I must say, I don’t know Maya either, but I don’t really like the vibe this whole thing is putting out. I understand why people would be upset at a perceived slight to one of their bretheren, but the rules are the rules, and as said before, there aren’t that many. Some of these heartfelt sentiments smack of intimidation IMHO. If you don’t want to play by the rules, stay out of the game. It’s that simple. Accept if for what it is and move on.

The issue should be discussed provately between Maya and the moderators here. No one besides them know all the story, and it is not fair to try to second guess them. Reasonable actions may seem unreasonable without full knowledge of the situation.

I agree totally with the above. It’s very noble of SadGeezer to take the responsibilty on himself, but as far as the “clique” issue goes, if the ban remains, you’ll just be a tool of the clique. You’ll be the clique-master, even if you were the voice of reason five minutes before. I say make the decision you feel is right.

Whoo doggies! Things sure have gotten right interesting this evening! I know nothing about the incident in question and I will not presume to pass judgement or give my opinion on the issue, being a neohyte and all. The only thing I’d like to say is this: In all of the time I have frequented this site, before and after registering, I don’t believe I have ever seen evidence of anyone here being arbitrary or unfair. I now step down from my soapbox to retreat to my little hole.

I just sent an e-mail to Headgehog a couple of days ago, wondering how long I would get to read Dudelove76/Sexecutioner’s posts before he was banned. I can’t say I’m surprised and I applaud you for getting your point across with a lot more patience than I can muster most of the time.

I went to see the last showing with my sister on Wednesday night. I really enjoyed the movie, I love Jennifer Saunders as well, AbFab or French and Saunders. What really ticked me off was missing the credits. Freaking 11:30 p.m. and they turn the !@#$% projector off! ๐Ÿ˜ก Oh well, we got two free passes after the ranting and raving. Still, I feel cheated. ๐Ÿ™

I’m with thefrey and lexxrobotech, I LOVE Dexter’s Lab. In fact, I’m a cartoon junkie myself. And even though Buffy may be wimpy, whiny and illogically talented, I believe that was the premise of both the show and the movie. Typical softie teenager endowed with special powers that make no sense. No offense to the teenagers out there ๐Ÿ˜‰

Plunk! Plunk! Another two cents in the jar.

Captain Malcolm Reynolds I love a good smartass!

Kai Come on, it’s a given.

Chiana That Catwoman-esque quality works for me.

    Wolverine ‘Nuff said.

Raven Daughter of Trigon from the old Teen Titan comic books, not the ‘toon.

I too must put in my two cents and say that:

Scorpius is just a creepy mofo. You hate him, you love him, you love to hate him. He’s the perfect example of a baddie turning your own logic against you.

Mom from Futurama is pretty high on my list. First, I love Futurama. Second, she is the nastiest future human. Not pure evil as evil goes, but she’s got some great one-liners and she is so mean to those sons of hers.

Professor Longbore on the last season of Lexx. He certainly doesn’t come close to Mantrid or Prince, but his misrepresentation seems particularly insidious to me.

Trevor from Aeon Flux is just a b*st*rd. Plain and simple.

Darph Bobo just makes me giggle. Something about those evil phrases coming out with that clown inflection. Genius!

I agree, I’ve hated seeing so many shows go off the air the last few years. Who knows if the movies will ever get made, but at least we have a platform from which to imagine.

I really like the ep myself. The end did seem a little rushed, I just assumed it was the son took power thing myself. I have a problem with the commercial breaks, as you have mentioned before. I think the episodes would flow better if the commercials weren’t so ill-timed and copious. All in all, it was a decent episode. I’m looking forward to the marathon next week so I can see some of the shows I missed.

I just went to see it on Sunday night. It’s good summer movie fare. Doesn’t make you think too much, attractive people doing improbable things and lots of fire! It was definitely LOUD! I must agree on that one. I couldn’t be bored, too many people were jumping at every other scene around me. I did think the female vampire cackles were a bit Wicked Witch of the West. And as always, the perennial horror movie question; Why do peple go outside at night in a vampire-infested village?

I’m also very skeptical about the lack of “official” confirmation, but I’m torn about whether or not it would be a good idea.

On one hand, I also think LEXX ended well and as it should. On the other hand, I miss it and there have been TONS of ideas and concepts tossed around since the series ended. Maybe someone has or will be able to come up with something we’ve all overlooked.

Regardless, LexxLurker is correct. No matter what happens, LEXX’s legacy and it’s fans deserve better than a half-baked plan.

You know, I just noticed tonight how much Six’s breasts jiggle. I know her attributes have been mentioned, and I guess it’s just the girl in me, but I never noticed that bounce. It may sound weird, but . . .
    Damn! That’s impressive animation! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Done, done, done and done! Just zipped off an e-mail to all listed parties at the networks. Let’s hope they take heed. I’ve only seen the last two episodes, I’d like the chance to see more.

Hey, I know nothing about writing reviews and the like, but I love Futurama, watched it religiously, own the DVDs and listen to the episode commentaries and the like, so long story short (too late, I told you I know nothing about writing ๐Ÿ˜† ) if I can be any help, I will be.

The computer finally pushed too far…Our new on arrived today. As childish or silly as it may sound, I get to destroy the computer after I type these words and I am going to enjoy every moment. May we all someday be able to take out our frustrations on computers in a barbaric arena. ๐Ÿ˜†

I haven’t been driven to much of anything yet, but I wait with baited breath for the day this computer is replaced with a new one so I can hit the hard drive with a hammer..is that a little extreme? After all, the experts recommend that as a way to protect your personal data, but must confess that I just want to beat the damn thing ๐Ÿ˜‰

I chose Season 5…so far. I didn’t know how I would like it without Cordelia ( I myself am not that fond of change on my favorite shows), but much to my surprise, I like her not being there. I like Spike’s addition and the new stuff going on with everyone. I like learning a little about all of the crew at the now defunct Angel Investigations and the Wolfram and Hart angle adds a lot of possibilties for future baddies to come out of the woodwork. I also like the fact that there is a little more humor coming back in, that’s what I liked about Buffy in the beginning. Over all I’ve been pretty interested, which is a rarity for me in today’s TV schedule. Happy viewing everyone.

i know this is a little late and that I live in a town so charitably nicknamed, “Lunhcbag”, but I’d like to know where the flood has been? I had to stop purchasing dvd and video of Lexx in the middle of season 2 and again in season 3 because I couldn’t find them anymore-I can get them off of eBay and other online merchants, but my point is-there was no flood here-I’ve never even SEEN a s3v3 disc on ay shelf in this town-never fear though, I will have my LEXX.
