4.05 The Road Less Travelled Transcript
I can’t really take any credit. Currently all of the work is done by Boomer of TWOP. I merely supply an unformatted (raw text) transcript, and then upload the finished product.
I know that the formatted transcripts (what everyone sees here) were used by subbers in the past, but I don’t know if they are still being used. A French group http://www.seriestele.net also makes use of an unformatted transcript.
HeadgehogParticipantSorry, I’ve been terribly busy and/or forgettful the last few weeks. Presently the transcripts are prepared by a most excellent fan at TWoP.com, and all I have to do is upload the transcripts. But with the site being down and my schedule, even that proved a bit much…
Sorry for the delay. The transcritps through 319 are uploaded now.

20th October 2006 at 7:56 pm in reply to: I have to disagree headge about this season so far…..spoil #76854HeadgehogParticipantI will agree that the season is moving too fast, with reguards to the time spent on New Caprica. I think they could afford to spend at least another two episodes on the planet with the occupation arc. A lot of things are being implied and not explored in depth. BSG has done this before to concentrate on the big picture, and I’ve written those rants in my reviews before.
In their defence some of these finer points were written, but were cut for time or network constraints/recommendations.
Some of your other concerns will be addressed in my future reviews. I will be getting back on schedule releasing weekly reviews starting with this episode, but it will take me some time to do the 13 reviews I’ve missed so far. I do intend to complete the reviews at some point I just need RL to slow down for a bit.
However I still feel that this is the strongest season to date. But I reserve final judgement until they get back on the ships.
HeadgehogParticipantDune names aren’t all that bad. There are some mundane names like: Paul, Duncan, Jessica, (Alia, Miles, <- possibly exotic depending on your locale)
Some more exotic names like: Leto, Vladimir, Chani, Sheeana, Wellington, Irulan (and some of these are regional normal too)
And some “gonna get picked on” names like: Thufir, Hwi, Gurney, Ghanima, Stilgar, Maud’Dib and anything Tlielaxu12th October 2006 at 6:43 am in reply to: Transcript for Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Episodes? #76801HeadgehogParticipant
Headgehog has a very busy day job. Also lots of people rip off his transcripts as their own and I guess when that happens to you a lot it’s a bit of a downer.
Hopefully he’ll be up for doing some this season. I hope so. What do you think Headge?
Sadgeezer summed it up pretty well.
I can pretty much guarantee that I won’t be doing the first 3 episodes. Beyond the fact that I already need more than 24 hours in a day just to get my RL stuff done, I’m way too ill this week to spend hours hunched over a computer for a hobby. And if I can get well in time, I’ll be out of town this weekend on a very well needed vacation.
I haven’t decided if I’ll be doing transcripts for the rest of the season yet. As SadGeezer and Mandara k pointed out, having another site pirate the transcripts is a major buzzkill. And it’s hard to motivate myself to do something that (now) feels like work on Friday nights.
Some motivation does come knowing that the transcripts help those who are hard of hearing, or aren’t fluent in English. I provide very modest assistance to the excellent and hard working fans at http://www.forom.com . That site has teams of fans working to create subtitles of many TV shows in English and French. Hopefully the subs for the first couple episodes will be online shortly.
If there are any sadgeezers out there who would be willing to give me a much needed hand on the transcripts, please send me a PM. If I get 5+ people interested, I can pretty much assure everyone that they individually won’t need to put in more than 10-15 minutes of work a week. I show, those interested, a few time saving tricks 8)
HeadgehogParticipantGood news: Yes I can very easily add more skypers to a chat
Bad news: At 11:30 GMT I expect to be somewhere between DC and Philly. I might even stay in DC that night because there’s a concert in Farfax that I’m interested in attending.
