Didn’t have any barbies for a while. There are a few gaps there now. Especially now that word of my wifes alcololic ginger beer has been spread around
Have people “dopping by” to say hello

Thats it exactly. Im lucky in that a mate has a heap of fast webspace that I can ‘borrow’.
If you have a yahoo or geocities webmail account, yo uusually get some webspace too. Your ISP should have given you some as well.

    Go hard squishy !
Although I wouldnt change my marital status for anything, if I were single I would rather be single and 30 than single and 20 anyday.

It’s cool there’s a bit of a spread in age. I remember sitting in the cinemas when Star Wars came out in 77. You couldn’t have gotten me to let go of the arm rests for anything, I was there !

I am indeed. Child number 1 does take after her mother but the new one isnt so fortunate. To put a picture up just type in {url}http://www.domain.com/pic.jpg{/url} but make sure you use the square brackets instead of the curly ones I put up. { = [

    No excuses now.

That’s the one, about 5 or so missions into the 2nd CD. It’s the lucifer, it fries a cap chip and jumps out and then fighters and bombers come at you from about 3 clicks away. The comms station sets up 4 gun emplacements around it. Can’t remember the name although Something like Break In Communication is ringing a bell.
    Cheers

Please excuse the actual music and recodring quality, its a collection of old and new rehearsal recordings. Very loose and of dodgy quality.

Thank you for the explanation. I swear the guy is either stoned or receiving special attention from under the table in that still though. Ah well, I’ll be 50 before we get it in Oz..

    Who IS that ?
It looks like a metal duck, a gumball machine on wheels and Rimmers younger brother after having a joint.

Well I dont look like a geek, more a neanderthal football head. And I play a few musical instruments and enjoy a beer at the pub. But by god I AM a geek !

I do have a rogue spear t-shirt that my geeky/techo mates wouldnt be caught dead in and my favourite PC game is about 6 years old and rarely is not installed. PLus I love sci fi, games, pc’s, books and other geeky things so if the shoe fits…..

Yeah well, when I said various physical exercise, I didnt mean the gym. Thats just sick

You HAVE to see the films.
Theres one with 2 fighters from Battlestar Galactica going through a gorge. One ets nailed by an AT-AT (st?) walker and then a ship that looks like Voyager puts a photon torpedo right into the walkers neck. Bab5 fighters and X-Wings taking on Tie Fighters etc. These guys must have some serious hardware to do these. I am going to a mates place who has cable to get all of them and put them on a CD.

It’s the one where you arrive to late to save a ship from that big mother of a cap ship but then you have to defend the comms satellite. The guy from the comms centre has radioed me saying they are now in position to defend themselves, thanks for the help etc. Then more bad guys appeared so after nailing them I hung around for another 5 mins or so, no one else appeared so I jumped out of system and then got my arse kicked for abandoning the field of battle. Maybe I have to wait longer, not sure.
    Thanks for the help.

    Holding at 29 ? Why ?
30+ is much more fun than the 20’s decade.

You can still drink but you know when to stop.

Youre still young enough to enjoy various physical exercises.

Can can quite legitimately ignore teenagers and think theyre silly beings.

You can generally afford cooler toys that you ever had.

I’ve got about 300 stubbies of home brew in the garage. A range of lager, real ale, bitter, pilsner and even some alcoholic ginger beer.
(my other half is such a legend beer maker)
    Orders please………

Lars and his offsider Big Kev

Only one thing I can think of to add is a small stage in the corner for the resident band (that would be me – got in first )
Make it small so anything bigger than a 3 piece is going to have trouble.

    Any requests ?

Oh, and I need a pint glass with my name on it because beer always tastes better in your own glass.

    Thanks.

    Ahh. No idea
Still, as much as I like vodka, it pales in comparison to Bundy rum.

Cant see why 10 has to miss out. 7 has SG1, 9 has Enterprise, surely 10 will want to grab a little of the ‘late-night’ pie ?

Saw the first Enterprise show last night. Not bad. Still very ‘trekky’ but hey, it has space ships and ray guns, I’ll watch it. Don’t think much of the theme song though. What’s with the Boring Adams style song ?

Its an aussie invasion. I am also new to the boards. Gday all.
And since weve got the interests thing going..let me ramble awhile please.
-Any scifi book I can get my greasy paws on (But Donaldsons Gap series is unsurpassed by everything Ive ever read)
-Any scifi PC game I can similarly grab (compiled a list for a mate yesterday, needless to say it was long and that was just sci fi flight combat games)
-Pretty much any sci fi on telly I can watch with the exception of trek unless Im really bored
-Um attempting sketches of space craft and failling most of the time. But I still enjoy doing it.
-Playing/writing music and watching Rugby League and enjoting my familys company

Not much else really. A bit sad that.

Cb, you’ll just have to face it. We will always be behind with telly, music etc etc

Still living here and not overseas makes up for it.
