Ummm, But I *want* to see the other 300 pages!!! Come on, I can take it!
Kai was reunited with and then lost his Brunnis-2 GF tragically during the doomed defense of his homeland. On the heels of that rekindled reunion and the emotion that goes with it, he also lost everyone else he ever cared about and indeed even the planet of his birth. Oh and he became dead and was violated as a person during the transformation from dead Brunnen-g to divine assassin.
It is possible that he might…. Need a bit of time to work this all out and do the grief acceptance thing. None of which would be made any easier by his becoming a Brunnen-g Popsicle every time he turned around. After all time stops for you when you are flash frozen But then just when he is starting to warm up to Xev…. She dies tragically, saving him. Sorrow and regret, two mental scars for the price of one. You must admit that in Kai’s experience, emotional closeness has not been rewarded in a very, very long time…
On the other hand Zev and Xev were not exactly Rocket Surgeons. After all Tina did talk a good game, and I imagine that a society of immortal beings put a high value on intelligence… Since you would not want to spend eternity partnered with someone who’s idea of literature was ‘People Magazine’.
Hummm, What type of lightsaber would Xev use? Choices being Count Dooku’s bent hilt.
Long, sleek, and thin.
Long and thick.
Normal-sized with big knob at end.
Big and clunky with two parallel grips.
Big with metal blade that covers the hand.Not that an amusingly shaped end would not be in keeping with the Lexx theme but I think long, sleek and thin would be best.
But it was a great cap, I looked at the dvd and didn’t notice it. And Splarka is the greatest isn’t he?

I have sent copies to Ms. Dubin, Mr. Kanies and Ms. Z. So far I have heard back from the bunny and honey pair. They just loved them Pet, Ms. Z thought wrote “I love those drawings! SO amazing!” And I have to agree, tthey are super cute!

She has some other books on her own site from the small press publishing company she runs. I was particularly taken with the book ‘Stories That Won’t Make Your Parents Hurl.’ Which is described as collection of stories that will scare any 20th or 21st century child into behaving, just as those of the Grimm Brothers have scared so many previous generations straight.

Well as high a res as you have I would immagine. A t-shirt transfer is generally 11×15 So large enough not to get lost I would immagine. They could always be scaled down, but scaled up doesn’t work as well. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

In fact sig’s owner had suggested grouping the baddies and the goodies. Which is what I was going to do. On one side, HDS, Prince, Mantrid, Giggy, ect…. on the other side Kai, Stan, Xev, Lyekka, Thodin, Time Prophet, and the moth breeders ect…
The only quandary I have is BUNNY! She has played good, but now she is hanging with the wrong crowd. Does this make her bad by association? [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] She sees evil but does nothing to stop it?

Oh the Dragon Con parade banner is well on it’s way to becoming a lock. I contacted one of the Lexx.com’ers (Divine_Tyrannosaur) and he said we can jump off of his original design. Our very own HDS has a machine that can print it up to 24″ wide, which is plenty for what we need to do. He has sent me his machine specs. I will check with a few of my sign shop supply vendors as soon as they are done with the end of the year crap and see if there is a sign velum (substraight) that will run directly through the machine. We bought a few for work that were printed on a kind of smooth plasticy-clothlike material, so I am fairly confident that it is possible. If not we can still do smaller transfers with a painted background or totally paint it. Whooo Hooo!
Okay, those of you who have been in band. What is a good finished size for a banner being carried by two people?

Actually I loved reading the little house on the Praire books. I use to read them to theBrothers, when they were little. And they really got into them I could tell. Especially when one of theBrothers heated up one of my mothers antique irons on the kitchen stove just like the girl in the stories did. I like Pratchett, Bujold, Zelazny and Asprin was good in his day. In the past I have enjoyed Clavell (Shogun) and Gary Jennings (Marco Polo and Aztec) amd the publishing epics of the 80’s and early 90’s.
And I am here to tell you that I am not ashamed to admit that I LOVE Harry Potter. 😛 It will be a childrens classic just like ‘The City of Gold and Lead”, Laura Ingalls Wilders stuff, and “A Swiss Family Robinson.” [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] You watch.

Ms. D has a convention agent who has contacted DragonCon. Apparently the organizers of Dragon Con will consider Ms. Dubin and let the Convention Agent know in February after they have their first meeting.

Actually the leap out and grab you by the throat Red was approximately what I was going for. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] (I thought it particularly appropriate with the vampire theme, and to GRAB attention.) I doubt very much if the printability of a banner is much going to affect someones mouse clicker. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
Hummm, well I do like the jpg better, but if speed it what you are looking for, I guess it is dotty spotty land.
But I would suggest that when quick readability are what is important, (Since you have a very short time to grab someones attention) drop shadows do not enhance the over all look as much as they detract from the sharpness and readability of the text.
IMHO, But hey, I could be wrong. It hasn’t happened yet… but you never know. After all there is a first time for everything. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
