Well, you seem to be honest about that. You think you’re being nice to people but somehow it didn’t seem to come across that way. Oh, well. It’s hard to make it up to people that you’ve inadvertantly crossed.

It’s probably been brought up before, but my impression of the origin of the Lexx is rather simple. At the beginning of IWHS, His Shadow killed Kai and then picked up a piece of his bug-spaceship stating, “An insect. Curious…” (Or something like that.) I took this as foreshadowing. It seemed pretty clear to me that His Shadow took the pieces of Kai’s bug-ship, studied it’s biomechanical technology, and eventually built the Lexx. Keep in mind that when they made Tales From A Parallel Universe, it may have been just a “one-shot”, a movie with no real plans for a sequel. I think that after a couple of movies were made, they decided to tie in the insect civilization and His Shadow.

But I could be wrong, ya know. I haven’t read up on the subject in articles or interviews.

I don’t think DT was being all that snooty. It sounds like you’ve had a pretty bad day, Praxilla.

Myself, I tend to have faith in humanity.

Chips could be faked, forged or removed. If “The Man” has Big Brother-type uses for it, then the underground will inevitably have countermeasures. But I think I need to know more about this subject before I start blabbing a bunch of B.S.

The selective egg thing sounds like a good idea, in general. But there’s also the arguement that it’s just plain not natural.

The scanner sounds like a good weapon against terrorism. But I can see how it could have more dire uses.

You bring up really thoughtful questions.

Oh brother! I wasn’t going to say anything but…

I think “Lily” is just bonnee again posting under another name. The appearance of “Lily” is too cooincidental. Read the post again and think about it. It’s just more games.

One statement that “Lily” makes stands out:

“It seems that all Americans are violent bigots, all gay men are queens and all women are sexual bimbos.”

This is exactly the same sort of thing that bonnee stated under other psyeudonyms in other threads and other bboards. No, I’m not going to search through and look them up because I refuse to play bonnee’s game.

The guy is trying to artificially build a case in his favor by saying, “Look! Other people are saying the same things!”

I live in the southern United States and I dispise most team sports. I live in a state where american football is worshipped as God. No, not pro american football but college american football. On a scale of 1 to 10, the amount the college values it’s football team is 11 and the amount it values education is 0.

Some friends of mine are all a-buzz about going to see the U.S. football (soccer) team this weekend. They are not even a minority, they are an anomaly! I have far more respect for football (soccer) than american football. Strangely enough, I think rugby is even more gay (homo-erotic) than american football. I think the men in those sports enjoy rubbing up against each other. A gay man once told me that there are far more gay men in all of american football than there are in all of ballet. More rainbow power to ya, fellas.

The only type of sports that I enjoy watching is motor sports. Beleive it or not, I’m a fan of NASCAR racing. Why? Because I’m a redneck? NO! Far from it. I respect it because it’s a TECHNOLOGICAL sport. I’ve observed how it’s evolved down through the years and even from season to season! It’s all about a person’s knowledge of machines and how to use them. Even more astonishing is that there are actually a few women NASCAR drivers! Recently, I’ve become interested in Rally racing. Rally racing looks really difficult!

Some people live for dominating bboards. The best thing to do is to ignore antagonizing posts. Even if they write outrageous and insulting things that aren’t true. They want you to reply with an indignant defence. They enjoy seeing people squirm and suffer. It’s something akin to bullying, rape, or drowning kittens and gives the creep a false sense of empowerment.

My only criticism for you JJ, is something that Rachael pointed out. You posted many, many more posts at Lexx.Com than most all of the other people. I may be wrong, but that could have exposed you to dire criticism. You haven’t posted there much in the last few days and it’s been pretty quiet.

Such speculation is ultimately meaningless. All it does is give trolls satisfaction that people are confused or that anyone cares. Which I don’t.

Oh, I forgot to mention something about Mort! Has anyone in the USA noticed the coincidence of this episode and the case of the crematorium down in Georgia? In the episode, the part-time sheriff deputy accuses Mort of doing something suspicious with the caskets or bodies. It just so happens that this week a man in Georgia has been arrested for mishandling remains contracted for cremation by near-by funeral homes. Hundreds upon hundreds of bodies have been found around his property “out in the woods”, stacked like cord wood. The creep decided to save money by not creamating the remains and passing off cement powder mixed with random remains of others.

