Is the planet ever mentioned in the series again?

*what is Giggerota? I mean that tongue looks vaguely like that of a
divine executioner…. Surely she isn’t one gone AWOL?Giggerota means liver eater. The tongue gives her more of the suggestion of having a huge appetite. The producers liked that as well as the sexual innuendo.
*Does Giggerota have a PAST with Kai? In Supernova they seem pretty
antagonistic – have they encountered each other before?Excellent question. Nope she just views him as another piece of meat “sleeping meat”.
I must say I’m surprised I was sure it mentioned her coming from some different planet…. 🙄
I think in Lexx ‘anything goes’
episodes seem to be inspired by a great many things… including fantasy elements like the wizard of oz and a midsummer nights dream – so anything can feesably turn up, particularly in regard to season 4 where rules went out the window.yup, Walter Borden is His Dying Shadow in IWHS… Its even on the credits of the episode. He’s credited twice: once as ‘His Dying Shadow’ and later as just His Shadow… Its definitely his voice, its quite distinctive, but I think the body of the active HS in the ep is still Lex Gigeroff.

It has grown and wandered quite a way from where I envisaged lol…. damn if i don’t get carried away! Just a warning in that it doesn’t feature any of the main characters (Xev, Kai Stan, Lexx, 790) – its kinda my lexxploration of the planet Ruma and its history.
Anyone still willing to read it… well I’d love some feedback.
I was having a few thoughts on your Lexx/Harry Potter idea.
It is fanfic so of course you don’t HAVE to explain yourself – you can just have the Lexx crew arrive at Hogwarts (I think that works better than have the HP crew come to the Lexx)….However personally I hate these random fics so some ideas I had on how you can link them:
1) Hagrid has an affinity with all creatures. So why not a leviathan like the Lexx? Perhaps he was practicing insect calls and the lexx heard him? (this might work set in lexx s4 where Lexx is in close proximity to the Earth)…
2) Or he (or someone else) could have summoned the Lexx by some magical means (totally be accident would be fun)
3) In order to board the train to hogwarts they go through some sort of spacial rift at platform 9 1/2. you could make that a temporal rift or…. a wormhole or something and the lexx could just be sucked in.
4) The kids could be learning about space and Hermione wants to see the universe first hand so she does a spell to take them into space….
the possibilities here are endless 🙄

I’m not that confident about posting my own Lexx fics anywhere (yet) and I have some unfinished ones and ideas. was wondering if there were any people out there who would like to give me some feedback, bounce some ideas etc…. I’d do the same back 😀 perhaps we could set up some sort of lexx fic support group or something?????? anyone interested?

though i still think special lexx dice would have been ace! 😈mmmmmm really like the idea of you allowing before or after destruction of the light universe. Most of the cool planets we get to see are in the light zone so setting it after the universe’s destruction would be sad. If you allow for an exploration of both zones its keeping your options open, can either visit planets seen in the show…. Imagine having an adventure on Potatohoe lol or explore the sadly largely unexplored darkzone…. 😀
what sort of system do you have in mind?
Dunno if you have come across the Hercules and Xena RPG but the system on that was pretty simple. Dice had I think 3 chakrams (success) and 3 bats (fails) and then there was one wild dice with an eye of hera (critical fail), zeus’ thunderbot (critical success) and 2 chakrams/bats. So you roll however many dice and the wild dice….
while you don’t get to play any of the major characters, they do crop up and you can interact with them as NPCS. A cool way to explore the universe… Or in this case two universes 😈
Ok Lexx seasons 1-3 were released Region 2 DVD by Kult TV
(The Contender Entertainment Group) who also gave us Farscape and Mutant X. I have been bugging them about a possible release for Lexx season 4, but am having no luck 😥 😥 😥Last year they told me:
“Please note however, that we don’t have the rights to season 4, and I’m led to believe that another distributor has picked these up, so the season 3 materials will sadly be the last we release of Lexx.”
I wrote back again this year hoping for more news 😛
Here’s what I was told by the product manager:
“I’m afraid we turned down the rights on season four for a variety of reasons, the largest of which was that costs of producing and obtaining the year were extremely unlikely to be returned by the small sales we saw on seasons two and three…..
Do note, however, that now the rights are available, it’s not impossible that one of the other DVD companies similar to ourselves in the UK (for example, Network or Fremantle) would be interested enough to get the rights instead. All I can hope is that they are able to find a way to make the project affordable.
the Lexx owners don’t have to pass information on to people no longer involved in the process so I may not hear news much before you do”
So erm I think thats a Kult TV will definitely NOT be releasing Lexx season 4, but some other distributor might be willing to pick up the rights… but don’t hold your breath 😥