My plan is to drive from Atlanta to Philadelphia (820 mi) that day leaving Atlanta at 5:30 am (lt). In theory that means that I’m back home in enough time to make the sound check, but I plan on visiting Megan in DC, and I don’t know how “up-to-it” I’ll be after 12 hours of driving.******
Here is the procedure for adding more skypers:
Needed: Two computers, 2 (long) AC standard mono audio cables (for use with computers), possibly 2 audio cable split depending on the computer, two skype accounts
Designations: As shown above two of everything is needed. These components will be split into groups “A” and “B”.
line out: aka speaker, headphones jacks. These are usually a green colour, sometimes black
line in: aka line in jacks These are usually a blue colour.
mic: a kind of line in, specific to microphones, using this jack is very undesirable for this application, usually pink colour.Procedure:
1) Run an audio cable from the “line out” of “computer A” to the “line in” of “computer “B”
2) Run the audio cable from the “line out: of computer B” to the “line in” of “computer A”
3a) “Computer A” should have two “line outs”, a regular line out and a speaker line out. If not, use a audio cable split to connect the speaker for the syper present at the computer to hear the conversation, and another cable to the “line in” of “computer B”
3b) “Computer A” should also have a line in and a mic line. If not use a audio cable split to connect the microphone and cable from the “line out” of “computer B”
4) “Computer A”, using “Skype account A” will re requested by Sadgeezer to join the main conference call.
5) “Computer B” using dummy “skype account B” will start it’s own chat conference call for the extra skypers.
6) sounds checks will have to be completed to ensure proper volume. The volume controls on computers A and B will have to adjust the line in/out volumes where the AV cables are plugged in to during these soundchecks.I recommend someone who knows how to play with wires and tweak sound controls do this procedure.
IFF someone in Preston will preform this procedure, I recommend using two laptops and you should ommit step 4 as SadGeezer (account) will already be connected to the main conference call. This sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. I can and have set up this system myself in about 45 seconds. This is not the ghetto-rigged (jury-rigged, MacGyvered) solution. This is as simple as it gets.
Another option entails using a partitioned hard drive, and is far far more complicated, but only requires one computer. It might be possible to do it without a partition, but I haven’t tried it yet
SadCAST 4 info:
As stated above, I will be unable or unwilling to be near a computer Friday. With that said I will be preparing MP3’s or wav’s of me giving mews items. Each item will be about 1 or two short sentences. I will have several takes of me reading each item with different emotions, within each audio file. I hope this will aid in splicing it into the SadCast without too much disruption of mood/flow.
I will have an mp3/wav of me saying “Dune”. I suspect this will be used as a sound effect in many sadcasts, or who knows. Yes there will be a Dune news story. On Thursday I am defending my master’s thesis. It came in at a “lite” 141 pages. I’m going to go ahead and say I passed my defence. I’m also going to say that I and many other people in my program (and friends) will be totally pissed drunk for the after-defence party I’m throwing. Depending on how you want to edit me in, you could use this as an excuse for my pre-recorded lines.
HeadgehogParticipanthave we gotten any fan mail?
HeadgehogParticipanthehe:
“Blame Canada”HeadgehogParticipantthanks Faldor
HeadgehogParticipantI will freely admit and agree that my two minute news segment was boring to watch. I totally understand what you mean about the Sypers talking too long without any visuals, and how that is a bad thing.
And it didn’t help that I was obviously reading the news… And for that reason I think well thought out and written scripts are a bad idea. It needs to be relaxed.
I like the idea of having more independent sadcasts, review this and that sort of thing instead of one giant sadcast every few weeks. But I don’t think we should do away with the group sadcast all together. I’ll try to get a review of Lost and or Alias out to you guys in the next week or so.
HeadgehogParticipant
you mean the “Deoooown Book”.

No, it’s Doooooooon!

Ryan says it such a cool way.It sounds like Dewn… but with an ‘OOOOOOOoooo’ placed somewhere in the middle. Its so much better than the plain old ‘Dune’ the way I say it.
Im going to make Ryan say that everytime I speak to him from now on.
In fact, it should be part of the podcast theme tune.
Hahaha!
The podcast really is the battle of the accents. And with the addition of even more skypers, it’s only gonna get more diverse.
