help you get through a portion of your life, and a lifetime is of course a lifetime.

I watch 3 shows now MWF. In order of preference now, Heroes, then Lost and then for sentimental value BSG.
