ParticipantThe MegaCon 2003 LEXX Experience was cool! Though all of us agreed that on a scale of 1 to 10, the MegaCon convention itself was a 4 and DragonCon is more like a 9 or 10. We have GOT to get these wonderful folks there this year!
I GOT ALL INTERVIEWS WITH ALL FOUR ACTORS! Xenia’s interview was the longest. As soon as I can, I will get them edited and uploaded. THEY WILL BE EXCLUSIVE TO SADGEEZER.COM ONLY! Just give me some time.
I was so stressed out with worrying about and arranging interviews that I had little opprotunity to visit with other fans at the party. Brian, Patty, Xenia, and Louise were so happy to see us that they wanted us to stick around for the last day of the convention on Sunday. But unfortunately, all of us had to leave on Sunday morning. Once the interviews were out of the way, I really wanted to stick around and rap with them about my ideas for a LEXX videogame, but I decided that I had to get going. I even considered staying another night and catching a bus or a plane on Monday!
I’m over at Tennessee Tim’s place right now, typing this post because my Comcast connection is Situation Normal All Fucked Up. But as soon as the film is developed I hope to provide a pic of the plant lady of Farscape with the plant lady of LEXX! (Once again, an exclusive of SadGeezer.Com!)
Cheery-bye!

Participant
:D It’s only days away now…just wanted to wish you good luck! And I’m curious…have you ever done a live interview before?
I’m sure you’re well-suited for it! Can’t wait!
Yes, but it’s been a while. I used to help teach a community access television class when I was in high school.I’m trying to prepare good questions. Not anything provocative, obscure, mushy or personal. I’ll leave to James Lipton and Barbara Walters.
Flamegrape
Participant*BUMP*
(For those who may havve missed it!)
Flamegrape
ParticipantAnything would help. But I need a copy of that interview so I don’t repeat any of the same questions. Also, it would be good inspiration for new questions.
Flamegrape
ParticipantI will go ahead and announce that I’m doing these interviews on the various bulletin boards tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll get some good questions.
The existing interviews here at SadGeezer have been valuable. However, I’m having a BITCH of a time trying to dream up questions for Louise! Does anyone have any past interviews with her? The one chat with her that’s here on the website was all Patty and Louise was just incidental. And I don’t want her to feel that she is an also-ran. I know all of the fans love her and I want it to reflect in the interview.

ParticipantI have never seen pop-up ads when I’ve visited SadGeezer. You probably have some sort of clandestine spy-ware on you computer. I recommend installing and running AdAware. That should get rid of the mysterious pop-up ads.
Also, once you get rid of these programs that are running in your background, your computer should run a little bit faster.

One night, she made a lucky connection at the Lizard Lounge–a disgruntled programmer working on the Lexx’s brain circuits offered to give her a tour of the ship and a lowdown on the accounting irregularities in the Bio-Vizier’s oversight department in exchange for certain, ummmm, favors.
They met on some long unused scaffolding near the Lexx’s midsection and proceeded to exchange *cough, cough* information. Through bad luck they picked the day the Lexx was stolen by a group of heretics and a rogue Divine Assassin–when the Lexx took off, the lines that tethered it to the scaffolding snapped and both were decapitated. Ironically, with the Cluster Lizard rampage, the disappearance of His Shadow, and the Cluster Cutie pageant happening on the same day, their deaths didn’t even make the evening news. Here’s an accurate review by Cindy Yans of Computer Games magazine:
quote:
Farscape
Rating: 2 out of 5 stars
Genre: spaced out shooter
Developer: Red Lemon
Publisher: Simon & Schuster
Requirements: Pentium III 450, 64MB RAM
Multiplayer: noneWhen Simon and Schuster announced the game version of Farseape, the show’s fans were thrilled. If you never saw the series, the designers still expect you to know quite a bit about this John Crichton man and this blue Chiana woman who crash-land on some planet, and also to know all about their organic spaceship Moya’s pregnancy and peril. How, though? Exposition is minimal and sketchy at best.
This is a mission-centered, team-based combat game at heart, but you control only one character at a time, and assign a behavior to his or her followers. Sadly, the most interesting and best fighter-characters are unavailable until very late in the game. So, there you are, confused about the char- acters’ relationships, and shooting every- thing in sight as you attempt to make your way toward the next goal-but don’t worry-at all times there is an annoying purple arrow on an unwieldy automap that constantly points you toward that goal. This does get you to point B more quickly, which is what you’re hoping for, as it doesn’t take long to tire of the numbingly boring gameplay. The weapon set is marginally interesting: you get to wield and assign chemical, energy, or physical weapons, and it becomes important to know your enemies’ weaknesses so that you will be able to mow them down appropriately.
The graphics are fuzzy and dated, and the locations are as uninspired as the level design. The interior of Moya is a let- down, as are the anticlimactic quest reso- lutions; the same is true of the top-down perspective that never zooms out far enough and the cheesy cutscenes designed to draw you into the mostly lame plot: What will please Farseape viewers the most is the game’s voice acting by cast members Ben Browder, Claudia Black and others, whose dialogue is well-acted and solid. It’s not enoughthough.
Red Lemon, creators of the sad excuse for a Braveheart game, seemed to have no feel for the soul of this gameworld either. Is name recognition enough? Farscape the series has been cancelled. The game was not. Nobody wins.