To be honest, my ears aren’t sensitive enough to actually notice the difference between how “Dune” is said by everyone else on the SadCast. But evidently everyone else can…
Although after moving down to Atlanata, I’m quicjly becoming more and more aware of my Mid-Atlantic accent.I’d love to see the battle of the “Dune” pronunciations left in at the end of the SadCast. After rewatching sadcast 1, I realized it was cut. But it’d be a cool little thing to have in there every time, as a running gag.
Dune: dyōōn
HeadgehogParticipantThese are my lost and Alias review scripts. Again, little deviation from what is written here. I do intend to edit this for grammar a little. It’s getting early for me! Both reviews including the 2 30 clips should take about 2 min 45 sec.
First up is Alias episode “30 Seconds”. I’m not even sure where to start on this one, other than it’s a good thing the series is coming to an end. Let’s have a look at this clip:
Show the clip.
30 Seconds was so formulaic for an Alias episode. There’s a mission that goes wrong becuse Sloane betrayed them. The enemy appears to have the upper hand, but they pull it off at the end. Uggh, come on guys you only have a few more episodes to go, try to be a little original! What’s worse is they pulled the doppleganger nonse again. The doubles are what first made this series first jump the shark in season 2! This time with Anna doubling as Sydney. Anna nearly kills Sidney off in Mongolia, and meets up with Vaughn. They track the technology to some hideout of Vaugh’s father in Germany and that’s where things get formuliac some more. In the end Sydney saves Vaughn bying killing Anna at the last second. The good guys now have all the evidence they need to end Prophet 5, and this trainwreck of series.
Lost’s “Two for the Road” on the other hand did not suck. It got me interested again in the series: Look at this editted clip:
show the lost clip.
With the finding of this new Dharma base, it looks like a we’re poised to learn more about the island. But this series has been such a tease in the past, so who knows. Personally it looks like its proving my theory that this entire island was a psychology expirement gone wrong. With the bearded man becoming a cult figure amongst the particpants and preaching some extremist Darwinism. But overall it was a good epsiode and really set things up for the end of the season. However I am dissapointed to see the LIbby sub-arc die. I was pretty curious about that one. AS for Micheal, I think he shot up Anna Lucia and Libby last week just to give the castaways a reason to go after the others. Well see next week.
HeadgehogParticipantThis is my script for my Sci Fi news. I will deviate very little from what is written. I’ve test read it and the time listed are about how long each section will take
Part 1: (2 min 10 sec)
I’ll start off this week with some news coming from over in you guys’ area of the world. The Jetix Europe network announced this week that they intend to produce the second Doctor Who spinoff, K9. Jetix is a children’s network so that should be a big hint about the maturity level of the new spinoff. But anyway, they’ve order 26, of what I presume to be half hour episodes. The series is a joint effort with Who designer Paul Tams and the K9 co creator Bob Baker, who himself cowrote Wallace and Gromit. The Beeb won’t have anything to do with this new series as they are too busy working on their own Who spinoff “Torchwood”. Torchwood, is a hunourous British/Welsh version of the X-Files, stars John Barrowman (Capt Jack) and Eve Myles. The foundation for this spinoff was set a few weeks ago when the Doctor vistited Victorian Scotland, in the second episode “Tooth and Claw”, which prompted her majesty to create a UFO investigation programme. The series will be mostly based in Cardiff and won’t crossover with Doctor Who. A quick FYI, Torchwood is an amalgram for Doctor Who.
In a related story, former Doctor Chrsitpher Eccleston will be starring in the new Sky One Prisoner remake. The new 6 part mini-series will follow a former spy trying to escape a wierd town. Coincidentally this is the same amount of episodes the Patrick McGoohan only wanted to do for the first Prisoner series. Unlike the original though the new series will not be filmed in Portmerion, Wales.
