And yeah, sometimes Stan chasing is a bit tedious, but it’s always fun to see what they come up for him NOT to get any. hrmmm, I just realized that Stan and the Lexx have something in common. Every planet that meets Lexx blows up and every woman (besides Xev) that meets Stanley dies. EEgads!*gurgle

I got curious, as I ussually do. My Other pointed out that it was gonna be on SciFi, so I watched it. I was surprised the Lexx was the name of the ship.

I’m wondering what’s gonna happen to poor Stanley. They left him hanging. And I’m not going to spoil this next episode for myself. I like the surprises!

Yep, just as I figured, the sewer gases are too much for him. I think it’s rusting his innerds.
I don’t want moralistic do-hickeys in Lexx. That is one of the things that attracted me to it. You really don’t know what is gonna happen, just like real life. Well, OK, you figure the planet will get blown to bits and someone is gonna die. But how and when? Will it be an accident? On purpose? and who’s gonna do the dirty deed?
In Stan’s Trial, I loved when Kai said something to the effect of “I will do the just thing.” Referring to the fact that he would kill Stanley if it was ruled that he should die. Made me go, whoa! Kai isn’t loyal like I thought he would. A nice surprise, not what I expected at all.
Ranting along, I like being surprised. I’ve seen so many formula shows, that I can tell how the story will end before the first fifteen minutes are over. The sex and amoralistic violence makes the show different and surprising.
*pant, pant* OK, I’m done now.

I loved Stan and Xev taking time out and basically comforting each other. Sometimes in life, we should all do that!
Hey, I’m female and thought Xev taking Kai’s pants off was…stimulating (does that make me more than a aspiring sadgeezer? ;p ) But I felt sorry for poor Kai. He was in a bad way.
I found the Mantrid story fascinating. I had wondered if people were reminded of who they were, would they remember anything? My opinion is that Mantrid tried to remember, wanted to remember, but really didn’t. He was just reverting at the end, not really remembering.
I can’t wait for the next ep!

The movie made just a teensy more sense, too! Oh, and fast forward through the brain scene, eeewwww.
At the end, I thought, wow that was great. Play that DVD again!

Keep the surprises and the humor. Keep the artistic feel to it. (costumes, music, sets)
Please keep the teasing and surprises. For an example, to be really evil, and it’s just a thought, let Kai live, then kill him just as Xev is getting something. Ahem, but that’s only if you wanna be really evil.
