Nope, I was not the person who orginally banned her, nor did I even request it. But, since at the time it was very justified, when it finially dawned on me that she was back and ‘hey wasn’t she banned’ I did ask about it. And I totally agree with it, stife follows this woman like famine follows war.
Three days for it to register with me… I was busy I tell ya, busy…. I am not getting too old honest. I don’t care what you say I am NOT past it! Honest! 😛

I can’t beleive you posted that crap on the bboard about me being ‘permanently’ banned.I registered again this week using the SAME ISP I’ve always had and if I’d been banned, it would not have accepted it. I’ve posted for 3 days and Tony even posted right behind me and said nothing about me being’ ‘banned”.
Ive NEVER been formally banned from this site, just left of my own accord.
You’re just using this as an excuse to make it appear as if I’d been banned, when in fact, I’d left this board long ago due to crap just like this being done to others and myself for no reason.
You could have at least had the courtesy of asking Saddy’s before you pushed your little button..
How rude of you, but why am I surprised??
I plan to send an email to Tony about this and others will see just how unfair you are to ban someone for absolutely no reason, when JJ and others can swear, post nudity and flame others without any banning whatsoever.

As a side note, we did check with the Ban-er to see if the Ban was still in effect.

While I cannot pretend to know what all goes on at Lexx.com I have spoken with several of the mods there and was told that she (and they – Hds and company) were told to shape up or ship out when she got into that big fight with HDS and a few other people about a year ago.
And yes, I would imagine she has been a model poster since. She pretty much would have had to be yes? She was banned from here, and scifi Lexx was turned into a ghost town which means that of the major Lexx boards that was the last one left for her.
I have met Maya on several occasions (she lives a few towns down the road from me) I once spent quite a bit of time in a private chat room that she was eventually bounced out of (I had nothing to do with that, since I was there as a guest) and I originally tried to convince certain parties here that she was not all bad. Know what? After witnessing some of her tag-team attacks on others (on several boards) I decided I was wrong.
Perhaps they are mirgrating all their sites to another hosting company? Since as someone pointed out (Gela?) that it occurred on the 1st that is possible.
And as we know from Saddy’s problems last year that seldom goes smoothly. 🙁

Logan, Maya was responsible for much stife here and she was a major player in driving many, many people from the unmoderated Scifi/Lexx board.
There was also much, much stife on Lexx.com that she participated in until they told her to cool her wools or else. She is apparently not a happy camper unless she gets her way and the last word and doesn’t seem to mind going to scorched earth to win.

You know I had the same thing happen to me with the Nine Princes in Amber series by Zelazny. I got into the series late (like book 7) and was in such WOW! But waiting for the last three books killed me. I had a bad case of ‘Whatever’ by the time the last book arrived. Bummer yes, but after a few years when I started re-reading the series I re-discovered my WOW. 😀
I imagine that much the same thing will happen with the Potter books.

Actually no, I beg to differ with you. Amazingly enough, when a site is entirely revamped some setting do not automatically carry over.
And this was not something noticed until said banned poster re-apeared.
I thought Snape looked a lot better in this movie than the previous ones. He looked less oily/greasy. And of course seeing Alan Rickman in a dress was a hoot. Yeah Neville!
The gentleman (Michael Gambon) now playing Dumbledor did a good job. While not as grand looking as Richard Harris the change was not as jaring as I might have thought.
Actually I have many things that I would like to say, but the man is dead. He and his family suffered for many years before he died and no matter how I feel about his presidency, I would not wish those last few years on anyone.

Well I had emailed Headge about the avatar apparently right about the time you were waging war with him.
I had noticed the two ladies kissing, but let it slide by, the school girl-ish bare bum one kinda caught ones attention. Just a bit over the top. And…. it was banwidth stealing…. admittedly from a soft porno site but still. That is what propelled me to complain. It would be one thing to be offensive, but to be offensive, stealing and linking sad’s to a porno site all in one fell swoop was a bit much for me.

While it is possible that AA got snippy since they now own Lexx, it is pretty unlikely that they would care.
Most likely the board got glitched somehow. And since Mr. D is not his own live in tech support dude, it would have to wait until he found out, then wait til he could get someone to fix it.
So either Mr. D is out of pocket and hasn’t heard, no longer cares, or can’t get hold of his fix it dude.
Of course he may have already contacted fix it dude, who may be too busy with his full time job to start yet…. or truly stumped.
Just a thought.
Not bad, I think the face features needed lowered a bit. Also the ear, on most people the outside of the eye is more or less even with the area where the top of the ear attaches to the face. The lips were very good.