In movie news Brendon Fraiser will star in the Journey to the Center of the Earth remake: Journey 3-D. And no, unlike other 3D movie flops, Robert Rodreguez won’t be helming this film. Instead it will be directed by first time movie director Eric Brerig. I must say though that I’m dissapointed with Brendon Fraiser. I really thought that after Crash he would start doing serious films. I sort of thought he would be the next Tom Hanks. y’know a lot of stupid films, then one serious role and he takes off. I guess that just isn’t what he wants.
Speaking of movies, Blizzard has sold the rights to a World of Warcraft movie to WB’s Legendary Pictures. They intedn to start work on the movie right away. It will be a live action film and Blizzard will have some creative control over the picture.
Another video game film Halo produced by Universal-Fox is slated to be released next summer, but that seems unlikely as a director hasn’t been found for that film yet.
Part 2 (90 sec)
Get you Barf bags ready, Sci Fi Channel announced their new season plans a couple weeks ago. We’ve got Blink, as series about freezing time for an instant when a life shattering decision is be made and see the results. Persons Unknown feature a group of mind wiped people who awaken in a deserted town and can’t escape. I saw this one already, it’s was a Canadian movie called Cube. The Bishop follows a Slacker with a special gift who must uncover his secret past. *cough* John Doe.I’ll spare you the description for the unscripted Ground Control and Destination Truth. But an untitled late weeknight show has promise. They want it to be a sketch comedy show satirizing the PBS science news magazine show. I’m intereste to see how this will turn out. It’s sounds promising, but I don’t know if they’ll have enough material to do everynight, and more to the point if the shit production values that Sci Fi has normally used in some of thier recent shows (Mad Mad House, Tripping the Rift, Tremors, Scare Tactics and Master Blasters) will doom this one before it starts.
The BSG comic book has started its run this month. 135k copies of issue 0 are now in stores for a quater. Monthly issues start in July.
Sci Fi Channel will begin the new seasons of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis on Friday July 14 at their regular times. Sister network USA has The 4400 begin their new season on June 11 at 9:00 with a 2 hour premier. They will return to their regular timeslot on sundays on June 18th at 9 PM. follwed by the season premier of the Dead Zone at 10 PM.
HeadgehogParticipantI’m Still ready to rock
HeadgehogParticipant
Tell us what you think!
Quite funny. I was surprise to see the outakes, drunken rants and akwards silences made it into the final cut. I have to admit it was much funnier to watch than listen to.
HeadgehogParticipantOkay, I’ve added my parts to the wiki. I will have the fully scripted text availible my Firday evening (lt) of what I intend to say for my prepared sections, news and Alias review.
I think my news items about the Dr WHo spinoffs will be better placed in the second news section if we discuss the last few episodes of Dr. Who. I really want to bring up the Teva sandal wearing monks and the Torchwood organization. Anthony Steward Head was a nice cameo, and the time-warp space ship that was stalkinghte french woman was just sad.
I included some sample prompts, but basically whatever works best for you.
HeadgehogParticipantworks for me
HeadgehogParticipantGreat graphic(s). How did they put that together? Was it individual photos photoshopped together, or some very uncomfortable group pose?
I personally prefer the “Sadgeezers” over the “Science Fiction” title, but the later is more marketable to thoe who don’t know about the site.
HeadgehogParticipant
I will need some info of you guys for the intro section of the podcast, I’ll enter a separate post requesting the exact info that I need.
Do you want that information now?
HeadgehogParticipantAre we starting this thing at 11:30 PM GMT exact, or are we going to start the conference call 30 min earlier? It doesn’t make too much of a difference to me, it just sort of tells me how much time I can procrastinate putting together the Alias episode review.
Speaking of which I would like to bring up (or at least be able to comment on the following items this week:
News:
BSG spinoff: Caprica (see the news item I posted earlier tonight)News/Books:
Announced released of Hunters of Dune: Aug 22, 2007
pre-order on Amazon for $17.61
First two chapter so said novel released on the official site dunenovels.com. A new chapter released at the begining of every month until August.
