Sadly I have gone on to second-hand sci-fi. Which is not unlike second-hand smoke. ๐Ÿ˜€ I normally experience this while chatting with them as their shows come on.

via theBrother BattleStar Galaticia (occassionally) or Stargate via theSpouse.

Baltar decides he is tired of listening to a blond semi-figment of his immagination. He’s looked around and decided the only one pretty enough to be his idea match is Apollo. Apollo, is a bit taken aback at this, but is considering playing hard to get. He thinks this will be an excellent way to get on his old man’s last nerve.

There’s a gun and ammunition just inside the doorway.
    Use it only in emergency.
Better you should pray to God, the father,
and the spirit will guide you and protect you from up here.

I am the only person who mentioned Han Solo? Helllllllllo What is with you people?

He is perfect! He is good looking, has his own space ship, can fix his own space ship, is smart, a true wise guy and did I mention how cute he is? How is it that I am the only one to see that he is sci-fi perfection personified?

    I like Deker too. ;D

Well you did not specify film or television, so here goes.

    5. Jim diGriz, also know as the Stainless Steel Rat – He is great, always looking for the main chance and a way to profit from it. ๐Ÿ˜€ I like his wife too. (Book – Harry Harrison)

    4. Kai – With the exception of a minor Proto-blood problem, a guy with no baggage is a find. He can also do your hair. What’s not to love.

    3. Spock – How can you not love someone surrounded by idiots who lets them live. What a guy.

    2. Miles Vorkosigan – Sure he is short, but you just have to love someone who doesn’t quit…. not even when he is barely back from the dead. (Books – Lois McMaster Bujold)

And number one is…… Han Solo. Again, what is not to love. ;D Smart-aleck cutie, who has his own space ship and…. a ‘pet’ that can not only take care of itself, but also rip off people’s arms. ๐Ÿ˜†

Really. Just think. Lots of them probably have ‘possessed by alien’, invaded ‘by hostil race’, ‘deep space trauma’ and ’eminent air loss’ looks down pat. This has to result in a great savings in time for the director.

What I need are very high resolution pictures of the various ships. So the picture can be blown up very large without a lot of blocky-pixel looks occuring.

If any one has a link like that to very high resolution pictures of ships from the following shows, please let me know.

    Lexx,
    B5
    Firefly
    Stargate
    Andromeda
    Battlestar Galactica

    Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

    Ewwwwwww.

Oh. my. heavens. This movie sucked soooooooooooooooooooo badly.

The Mr. Rogers voice and cadence was not enough to over come the channeling of other famous mannerisms. Johnny Depp is georgous, and I am told he would be in this movie, but I didn’t see him. ๐Ÿ˜‰ The only two people I liked in the movie were Charlie’s mother and dad.

The Ompa-lumpa songs didn’t cut it and that scary (bottle) blonde lady from the second Parent Trap was in it. *shudder*

Away it went. Returned with a rental fee deducted and glad of the oppertunity to rid myself of the darn thing.

TheFrey, yes, most of the time ๐Ÿ™‚ This year we had a wonderful 3 weeks in which the water was 28 degrees and the air was 40. Do you like that hot?

I currently live in Texas. The water in my spa is normally 40C (104F) in the winter time. It is currently winter here and todays tempeture is going to be 26C (80F) so the answer is yes, provided there is a properly air conditioned space to go to when I am tired of being outside.

Have you tried this site? Jeff Russel’s Star Ship dimensions http://www.merzo.net/ theBrother swears by it. Or at it.

Anyhow they have tons of info on the ships and links to more.

As far as a Jane’s book of space ships…. I haven’t heard of one, but I will ask theBrother when he gets home this evening. I would call him now, but he just popped over to borrow our compressor for a flat tire, so he is way not in a good mood this morning. ๐Ÿ˜•

If this site isn’t working for you, what other info are you looking for? Or do you just want it all in one book/site?

Would that be possible? Real ships and planes are public domain. This stuff would all be copyrighted, and finding and securing all the permissions would take forever I imagine. Goverments not being in the habit of sueing people for major bucks like your enterainment industry is.

I been to several places in Canada and once to Mexico…. but I have yet to get off this side of the world.

I have always wanted to go to England and Germany, so I will likely do that someday…. but I find that now in my old age I mostly want to go to warm places with crystal clear beaches. Cancun was verdy, verdy nice. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am pretty sure that once I move back to Pittsburgh and spend a few winters up there, this craving will intensify.

P.s. what is up with the crazy prices they ask for houses in California? Guys, I’ve been there, it is not THAT nice. ๐Ÿ™„

I wonder, they have two types of headstone, one voice only, one video…..

Hummm, when you record the video? If I am going to be visable for all time, do I really want to wait until I am old and sick to record it?

Hummmmm…. how long do you figure it would be until someone fixed their headstone so that rather than touch activated it would be motion activated? “Hey!!! You! Come’re a minute…….”

Also, what do you say? My first thought was to just scream at the top of my voice, “Being Dead So Sucks!” It would convey how I feel about it and scare the begeesers (or life even) out of someone activating it. ๐Ÿ˜†
