Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
I’m finished adding the fancy yarn to my 1st pair & took some pics of me wearing the costume, I’ll be wearing in the daytime; as soon as I can, I’ll put them on 1 of my boards, then show them to you.
I’ve already started work on my 2nd pair, using a stencil & some fabric paint & markers; after I do both legs, using the stencil & fabric paint, I’ll then add some flowers, from the waist to about mid-way down. After I get finished with these pair, I’ll take some pics of the outfit, add them to a board & show them to you.
I’ll keep you informed on how this project’s going & when I add them to my board.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
I’m finished in making some polymer clay canes, 2 of them my own creations, & made a couple molds for the tips of my arrows; this afternoon, after lunch, I’ll start making the tips, using the canes. I’m not going to bake them, until I make as many tips as I do stems; them I’ll add them to the stems, then add some feathers, to make them, more arrow-like.
I’ll keep you informed on how this project’s goin & how to make similiar tips for you arrows.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
I’ve just started making canes out of polymer clay; they’re both familiar canes & canes of my own creation. Later on today, I’ll be making more polymer clay canes, then either Sunday or Monday, I’ll start making the tips, using the canes that I’ve made with the clay; I’ll keep you all informed on how this project’s going & how to make tips, using polymer clay canes.

Hi Fellow Star Wars Fans,
I finally got to see the movie, last Wenesday & was impressed & amazed of how well done it was; in fact, it was 100-200% better than episode II. The movie answered a lot of questions about why things happened the way they did in the next 1 (A New Hope); I also learned of why Anakin turned out the way he did & how his children got to be where they were in the next movie. But I thought that Palpatine was spooky before, he definitely was in this movie; & know I know that Ankakin & Obi Won 1st fought in this movie, then in the other 1. When this comes out on DVD, I’ll definitely get it & show it to my parents; it’s 1 of the top 3 on my Star Wars list. ๐Ÿ™‚
Here’s my list of Star Wars stories:
1) episode IV: A New Hope
2) episode VI: Return of the Jedi
3) episode III: Revenge of the Sith
4) episode V: Empire Strikes Back
5) episode I: The Phantom Menace
6) episode II: Attack of the Clones[/list:u]

I’m finished making my 2 Keyeo/Prince costumes & am currently working on the bow & arrows.
After lunch, today, I’ll be taking a picture of the Nighttime costume & as soon as I can, I’ll add it to Myspace & share it with you; I’ll also share the daytime Keyeo/Prince outfit along with it.
I’m covering the wire hanger, using orange foam board & will add somemore this after noon; I’ve already twisted the stems together & will add the tips, using polymer clay canes, sometime this month. I’ve also made holders for my arrows, using toilet paper rolls & blue foam board; I’ll keep you informed on how this project’s going & how to make the tips, using polymer clay canes.

Let’s give it a chance, before tearing it down; besides, the new generation probably has never seen past `Dr Who’ shows, so this will be their Dr. Of what I’ve seen at Gally, it looks like it’ll be pretty good, with new monsters, a companion who doesn’t scream all the time & a Dr who will look like us; I’m willing to give it a chance if you are. & I’ve already met 2 of the writers & they have high hopes for the show; & who knows, it might be as successful as previous shows. I can’t wait to see it, when it comes here to the states.

I’ve always wanted to meet her &, this yr, I’ll finally get my chance; now, if they can resolve issues with John Levene, then this will be a truly UNIT Gally, only without Caroline John.

