And speaking from a lazy persons point of view, you don’t have to wait to rewind the suckers either. That is A+ in my book.
Also, DVD’s don’t take up as much space as VHS tapes. And if you have to stop in the middle of the movie, for whatever reason, you aren’t gonna ruin the DVD if you eject it, and you have those cool chapter selections, so you can pick up where you left off.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder. What about the violent aspects of the show? Are there problems pertaining to that? And the unique voices of it? Who would do the voice overs?

After seeing the “All your base are belong to us” translations, would there be problems in the translation? Would they even bother to translate it? Questions, questions, questions, who has the answers, answers, answers? (I just got done reading a post from Valdron. It makes one feel a tad loopy.)

    Just kidding Val.

OK, so Lexx will air on Saturday starting July 28th, replacing Jules Verne. So what happens to Jules Verne after that? They don’t say.

Poor little things must still be angry about the last maze they were put through. I guess the gerbils are out for some revenge.

I’m on the bandwagon with you on that point, BlackCloud. Shows should end when the creators are ready for it to end. If it’s just not happening on the creative side, then it’s painful to watch a show because it’s obvious that something is missing.

Where these replies go, I’m not sure, but I must tell you, that hubby is a Pepsi addict. I can’t get him near that Pineapple stuff! I go into shock when he actually drinks a glass of water (once a week)

So my scientific tests were for naught. He saw through the dyed juice mixed with carbonated water. And trying to slip it into milk was an utter disaster (all puns intended). And he woke up to me hovering over him with a glass of cold juice. He gets up before me now, drat it! Onward! bwa hahahaha.

I have been wondering about the sensations of the souls that are floating around, like where Kai’s and Stan’s souls were shown to be. Are they reliving events while they wait to wake? What determines when a soul will awake? Do they feel any pleasure or pain due to the respective planets they are on? What is their reality while they wait?

Also, why was Kai’s brace floating out of his arm in one scene? Did Sci Fi cut something, like him trying to shoot it and it failing? Just wondering.

Seeing as how 790 recieved the love slave brainwashing and the first thing he see’s he automatically falls in love with and seems to have a built in hatred of Stanley what would happen if stan had fixed 790 and Stan where the first and only person 790 saw how would he react would the two cause him to malfunction or what?

*think, think, think* If 790 remembers his hatred of Stan, think of the havoc that could cause on him! “Oh, Stan, you big luscious hunk you….ick! what am I saying?”

tehe, OH the possibilities! Seeing as I’ve only experienced this sort of love/hate …well, nm, we all have experienced beer goggles, right? So there is no need to further explain that sort of ambiguity. (did I spell that correct? Hope so.)

Either way, Brunnen G just sounds real funky! It just slides off the tongue.

I just gave fodder to the folks splashing in the gutter. Be slightly gentle!

(This bit is interesting) He is represented as a strong and beautiful god, in the bloom of youth, with gleaming eyes and waving locks, a crown of rays upon his head…he is the All-seer because his rays penetrate everywhere. He is revealer of all that is done on eath. He is accordingly invoked as a witness to oaths and somlemn protestations.”-The Dictionary of Classical Mythology, Religion, Literature and Art(Oskar Seyffert)

A whole page is filled with info about Helios. Interesting, you can see the possibilty of where Kai’s bun came from, if you overthink it!

If I could create computer games, I’d make this one! heh.

Can I kiss Aleck’s feet? *smooch*

On my informal polling, someone mentioned that they would like to see some games on the DVD’s. You never mentioned, so I was wondering, will there be any silly games to play?

Either date would work for me, but the 23rd seems the most attractive date.

I know of others who can’t make early June because of graduation ceremonies. I don’t know if anyone else is planning anything. If you find out, e-mail me, anyone! Please!

I don’t have the fundage yet, but if I get it, I will go anytime from last two weeks in May to Mid-August. I can’t plan for anything earlier and with beginning of the year school stuff, can’t go any later. I would be happy to spread the word if a date or something comes up. I think that is about all I can usefully do right now.

    Let me know.

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile, when someone had mentioned how great it is to be “logical.” I’ve ran into a lot of people through the years who just rave on how logic is fantastic. Ok, maybe it has it’s merits, but without emotions, how can you act on your logical conclusions?

I’m gonna use this board to rave on about emotions.

    What is an Artist?
It is the actor expressing what he is afraid to feel.
It is the painter drawing what he can not say.
It is the poet who doesn’t know any other way
    To express what lies beneath.
It is the muscian who shares his sadness through the notes
Because he can not say it with the words.
It is the writer who has a burning story to tell.
It is the director haunted by a vision.
It is the photographer who sees what others can’t.
It is the human form of pure emotion.
Without emotion, there is no art.

So emotion ain’t so bad. Harnessing it with an artistic form is the healthiest thing in the world.
