Stargate Atlantis: S01E01: Rising

Stargate Atlantis: S01E01: Rising

It started out decent enough with the ancients (stupid name I think… I mean do they call themselves the ancients? probably not) leaving earth by blasting off in a city – I’m not making this up.

Futurama: Cultures: Mutants

Futurama: Cultures: Mutants

They don’t show up a lot in the series, but they play a pivotal role:  Leela’s homeworld.  That’s right, Leela is a mutant!

Futurama: S02E15: The Problem With Popplers

Futurama: S02E15: The Problem With Popplers

Not a bad episode in general. I enjoyed the brief visit from Lrrr and Ndnd, just because I love their names. I love the way Lrrr’s pupils change after he eats the hippie. A perfectly adequate middle of the road episode.

Futurama: S02E14: Mother’s Day

Futurama: S02E14: Mother’s Day

More Mom, Yay! She’s just an evil old bitch; I love her. Some steamy past romance comes to the forefront and we get to see a side of Bender never seen without mechanical coercement.

Futurama: S02E01: I Second that Emotion

Futurama: S02E01: I Second that Emotion

Starting out with Benders hatred for can openers and a few well-placed zingers to a defenceless animal, Nibbler chips a fang (by biting Bender’s shiny metal ass).

Futurama: People: Turanga Leela

Futurama: People: Turanga Leela

Turanga Leela is the captain of the Planet Express. She’s a hard as nails fem-mutant, who couldn’t get a second date to save her life.

Futurama: People: Bender

Futurama: People: Bender

Bender is a robotic bending unit. But more importantly he’s the Planet Express’s chef and best friend to Fry. He’s sarcastic, blunt, thieving, alcoholic, scamming, lying, dishonest, harsh, cruel, sadistic, opportunistic, greedy.

Farscape: S01E03: I, ET

Farscape: S01E02: Exodus from Genesis

Farscape: S01E02: Exodus from Genesis

Giant bugs that are able to replicate other life forms infest Moya so that they can breed. The ships temperature is increased, but to the detriment of Aeryn – Crichton attempts to save her.

Futurama: S02E02: Brannigan, Begin Again

Futurama: S02E02: Brannigan, Begin Again

DOOP, or Democratic Order of Planets, is similar to the Federation from Star Trek. There’s also all of the alien life-forms on the space station, some familiar and some not. Of course, there is the entire space station itself and the scene when part of it breaks off into space.

Tripping the Rift: S01E12: Love Conquers All…Almost

Tripping the Rift: S01E12: Love Conquers All…Almost

Love Conquers excelled in all areas of production. The script was fantastic, with jokes spilling out nearly every line, and enough quick B and C plots to keep the “Romeo and Juliet” A-Plot moving along at a steady pace.
