Farscape: Character Bios: Moya
Moya is a Leviathan, a race of living space ships. They certainly don’t look organic, but Moya is curvaceous and sleek and behind the hull are numerous veins and hull tissues.

Moya is a Leviathan, a race of living space ships. They certainly don’t look organic, but Moya is curvaceous and sleek and behind the hull are numerous veins and hull tissues.
TV Show
Pilot is the rather unimaginative name for the pilot of the Leviathan space transport, Moya. There is an individual Pilot in each Leviathan. He comes from a planet where the dream of every member of his species is to travel the stars, steering a great Leviathan spaceship.
TV Show
Chiana is the latest addition to the crew of Moya. She is sexy, streetwise and an impetuous young thief.
TV Show
He is 26 inches tall but a very large character indeed. What he lacks in physical size, he makes up for in gall and cunning. He is lazy (he doesn’t walk very much, but prefers to sit on a hovering transport) and all the things we would expect a spoiled, petulant little brat would grow up to be.
TV Show
KA D’ARGO is played superbly by Anthony Simcoe. If you were to meet D’Argo in a pub he’d be being chased by a large group of zoo-keepers. – He would escape.
TV Show
This is one of those rare people that is aggressive without being macho, pretty sexy without being helpless, she’s scary without being frightening and a bloody pain in the bum most of the time.
TV Show
This is a big, tough thug. He’s been billed as thoroughly unpleasant and who the hell can blame him!?
TV Show
Inara is a ‘Companion’, which is the modern day euphemism for prostitute. Yes, Inara is the ships bike! (though a ride on this bike will cost you a fortune!)
TV Show
Book is the ships moral guidance. He’s older and supposedly wiser than the rest of the crew.
TV Show
This super-sweet ships engineer has a thing for Simon. Basically, she fancies him like mad. She probably doesn’t know it yet, but Jayne fancies her too!
TV Show
Captain Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds is the Serenity’s captain. He has a sharp sense of humour and yet suffers under the belief that the destruction of the existing political and social institutions (i.e. the Alliance) is necessary for future improvement of life the universe and everything.
TV Show
Overall I was disappointed with th episode which was strange since Joss Whedon had said that this was his best script to date!
TV Show
River is a borderline psychic although she’s more likely a borderline schizophrenic.
TV Show
Simon Tam is the argumentative (at least with the Captain) ships doctor. He is a fugitive after he used all his resources to rescue his sister (River) from those no-good hoodlums, the Alliance.
TV Show
Trevor is the epitome of the archetypal mad scientist. He is particularly dangerous however, because he is also a political leader. He is the senior political power in Bregna though we often see him in certain episodes answering to others.
TV Show
Aeon Flux is the archetypal action goddess. Beautiful, acrobatic, has a wonderful figure and not too clingy in her relationships with members of the opposite sex!
TV Show
They’re not monsters. What they are, are people who went out into space, saw the extraordinary nothingness and went completely out of their heads.
TV Show
A government established after the bitter civil war six years earlier.
TV Show
Zoe is the drop dead gorgeous right hand girl of Captain Mal. She served with him during the war and apparently he saved her life so I guess she feels partly indebted.
TV Show
Wash is the all seeing and competent Serenity driver. He’s also the lucky git who’s married to Zoe. Despite this he is unassuming, quiet and pretty easygoing which is a complete load of bollocks in my book!
TV Show
Overall the show was pretty good. I still have issues with the crappy science and the way they seem to want to ignore basic physics at the expense of the Wild West motif.
TV Show
The Train Job hardly made its mark as the first episode of a cult TV Sci Fi series did it? Sure it was fun and exciting and some of the graphics and dialogue were pretty cool, but this was a bit crappy
