I’m tempted to vote in the affirmative for the makeover. There is alot that could be improved, but I agree that the old original Planet Killer was the best. I think I’ll wait for the first few eps to be released before I say one way or another.
Hey gang: Have a look see at these two You Tube sites for a sampling of what might be in store for the “enhanced” Trek. These are samples from “The Doomsday Machine”. I don’t know which or if either of these versions are what will end up being used.

They even had beer packaged as Romulan Ale that they were selling in the gift shop. They were pushing it pretty hard as there were several large displays of cases of the stuff. I would have bought some but they were charging $14.99 a six-pack!!! At that price, it had better come from Romulus.

But seriously, the bartender at Quark’s said the bottled Ale wasn’t nearly as good as the draft version sold behind the bar.

FYI: Forever Knight fan Gwenn Musicante has SELF published an excellent guide: “Forever Knight: A Reference Guide”. It’s actually well written and well put together with her own cast and crew interviews, episode info, and list of sites in Toronto where the series was filmed. I would say that if your local dish service carries your local channels AND if you have a UPN affilliate then you’re in luck! Just when I was all set to jump back in here ….. well, on Wednesday evening I was attacked and robbed by a couple of guys near a bank cash machine, as I was walking home after seeing some friends. My jaw was broken in three places, and pretty badly. One will require peeling part of my face back for access to the break. I’ll be going into hospital sometime later today or tonight for surgery… I’m waiting for the call right now. Titanium plates will be attached to the breaks to hold the bone in place. I hate taking any kind of medication (even an asprin) but I have been ordered to take heavy duty pain killers and antibiotics… and no food.
So, this means that it will be another few days at least before I can get back to the computer and respond to the things I have been missing in here.
Apart from the pain , and the constant taste of blood in my mouth, everything else is fine. These guys who jumped me were good… they didn’t even break my skin when they were kicking the crap out of me…. Oh for the days when I used to be a greaser !!!!Love to all