I’ll post cover art of book (US and UK version later)TV:
Dr. Who. Will we have an oppritunity to respond to your review? If so I’d like to ask the question about the “new new doctor”, see Dr. Who forum. Granted, Logan has already answered it, but it might be a good thing to breifly mention for new fans (such as others like myself).Movies:
Clerks 2 Trailer availible (brief mention by someone should suffice)Alias episode review, I’ll need about a minute. I plan on splicing together all the scenes I want to talk about. I will likely have the entire product produced by tomorrow night; such that it will be pre-recorded and easily added to the podcast. At least that’s the plan. I should be able to get it all done in about an hour tomorrow as I have most of it scripted already.
Comments?
HeadgehogParticipantI’ll try to find you online later tonight or this week. The problem is that this week is quite hectic for me, so my “leisure” time is probably in the middle of the night for you considering the six(?) hour time difference.
I know SA is ordinarily 7 time zones ahead, but it’s my understanding that you(pl) don’t have daylight savings time, so I think you’re effectivly only 6 time zones ahead now.
HeadgehogParticipant

PS : Saddy, I can see you online but cant seem to get through to you. Ive been dialing you ever thirty minutes or so for the last hour and a half.
❓ :?:
Me too Saddy. I tried to get ahold of you a couple of times, but then Headge got on line and I checked it with him.
ditto both of those statements.
Lexxrobotech, what’s your skype name? I’m RBHeadge.
HeadgehogParticipant
I still haven’t recieved anyones address. I need to to post you the headsets!
Have you checked your email?
tony.fawl@eds.comI sent mine yesterday around 11:00 est
HeadgehogParticipantI’d be willing to do the movies section except:
1) I haven’t been to the movies in about a month, V was the last movie I saw
2) Are there even any scifi films out there now?!I suppose I can comment about the Clerks 2 trailer that was released this last week. Sure the movie itself isn’t scifi, but it’s Kevin Smith, so we already know there will be a ton of scifi (SW specifically) references in the film.
The TV directory isn’t working for me, I don’t have permission?
I’m really going to have to catch up on Dr. Who. I’ve seen only four episodes so far, as I’m basically on the US schedule now. I’ll play catch up after finals.
You have (team) for the scifi news. Is this the team of four people in Preston? I will be very interested in this section in a couple weeks when the semester is over.
We (team, etc) can’t laugh? It sounds odd to me, especially if we plan on cracking any jokes during the podcast.
Will there be pictures and or avatars for the non-Preston speaker when we are talking? I ask only because I know that seeing the same few talking heads for 20 minutes straight can get tedious for many viewers.
HeadgehogParticipantWow, you’re on a roll! Makes me feel guilty about not even starting the BSG s2.5 reviews. Keep up the good work.
HeadgehogParticipantWhoa, very very cool idea! Let me know if you need any help from me.
HeadgehogParticipantquote=”MargiC”]Although I read these transcripts regularly, I haven’t posted before, and feel a little diffident about doing so now. But here goes — this is a terrific service.
Welcome to the site, I’m glad you enjoy the transcripts.
Usually I read the transcript after I’ve seen the ep, but due to a Series of Unfortunate Events, I wasn’t able to catch this one, so read the transcript ‘cold’. … The surprise to me was what a well-written, taut, well edited script this appears to be. This time I felt the dialogue and cutting techniques really carried the story simply ‘on paper’, which isn’t always the case.
You’d be surprised. Many of the scripts for season 2.5 have been very strong by themselves, but didn’t translate well onto the small screen. Black Market, Scar and to a lesser extent Epiphanies are all examples. I haven’t made up my mind yet if I liked the Captain’s Hand.
I’m very interested in thewriting of this series, and was happy to be able to focus on it.
Margi C
You might be interested to know that the scripts usually run longer than expected and several pages and scenes are usually cut or shortened. Sometimes excerpts from the cutting room floor find there way into the “Previously on Battlestar Galactica” part of the episode. Ad-libbing is also very strongly encouraged. So it’s very common for the final product to vary greatly from what was first written. For instance Tyrol’s character often has “Aaron it up” written in the script, because they know the actor can easily improv better lines.
well Hedge I don’t think Adama can find anyone better for the job. They lack officers on Galactica and almost everyone on Pegasus that gets promoted seems incompetent. Apollo handled the situation pretty well considering he’s had 0 experience commanding a capital ship. Can you imagine what would happen if Starbuck got the job as CO of Pegasus?