It’s been done before as a panel at DC 2003, so I think it can be done 1 more, especially for those of us who missed the last 1; I also think other episodes can also be done as long as it’s done in good taste.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
After having a good breakfast & still in Niagra, Ontario, we packed our bags, then watched the channel with the news/weather/traffic, to see when the Queen E. would clear up enough for us to use; once it had cleared, we packed the car, checked out of the hotel & headed back to Toronto. As soon as we were on the Queen E., I knew we were heading towards Toronto.
After we arrived at our last hotel, we checked in, brought all of our bags to the room & went to get something to eat; after we came back, we started repacking our bags & got ready for our trip home, both in the states & California. On the morning of 9/30, after having a satisfying breakfast, we finishing repacking our bags, checked out of the hotel & headed towards the airport; we were saddened to leave, but glad that we had such a memoriable journey.
As we were heading towards the Toronto International Airport, it took us many roads & alleyways to get to the Terminal & the Parking garage; after we got our bags out of the car, we headed towards the Terminal, went upstairs & waited for my mom to get something stamped. We then checked our bags in, then went through US Customs, before going through Security; after going through Security ok, we went to the Minneapolis gate & waited for the plane to arrive. After boarding the plane we took our seats & were glad that my mom changed our seats, so I wouldn’t have to sit near the engine; I slept most of the way to the Minneapolis Airport.
After arriving at the Minneapolis Airport, we looked for where the Sacramento gate was & headed for the gate; since we had a 2 hr wait, my mom & I explored a bookstore & a couple of other places, before heading back to the gate. After we boarded the plane, my mom got the window seat & I got the isle seat; once the plane was in the air, they served us some dinner. It wasn’t much, but was enough to get by; I slept a lot of the way there & did some other things.
Once the plane landed at Sac. Airport, we went downstairs to meet our ride; we then got our bags, headed for his car & on our way home. After we got home, the driver helped us bring our bags in, then welcomed us back home; we then crashed for the night & took us awhile to get back to the swing of things & normalacy. I’m glad to have gone to such a beautiful place & will have memories that will last a lifetime.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
After heading back, in the elevator, we went inside the Maid in the Mist Gift Shop; it’s a big shop that has a lot of neat stuff in it, including some Native American stuff in the back. I bought a small bear, named Niagra, & a Maid in the Mist Tote bag; my dad bought himself a Native American t-shirt, then sat down for a bit. After resting a bit, listening to a band play & heading towards the hotel, my mom & I took a picture of Rainbow Bridge.
After we all got in the car, we drove around Niagra Park; we then parked the car & walked around the Botanical Gardens. My mom & I tooks a lot of pics of the park, then sat down to rest; while resting, my mom & I took a picture of a horse, pulling a carriage, going by us, then we walked around the Gardens some more. We then went on the other side of the road, where I took a picture of the Niagra River; I took some more pics of the countryside, then we went back to the hotel to rest up a bit.
Both the Botanical Gardens & the Butterfly Observatory are located North-east of the Falls; the Niagra River is across the roa & they are just a beautiful as the Falls themselves. Another place I highly recommend when you’re visiting Niagra, Ontario; it’s just as magnificant as see the Falls & then some. The Butterfly Observatory costs $10/person if you’d like to see it. http://www.geocities.com/Karen_Venn2003/BotanicalGardensinNiagra2.JPG
After resting up a bit & dressing up some, we went to see a great & highly recommended dinner show; the show’s called, `Oh Canada, Eh!’. Since my mom got our tickets ahead of time, we didn’t have to stand in line to get ours; 1 of the performers from the show, announced that the doors were open, then got seated to our table. After being seated, every table gets a server & it could be 1 of the performers; they 1st served us soup or salad, then started the show. As 1 of the performers was trying to tell what the main course was gonna be, she ended up giggling her way throught the menu; each item was served on separate trays, then the show continued. They then served us some desert as they continued on with the show; after the show was over, my mom got herself an Honourary `Oh Canada, Eh!’ t-shirt. We then thanked the actors for a great show & would highly recommend this show, if you want to go have some great evening fun; The dinner menu is the following: soup or salad, 2-3 kinds of fish, beef steak, chicken, ribs, potatoes, veggies & some desert.
After going to a great, fantastic dinner show, we drove slowly past the Falls to see them at night; since it would’ve costs us another $12. & it was really cool that night, we decided not to park the car & walk down. As we were driving slowly past the Falls, we were in awe of how beautiful they look at night; they turn different colours at different times & they were absolutely beautiful.
On my next post, I’ll be telling you about our last night in Canada & our flight home.

I have heard that at Niagara Falls, you’ll experience extrodinarily high negative Ions rates. The more negative ions, the better for us, since negative ions clean the air and produce good feelings. Niagara Falls is the negative ion capitol of the world and those negative ions in the air are what cause the strong positive reaction that people have for the falls and why honeymooners have such greeeeeat experiences there. :D
Yes, Frey,
It does & then some; in fact, it’s quite an indescribable feeling when you’re looking at them. They just take your breath away.
There’s more I’ll be posting tonight, then 1 other, including pics.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
On the morning of 9/27, when we were still in our hotel room on Bloor St, we checked the traffic on the Queen E to see when it would clear up enough; as soon as it did, we checked out of the hotel & headed towards the Queen E. We used many streets to get there; but once we were on the Queen E, we knew we were heading towards Niagra, Ontario & the Falls.
After ariving there early & looked for our hotel, we went to see the Falls; it costs us $12. to park our car in the Parking Lot, then my mom & I got our coats & were glad we did. We then went across the street into a building to get some touristy info about what there is to do; we then went outside, where my dad got soaked. As we were walking along the rail, my mom & I took pics of the Falls, then we walked in the park across the street from the Falls; we then went back to our hotel, got checked in & had dinner at TGI Friday’s.
The Horseshoe Falls are on the Canadian side & the American Falls are on the USA side; it starts in Lake Erie, heads down either the Horseshoe or American Falls, heads down the Niagra River & into Lake Ontario. From there, it heads towards the St Lawrence River & finally ends up in the Atlantic Ocean; it’s so poeaceful & there’s nothing in the world like it nor will be. http://www.geocities.com/Karen_Venn2003/IM000524.JPG
After we went across the street, we could hear the roar of the Falls, before seeing them; but once we did, we were in awe of how big & beautiful the Falls really are. When people say they’ve experienced something powerful after seeing them, is absolutely true; when I saw them, I had experienced something so powerful that I can still hear the thundering roar of the Falls 2 months later.
On my dad’s birthday, after having a huge breakfast, we headed towards the Falls to ride Maid in the Mist; before getting our tickets, my mom & I took some pics, then were on our way. Afterwards, we went down an elevator & down a ramp to a tent to get some ponchos, then we handed in our tickets & got onto the boat; we were on the perfect place where we could see most of the scenery & I could hold onto something while the boat was moving & we were close to the Horseshoe Falls. As the boat was moving, he told us about both the Falls & Maid in the Mist; it 1st got next to the American Falls, then right-up-close & personal with the Horseshoe Falls. It was a truly amazing site to behold; the boat then turned & we got a chance to be right next to the American Falls before it docked. After we took our ponchos off, my mom & I took some pics of both the American & Horseshoe Falls; I highly recommend this ride if you’re planning to see The Falls. In fact, I think it’s better than Journey Behind the Falls, because it gets you right-up-close & personal with the Falls.
On my next post, I’ll be telling you about the Botanical Gardens & a show called, `Oh Canada, Eh!’.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fan,
9/23, after having breakfast, we headed for ROM to explore the Museum; it took us all day to explore the place & it was in the middle of expanding while we were there. After getting our tickets, we 1st explored the Main Floor, then the Pearl Exhibit, most of the 3rd floor & a lot of the 2nd floor; there was a lot to see & I highly recommend it if you plan to visit Toronto & will take you all day to see it. When the expansion is finished, it will probably take you 2 or 3 full days to see most of ROM (Royal Ontario Museum); some of the exhibits were closed due to the expansion, but if they had been open, we’d probably not see any of the other parts of ROM.
9/24, after having breakfast, we took the Subway from Bloor to Union Station & to the NHL Hall of Fame; it’s actually part of the Underground & has everything related to hockey, not just NHL stuff. They are: Minor League, Women’s, Pee-wee (Jr), College, World, Olympic & a couple of others I can’t remember at the moment; they even have interactive stuff for anyone to try, including a booth with NHL Announcers annoucing different NHL games. Both Wayne Greksky & Mario Lemeux’s booths are there with all their stuff; they also have a huge Gift Shop called The Spirit of Hockey & has a lot of stuff relating to the sport. This is another place I highly recommend if you’re planning to visit Toronto.
9/25, after having breakfast at Over Easy, we took the subway of what we thought was gonna be Underground shopping, till we found out the shops were closed; then we headed to where more people were & thought about going to Toronto Island. We headed towards the CN Tower to see if that was a good idea; as we were up the Tower, my mom & I took lots of pics, then went to Lookout panel where my dad took some pics of me lying on it. We then went into the Gift Shop to look around & get some stuff; then we went outside & walked around till we got tired. This is another place I highly recommend going to if you’re planning a trip to Toronto; you’ll be in awe of how big Toronto & Lake Ontario really is.
If you’d like to read more about these 3 places we visited while in the city, you can go to: http://profiles.myspace.com/users/5363869, then click on ROM, NHL Hall of Fame & CN Tower.
On my next post, I’ll be telling all about The Falls of Niagra & Maid in the Mist.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
On 9/22, after checking out of Couchiching Inn, we drove back to Downtown Toronto, using highway 11; there wasn’t much to see, except to some trees & interesting things. When we got to the Downtown area, we were heading to our hotel, using many roads to get there; when we got to our hotel, we went down an alley towards the Parking garage. We tried using the elevators to get to the lobby, but each time, we were at the hospital, so we went around to get to the lobby & our hotel room. I stayed in the room till my parents came back with the luggage; the room was small, but it was ok for our touring purposes. At least it had a coffeemaker & we were right across from a grocery; there’s also a pub in the hotel called The Fox & the Fiddle.
Toronto has a great subway system & is colour-coded, so you’ll know which route to take; it takes a u-turn at Union station. It also has a map on each of the trains we were on; it took us right to the Downtown area & it cost us $5.50 each way, but was well worth it.
According to everyone we talked to, we were in the perfect spot for our touring we wanted to do; the street’s name is Bloor Street & has restaurants, cafes, shopping & is near the subway station & ROM (Royal Ontario Museum). We didn’t get a chance to explore the other side of Bloor, but we did explore a lot of it; both the Swiss Chalet & Over Easy were on the same street.
9/25, after getting off the subway, we were told that the Underground stores were closed & Eaton’s Center wouldn’t open till noon; after going up the CN Tower & walking a bit, we went into Eaton’s Center; my dad & I got some coffee & sat by a fountain & discussed whether to stay or not. I could tell the 2 of them were tired, so we decided to take the subway back to Bloor, rested up & eat at the hotel; it was just too crowded to explore Eaton’s Center.
On my next post, I’ll be telling all about the touring we did & the fun we had; they are: ROM, NHL Hall of Fame & CN Tower.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
The day after my birthday, both Joyce & Herb took us to explore Nature Wilde; 1st, we stopped at the farm to drop off a couple things. When we arrived at the Nature Wilde sign, we took pics in front of it, then took some of just the sign; then we went inside & had lunch in their cabin. After lunch, we walked on a trail, then went to another part of it & walked on aother trail; I had some help walking along the trail, but with a walking stick, I managed to walk along it. We then drove to another part of the park, where they showed us a ramp where the boats from St Georgian’s Bay go across to another lake; we had so much fun & both my mom & I took lots of pics.
Nature Wilde is a wooded area, near the town of Coldwater; it has had many owners & the 1st owner was Joyce’s father, till he passed on. Both Joyce & Herb owned the park for awhile & now has new ownership; the Nature WIlde sign used to go across the road & had a gate going across it. The sign’s now on the side of the road & still reads: Nature Wilde.
After exploring Nature Wilde, we all went back to the family-owned farm for a Thanksgiving feast; I’m very glad to have met more of my family members & got a chance to spend sometime with them. The farm’s near the town of Coldwater & they have 2 dogs & a pig name Kyle; the kids are well-behaved & helped their mom with dinner. We had turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, veggies, ham, potatoes & dessert; we then had our picture taken & pet Kyle. Kyle’s fur isn’t rough, but smooth & cute, well for a pig; I’m very glad to have met such a wonderful family & glad to be apart of it.
On my next post, I’ll be telling you about our hotel, the subway system, the street we were on & why we didn’t stay at Eaton’s Center.