Somewhere in between there has to be a happy medium. On one extreme, you have interesting people and discussions either fleeing or being hounded till there is no one left to care. On the other hand, you have no one who can post other than the party line. (Think the Roomba Yahoo Group)
But I do think a poster who goes out of their way to consistantly aggervate as many posters and moderators as possible knows that banning is coming down the pike. And since none of it took place in any of my forums…… what can I say…. it was time to tie up my pony-tail and get down to some serious scrapping. 😀 Ah well, headge knows he did right…. I just wanted to complain a bit about it. 🙂
Naw, Kim Possible is totally awesome. I love Wade and I lust after his system. Ron is hysterial and reminds me very much of Captain Stan, and hey… what can ya say about Kimmie (as Shego calls her) how many other action hero’s wear ‘off the rack’ clothes. 🙂 Greatness, I tell ya, greatness.

When I have a problem, I start playing around with it in my art program. I use Micrographx WindowsDraw4 mostly…. not as powerful as Photoshop, but quicker for down and dirty stuff.
I took the pic, pasted two copies and then cropped only the ear out of one. I then used a twin tool to make the hair cover the ear (which was too too hight I think) on the original and then erased the cheek area from the cropped ear and started to play around with it. I ended up moving it down, in and rotating it by 4 degrees.
Were I the artist, I would save this to a png or jpg and then use the paint program to blend the edges once I was happy with it. Can the ear go down a smige more? Perhaps rotate another degree or two? Possibly, but that is up to the artist. You can also use this kind of cut and past cropping to decide if eyes are where you want them, nose is place right…. ect…What do you think?
P.s. I forgot to fix this before I uploaded it. Cover one side of the drawing and then the other. See. The left eye is looking to the right, while the right eye is looking directly at the viewer. Easy fix. Add a bit more dark to the left side of the left pupil until both eyes are looking at the viewer.
Well perhaps we should say, it would not translate to the big screen at any of the local movie-plexes * we * go to. 😯 Possibly, there are a few movie screens in certain industrial areas of town that would play it and do quite well. 😀
Well I don’t know about that Strudel… I understand there is already a fic out where Kai finds his hidding place by interogating Torben’s Daughter. If I am not mistaken the story would have to start after that or complete forgo anything but an X rating. 😆

Niles would have to woo Daphine away from the dead dude, while Fraiser tries to find out what exactly Stan needs to do to over come Xev’s refusal of him. (Since you are both stuck on this ship alone together, it makes no sense for you not to get along better.)

However, I will admit that despite trying several times to watch the Buff one, I never did get through a whole episode. She reminded me of every annoying whining teen I had ever had to deal with. So no buffy for me! But… that just leave more fandom for the rest. 😉

Staying off site and renting a car is a big no-no UNLESS you have something in the area you want to see.
Parking at the Hotel is hard to get and expensive… like $15.00 a day or something like that. Otherwise you will end up parking blocks away and hoofing it. And even then it is still not cheap.
Staying off site with three other people becomes a logistical nightmare. Having to meet up at certain times, not being able to leave when you want to… or having to leave when you don’t want to because someone else is tired or not feeling well. ect…. Also having to shlep everything with you all day long….. nightmare.
There will almost certainly be people at the Hyatt… and even if the people you want to see are at the other con host hotel the Marriott. Well heck that is only across the street.
Trust me, it will be much more cost effective in the long run to stay at one of the Host Hotels. Me? I will be across the street at the Marriott, since that is where the fan table will be and all the exhibits halls are.

The books are freaking doubling in size…. as a one parter we are talking either chopped to no end… which Rowlings would hate. Or an extrordinarly expensive bladder buster long movie. And a two parter lets then stay truer to the story while getting twice the revenue. 😀
I don’t see the problem in a two parter. They can film at once… finish and release part one, while doing post production on part two.
Then having milked all they can, release part two six months later just as they release the video of part one.

Stan and Zev going back in time would be interesting…. except their arrival at that exact time that whiney brat Kai was alive would be a bit of a coincidence yes? Not that is might not work since Xev would finally get some, teen hormones being what they are…. and while they were there they could get the treatment to live forever… helpful if they want to spend the next millennia trying to right evil until whiney brat Kai emerges as grumpy assassin Kai.
Unfortunately this would violate the most sacrad tenet of Lexx, there shall be NO time travel!!!! So sayth the Beans…. long may they live supreme!!!