I think the lack of strong Pegasus officers is a plot device. I somewhat doubt Cain would have tolerated incompetence very long on her ship. Or perhaps she micromanaged so much, that there wasn’t an opportunity for officers with leadership.
Starbuck would be a disaster. The ship would likely spontaneously explode within a few hours of her taking command.
I was really thinking about putting Adama putting Geata or Kelly in a higher leadership position on Pegasus. He can trust those guys and both have already shown leadership abilities on some level.
HeadgehogParticipantYeah, it certainly appears that a Pegasus commander has the lifespan of a Spinal Tap drummer. Adama must not love his son that much…
Adama has always been a little calm and at times unemotional. So I haven’t noticed a huge change since he became Admiral.
Politically though, I think it was a very bad move for him to promote his son to Commander of Pegasus. People can interpret the move as a dynastic attempt to control the military. I can understand why he wanted to promote somebody from Galactica to commander, but his own son screams of nepotism.
HeadgehogParticipantYou thought Scar was a bad one? Personally I thouht Black Market and the tonight’s Sacrifice were that bad. It’s getting pretty painful to type these things out when the episode isn’t that good.
I have mixed feelings about season 2.5. (As evidenced by my lack of reviews) I’m hoping it will pick up as the season nears its end.
HeadgehogParticipantCool review. Nice catch noticing that both the hippies from both episodes were named Waterfall. I never noticed that before, and it just makes it all much funnier. Do you know if there were any other hippie characters with that name in the series.
In my usual style of site maintenance procrastination; I got this a while ago but forgot to post it:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4966W00T! <-first last and only lame attempt at l33t
Not just one new Futurama movie, but FOUR!
HeadgehogParticipantYour welcome. ❗ 🙂
So I guess BSG is now airing up in Canada, which episode are you up to.
And this reminds me that I really need to upload the reviews for episodes 211-214
HeadgehogParticipantYou’re right. Logically there should have been all 11 copies on board. Perhaps the camera only took pictures of the section with the ‘six’ models, or the fleet didn’t bother trying to identify the floating corpses.
HeadgehogParticipantThanks for posting all that Logan! I tried it myself and I can successfully login from my primary connection. But as you already pointed out, it doesn’t have me logged in, so I can’t really upload anything.
HeadgehogParticipantThat makes more sense.
HeadgehogParticipantI’ll see what I can do. At the soonist, it will be Monday or Tuesday before I can even start. My DVD set is about 800 miles away at the moment.
HeadgehogParticipantI know there are some people transcribing interviews over on the scifi.com/bboard, and they might also do lowdowns and deleted scenes too.
I don’t have any plans to transcribe either the deleted scenes as they aren’t canon. nor the lowdowns because IMHO they are just recylced proganda.
If you need something very specific transcribed, I can do it here. But I barely have enough time to write reviews as it is.
HeadgehogParticipantSorry about that. There have been a substancial number of people in the last few months who have had trouble accessing the site, myself included. Usually though it only effects those with a static ip, but looking at your posting record it appears that you have a floating ip (dial up). We’re looking into getting a new host, which should hopefully solve the problem.
HeadgehogParticipant
Hola Catperson!
I have a new thread in “The Prisoner” forum , but it is invisible. I can find it on search function but it does not up on the forum index.
Is in in queue or lost in space?
I’m not sure what is causing that problem. It is appearing fine on the new posts list onthe main page, but it’s oddly enough not being listed on the threads list in that forum. Moving the thread from one forum to another didn’t help. I tried to recreate the problem, but everything worked fine for me. Later today I can try to create the thread so that it will appear.