The convention updates their site periodically; there’s definitely a lot more guests that are gonna be there, that you might be interested in. The web site’s still the same as above & you might want to check it from time to time; they will be having some more companions & possibly guests from the new show. There’s always lots of things to see & do, people to meet & so on.
If you’re interested, please contact me & we’ll work things out & have a Sadgeezer-type Who table.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
The day after next, which I’ll tell you about 1st, my dad’s cousin & her husband bought us ticket for the boat tour; they also gave us a tour of Orilla. Orilla, near Lake Couchiching, is a great little town with a park to walk in, shops to explore & is renovating an Opera House; the only time it probably gets a traffic jam is Winter & Summer. September is a great time to go, because it’s just after the Summertime crowds; in 1 of the shops, my mom bought a magnet to add to her collection. While we were getting a tour of the town, my mom & I took some pics; we then went to a place to get some coffee, a bite to eat & a sit down, before going on the boat tour. Afterwards, we went back to the car & went for a walk in Couchiching Park.
While we were taking a walk in the park, both my mom & I took pics, including a statue that the Native Americans are protesting & the sign; we then headed towards the boat, when my dad & Herb got our coats. As the boat tour started, my mom & I took pics of both lakes; Lake Couchiching is a nice-sized lake, but not as big as Simcoe. The boat then went under the bridge of highway 12 & entered Lake Simcoe; as many pics as I took of the lake, I don’t think I even took pics of half of it. I took more pics of the lake, even of Loons swimming, a building that A&E uses for filming (Simcoe side) & a casino (Couchiching side); after the tour, we talked about it, then went to their house.
My dad’s cousin & her husband are the nicest people I’ve ever met; they are Joyce & Herb H. & are very active & keep fit. I’m very glad to have met these very nice people & spend time with them; Joyce also lived on Venncrescent & her father owned `Nature Wilde’ (see Nature Wilde). Her & my dad were probably best of friends when they were kids, since they spent a lot of time with each other; Joyce & Herb live in a trailer park in town & have a cute dog. When we were there, they showed us old family photos, dating way back; we were having so much fun that we didn’t want to leave to pack for Toronto.
On my next post, I’ll tell you about Nature Wilde, it’s history, the family farm & a pig name Kyle.
