Mandara K – Looking for a very cheap place to stay for DC otherwise it’s a sleeping bag in the park with the whinos. Well, it’s not so bad, they usually share their bottles but I don’t want to lose my shoes :0. I’m usually a good roommate (if I get my way :)) as long as I don’t get a live porn show and you let me sleep when i need to! I smoke but I can go outside; and I drink but I can control myself (and if I drink too much I will kneel and worship his Divine Porcelain Bowl) Cheap place to lay my head and a shower once in a while is all I desire. I love a good scheduled chat. We still have the #sadgeezer room on fef.net. No, it is Yea us! We all did it, when a few little things were being nailed down, it was mentioned that a lot of interest was expected from the Lexx community. Apparently one of the DC staffers laughed and said that they were quite aware of the intensity of interest and support that Lexx had in the fan community. So indeed, yea us!!

Oh, I don’t know. I have certainly been concerned the last few days. 😉
But I have always found that if you give something your best shot, you will usually succeed. 🙂 Of course, life does not always give you exactly what you want, but if you do not focus on the things that don’t go exactly your way, you can enjoy the stuff that does happen.

Hummm, don’t thinks so. While misspelled some of those like Micheal and Xena are still pronounced like the actual names of people. In fact those and Drowny are common mis-spellings of the real names. 😀
Well the last monster one that was here was broken up in to chunks of about 15 pages a post. Make sure once you are done to go back and edit your posts with the links to the other sections.

No real way to get around that one except to use stand-in names. Use of real names with out permission gets a bit sticky and is not allowed.

Hi Storm!! Long time no see, you still popping up on #lexx?
Most BB develop problems with lots of use. This one for example has gone thru several changes to keep up with us and the posts. It could be a software problem being corrected or updated, it could be switching to a faster better (hopefully) server or it could just be that the post database became corrupted and needed to be reloaded and tidied up.
I did not see a change of ownership to the URL, in fact it was just recently renew for several years by Mr. Paul Donovan.
One possiblility is that a new board is going to be coupled with a new website for lexx.com. That would be a blessing, several highly talented old time fans have been after them for years offering to upgrade our ‘home’ in to a place that would be more interesting to the new fan. Possibly they finially decided to take them up on their offers. (long shot there, but would be great hey?)

I thought the guy did a good job on the pictures. but I have always been curious about the color of the outfit. Is there a problem with the oranish color on the cards? Or is that not a color he feels comfortable or dislikes working with?
I am trying it now Tony. It originially said it would be a bit over an hour to down load and ten minutes later it said 4 plus hours. I have a cable line and most stuff loads fairly good for me. So I am not sure if it is me or you.
I imagine it is a scheduling thing. You notice just about every con in the world has a disclaimer that ‘Star appearances listed are subject to change due to contractural agreements…..yatta-yatta-yatta’
In plain speak…. if filming runs late… or a really kick hiney offer is made…. said star will not attend. Like I said, standard stuff. However, I was relieved that last year Elvis WAS able to make Dragon Con. 😀

theBrother stopped following the series when Ms. Habberman left. He still watched it, but it was more, if it is on and I remember kind of watching. Apparently he found Ms. S to be a bit over drawn and irritating for Zev.
They do. I have heard that they are holding off accepting a very attractive offer to do three cons in Austraila where Lexx is in it’s final season.
It seems that one of the Aussie dates conflict with Dragon Con. I am not sure how that is going to work out. Apparently some of the cast have even chatted with the main office there, but still no joy. Let us hope for the best.

according to reports, Ms. Haberman had a major crush on MMM Twack for a while. And being a good director, Paul D took advantage of this chemisrty.
She was also very young when the Movies were made, So the whole girl from box experiencing things for the first time was not too far from actual life. (Not to suggest that Ms. H was raised in a box mind you 😀 )
I like Ms. X, but I do admit, that Ms. Haberman is what made me buy into the whole romance angle.