HeadgehogParticipantNone of this surprises me. When I first started seeing ads on TV for the movie a month ago, I knew it was gonna be bad. As a rule of thumb; any TV spots, billboards or Bus ads so early is overcompensation and a sign that the movie will be okay at best.
And if that weren’t enough, the trailers don’t make me want to see the movie. It’s really only because of this site’s guide and an interesting premise/backstory on the official website that I’m going to see the movie.
I’ll post my thoughts after I see it. Since I’m not expecting much, I might be wind up being pleasantly surprised
HeadgehogParticipantall things relative of course
HeadgehogParticipantIMDB.com has a subscription service, that allows you to contact the managers/agents of certain people in their database. I have no idea if John Unholz is in that database though.
Or you could try your luck contacting CineGroup asking them for his agents contact information.
good luck
HeadgehogParticipantYeah this problem is startign to get really weird. Below is what I sent Saddy a few minutes ago of my recent findings. BTW I have to use AOL through gatech’s T1 to just acess the site:
I know the problem isn’t on my machine, and it is likely not at the server either. I cannot access the site through my computers primary isp. But I can access it from my roommates computer and the computer at my office. I tried a different port in my apartment with no luck. Although I think my isp might assign my computer an ip.*** All three machines use the same isp. The problem seems to strike those with static ips more than floating ips. (And my suspicion is that it affects those who frequent the site regularly, but I have no evidence to support this) It cannot be just me, since Frey, and many others on the scifi.com and lexxfans bboards are also having problems.
***I’m not a computer expert, so what would cause certain machines to be unable to access a site, but allow others on the same network to access it? Do you have any ideas.
Maybe somebody here knows what this could mean?

HeadgehogParticipantI can’t remember exactly where that exact version came from. I remember SciFi.com had a cropped thumbnail of it on their homepage last week (or was it two weeks ago?), so I guess I found it there. I’ve been a little backlogged in uploading images (and reviews) so I tend to forget where they all came from.
HeadgehogParticipant
Did they lift your transcripts at ************? Is THAT the erring site that doesn’t do their own work? 😆 😆 😆
I tell you it’s amazing who they have leading up fans in the BSG community,
Yes, that’s them. But I have very purposefully made sure not to mention them by name anywhere. I can not emphasise this enough; I DO NOT want a board war!
I have made MY peace with the issue, and take solace in the belief that karma is a bitch. I don’t want a prolonged conflict, nor anything to prove how shameless, petty and immature many science fiction fans can be.
HeadgehogParticipantGood luck trying to find subtitles this early. English/French/Czech/Bulgarian/Chinese/Spanish usually don’t appear until a few days afterwards. I can send you a properly synced English or French version when I get it in a few days to a week if you want.
The mid season break will occur after 2.10 Pegasus. Next week is a holiday, so no BSG, but 3 more Fridays of new episodes after that.
HeadgehogParticipantHmm. I just novticed this post now. We were having some problems with the board last week.
Lost is a good show. Hi quality and lots of stuff to keep the audienace watching. In the states, Desperate Housewives gets better ratings, but Lost is still one of the top rated shows on tv.
I probably shoulsn’t sy much else, sicne you haven’t seen the whole first season. Spoilers will kill the show for the viewer!
I’d like to point out that they clainm to have an explanation for everyting on the show and all its mysteries. I however am skeptical of that. Especially since Alias, another JJ Abrams show, consistantly makes things up as they go along.
The first Loch flashback epsiode was a tear jerker.
Incidently I considered doing a guide for Lost, but maintaining it would just be so. much. work! The show is very involved, with all sorts of subtle details that need to be added and reviewed every week. Too much work.
HeadgehogParticipantOh wow, that ancient. A couple years ago Saddy started a thread asking for funny scifi quotes for the random quote generator. Someone brought up that quote from Jim Raynor of Starcraft (love that guy’s quips, and the game!), you replied something to the effect that you use that quote pretty often too. Sad added the both of you as the origin.
I thought you knew about that, I could’ve sworn you posted something about it already.
HeadgehogParticipantBetter late than never:
