BEM Episode 2 Anime Review – Awesome, you’ll love it!

The direction of the show was great and the development of the lead character was wonderful.  I have such a crush on Bela, who I am positive is the older sister of Cat Girl from Gegege no Kitaro! The story was really good and the shock of a supernatural villain bringing us down to earth from a teenage high school drama was terrific!  Lots of fun!

In this episode (called The Heart of a Fire Soldier) we are introduced to a new character Arthur Boyle. Shinra and Arthur grew up in the same academy and Shinra, who always had trouble with communicating effectively, suffered a little jealousy because of the seamlessly easy manner that Arthur managed relationships with people.

Cop Craft – Review – Episode 1

Before watching I was frightened that it could be a silly fan-service, crime flirtation full of girly blushes and macho stupidity – all knickers and guns. I was pleasantly surprised.  The two main leads were equals in every respect, both with clear personalities and motivations and completely different cultures. It was over in what seemed like 5 minutes.

The Ones Within – (Naka no Hito Genome) – Review – Episode 1

We weren’t allowed to see anything other than their two dimensional personas which seemed flat and shallow. I found myself not caring of any of them managed to accomplish the levelling exercise or not. I guess the over the top nice dude with the allergies was just about tolerable, but …. naa not really, he was a just a limp dick where as all the others were just dickheads.

Kanata no Astra – Review – Episodes 1 & 2

This is a great show, the graphics are great, it’s set in space and space sure feels vast and intimidating.  The character design is good with clear personalities capable of displaying a broad range of emotions and reactions all acted by excellent voice actors. There are elements of drama, comedy and suspense.