Hey ear cutting goes right back to the Bible.
Luke 22:50 in the Garden of Gethsemanie the high priest has his ear chopped off and Jesus miraculously heals it. One of the forgotten miracles, but my personal favourite 😛Woz is an interesting one.
The Wizard of Oz stuff is pretty damn obvious – I mean it was even going to be called ‘The Clizzards of Woz’
It is also a critique of radical feminism
And is a homage to ‘Queen of Outer Space’ (1958) with the whole terribly scarred evil queen who goes around masked thing going on.
Oh yeah the s4 idea of bad carrots – how bout David Cronenburg’s shivers anyone? thats actually phallic parasites that enter any orifice (often bottom) and turn people into sex fiends 😛 a very Lexx image 😈 but Lexx has twisted the idea a bit to have killer robotic carrorts which i thought was really funny 😀
And Little Blue Planet well reminded me of the first season of ’24’ with that Russian asassin and his personal manicurist 😛 Though I guess that could be borrowed from one of the Bond style movies….
I thought that both ‘Wake the Dead’ and ‘Twilight’ were great episodes 😛 Its nice to see Kai let loose.
There are so many references in Lexx its unreal!
It seems to be a homage to whatever the hell the writers were watching the night before 😈Some of the obvious ones I noticed:

Woz – Queen of Outer Space
Wake the Dead – take your pick of slasher movies 😛
Twilight – night of the living dead anyone?
Supernova – Barbarella (the idea of the ‘burst of life’ reminds me very much of the chamber of death)
Nook – Brother Cadfael mysteries
Fire and Water – Mad Max
Walpurgis Night – one 70’s vampire film can’t recall off the top of my head might be ‘the vampire happening’ and title was used in a 1971 vampire film la noche de Walpurgis’I think thats one of the reasons the show works so well 😀

the pair just seem to go naturally together! similar kind of sexual innuendo and fun, scanty costumes… pretty pretty!
Think I’ve also thought about Lexx/Return of the Living Dead part 3
after seeing ‘Twighlight’Lexx/Red Dwarf would be perfect, particularly after the s4 ep ‘P4X’

Good to see the return of Lomia, and it was neat with the Red Dwarf cameos. I also rather like the killer carrots…. 😀
Xev was really hot in this ep. And that little Damian style kid was a hoot.Lafftrak is superb. I love the audience of heads, its just so freaky! I also like the idea of ‘specialty show.’ Its an episode that works really well as a stand alone.
Brigadoom is my personal favourite as well. It gives lots of background to Kai which is great, but its just soo cool to have it as a musical! I thought it really worked. It manages to be both very funny and at the same time very sad and really captures for me everything that is great about the show 😀
So far not greatly impressed. Xev looks hot, and Kai is well Kai, but its not hooked me like the earlier stuff. I thought Texx Lexx was pretty disappointing.
Jhevz, I’m curious. I really like Stan’s Trial what would you have liked to have seen done differently????
I loved the idea of divine executioners. If they had of put that in s2….. I think it would have been fantastic 😀

Though from what I have seen I really haven’t liked the way it was going… Its still Lexx though, more original than most other shows out there 😈S1: Supernova – Tim Curry is just fantastic!
s2: Brigadoom. Though there really are some fantastic eps in s2 – Mantrid, Lafftrack, Wake the Dead, Twilight, Stan’s Trial, Brizon…
s3: K-Town was a pretty good Kai moment, and Garden.

Stan’s Trial is one of my fav eps too. I have a feeling my fic is going to be fairly long. Its rather epic in scope 😳 But if anyone is willing to read it that would be fantastic! Since most of my friends think Lexx is too weird 🙁