Was Mort the goriest Lexx episode ever? Some great horror movie tributes like Reanimator or Night of the Living Dead.

Did you get the feeling that Didi was a combination of Xev and Kai? Think we’ll see more of Didi? Maybe Gigerotta will eat her.

New texture was given to the trio. Since Stan was born under the rule of His Divine Shadow, we see his completely heartless outlook on life underscored. We see the same sort thing with Xev since she was raised in a wifebank. Even Kai added a new layer to his character with, “The dead are messed up.”

I think I’ll create some mp3s of Xev from this episode! LOL!

What made you think of this, Bonnee? The recent episode of Lexx where they lounge about in some house in Ohio, watching the “viewscreen”? (lol)

Here’s a theory that I came up with a while ago; it’s just a feeling I have. The television is the replacement for the hearth or the stone-age campfire. A place around which a household usually gathers.

However, sick obsession with video happens. But I don’t think it’s as rampant as alcoholism. I have heard a story about a local woman who was truly mad. She had at least half dozen televisions and VCRs. She felt compelled to videotape everything. The rooms of her house were completely filled with videotapes. Apparently, they “took her away” to get help. (No joke, it’s a true story.)

Also, he pointed out there there is some sort of mysterious connection between scandinavian women and waffles. I agree with him.

When you want to put an image in a post, you need to have your image uploaded to a webpage directory. Such an image can be accessed using any webbrowser.

Many internet providers allow for personal webpages, such as AOL. Myself, I pay about $20 (U.S) a month for 500 megabytes of webpage space for my own website, Flamegrape.Com.

There are ways to obtain free webpages, but you might have problems putting such pictures in posts.

But once you have your image uploaded to a website directory, follow these instructions:

    1. When you compose a message, you will see various “Message Icons”, a space to type in your message, and below that a number of buttons labeled, “Instant UBB Code”. Find a button labeled “Image” and press it.

    2. You should get a prompt for a URL address. Enter the URL of your picture file.

    3. This will place the UBB code with the URL reference at the very end of your post. If you would like to place the image at a specific point in your post, cut and paste the UBB code.

Shortly before series 2 of Lexx, Björk auditioned for the part of Xev Bellring of B3K.

I think it accurately portrayed the sickness that is suburbia very well! What the hell is this strange obsession with lawns? No, seriously! What compells people to turn tracks of land into deserts, cultivating only one type of plant that serves no purpose! Suburbia makes you crazy. Just look at those twisted kids.

I was thinking of a new, simple, and streamlined design for SadGeezer.Com. I’m still toying with ideas. Purple and green, of course. However, I’m torn between the white-text-on-black page design and the black-text-on-white page design. Black on white is better, easier on the eyes. But would it require massive re-formating of all pages already in existence? It can be done but it would take time.

I can create pages at http://www.flamegrape.com/sadgeezer/ where you guys can look at my experiments. (Don’t look right now, I haven’t created the directory yet…)

I could do it… eventually. Not in the next few days or weeks. After a great deal of careful work, I could replicate the Kai and Stan characters using a couple of 3-d programs, Poser and 3d Studio Max. Elfie had started on a Xev character model, but that was weeks ago and I don’t know if she ever got anywhere with it.

I was hoping to work on low-polygon-count Kai, Stan, and Xev models for use in a videogame. That will take long enough. However, I have worked on some character sheets for use as reference.

3d character models would make for good content in a fan art section. It would help to illustrate fan fiction.

Oh, GOD, where do I begin! I’ll let others post the obvious reasons.

Is is some kind of law where kids on sci-fi shows are automatically boy-geniuses?

If you stop and think about it, you don’t find anyone like that on Babylon 5. In fact, JMS mandated the absence of child prodigies and robots in B5. (That one kid with telekinetic powers was killed for his cuteness! HA!)

Even though I’m not a big fan of Deep Space 9 (because it was a lame copy of B5), I liked Jake Sisko. He was a writer, not some kind of typical sci-fi boy-genius.

Also the actor, Wil Wheaton, is f***ing pr|ck! I was close to respecting him and his Wesley character when I saw him make that dumb-ass pass at Roxanne Dawson (Voyager’s Torres) on that special episode of The Weakest Link. Now I really hate ’em!