ParticipantOh yeah. Hadn’t you heard? This half-year ad campaign on the SciFi Channel led up to the real-life revelation that there really are aliens that visit Earth all the time. Didn’t you see the president of the United States make the announcement after the conclusion of the movie? Then there was a stunning documentary by Michael Moore where he’s given a personal tour of Area 51. Taken was, in reality, a two-week-long propaganda campaign to get the general public used to the idea that there are, in fact, aliens among us.
No one watched it?

ParticipantWell, well, well! I just got finished writing a reply to one of bonnee’s posts with the unleashed fury of a balrog on quaaludes:
http://www.sadgeezer.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=24&t=000060I wrote that seething rant with controlled purpose. I could see what bonnee was doing. So I went about carefully explaining to bonnee how I was going to deal with him. My intention was to put a flaming wedge between him and any potential victim. I wanted to distract completely from anything he might attempt. Since this thread was in the Angst forum and since bonnee hadn’t been banned, I took this as license to tear into him.
But the next thing I did was check the moderator forum and I find out that bonnee’s been banned! Heck, I suggested that a long time ago! bonnee is nothing but a creep that loves nothing more than to get people mad.
So should I delete my post? I say that my post should stay as it is. People should be educated about the behaviour of trolls. If his ban is lifted in a few weeks, he’ll post more miserable cr@p, with or without my post remaining.
I am good and ready to attack this b@stard and give him the verbal beating he deserves. But if you guys elect to delete my post, I’m fine with that. All that I’ll say is that it was made in the Angst forum, and I thought that was what that forum was all about.
Whatever you guys want to do, I’m fine with that.

bonnee, YOU are the one who needs to look at yourself. You are a loathsome and hateful person that likes to mask your sadness and anger in the guise of “criticism.” But the fact is that all you EVER do at this message board or any other is start arguements and get people angry.
What you are doing is simple. You are trying to artificially construct an arguement that reflects you in a reasonable light. Perhaps you are putting on this new performance for the benefit of “newbies” on the board. You haven’t been posting very much in the last few months. So maybe you think “the coast is clear.” Well, it isn’t. So instead of dancing around, playing some sort of useless game of feigned politeness, I’m getting straight to the point.
You are a creep. You are part of the world’s problems. Nothing that you argue will change this. You feed off of the misery of others. You create conflict for your own power games.
Now observe, everyone in the audience. Observe how bonnee will reply with more infuriating and unapolagetic essays attempting to carefully detail how I’m exactly the awful type of person I described above. This is a typical turn-table tactic. Next, I could respond to that with examples of why this is not true and generally waste time trying to defend myself.
This has all been bonnee’s attempt to detract from the original point, which was that Star Trek generally gets ridiculed in society. The real point is that the miserable and cynical people who criticise Trek are exactly like bonnee! There is no other reason why he would jump into this arguement after weeks of silence. It touched a nerve, obviously, and he had to put in his two cents.
And again, observe, people in the audience. At this point, bonnee would reply with a comment about how my first post in this thread well deserved his hateful comments.
Blah, blah, blah. We’ve been through all of this tedious BULLSH!T before! You keep an arguement going and going and going. Why? Because it pleases you. Think about it, you creep! Think about it really long and hard. For what purpose does your arguing serve? You really think you’re banging your head against the iron gates of an impeneterable conspiracy of cabalistic science-fiction fans? You poor, delusioned, Pink fool. Who do you think you’re trying to help? You’re not helping anyone by making others angry, miserable, or feel inferior. And that’s all you EVER wind up doing with your infuriating arguements.
What do you hope to accomplish? You seem to have this attitude that science-fiction television or movies must be a certain way to live up to your standards. Well, SCREW your standards! You’re missing the point completely! Fans get satisfaction out of sci-fi for their own reasons.
Now get on with your stupid reply so I can heap more and more endless abuse on your pathatic arguements. Oh, have you picked up on the fact that I have nothing but seething hatred for you? All you every do is start arguements with fans and get them angry. Well, I’m here to prevent that by getting you to focus entirely on ME. So go ahead, try to start something with anyone else. I’ll be there to get in the way. I’m not letting you abuse another fan.
