Read moreReview of episode 7 of The Kings Avatar quanzhi Gaoshou) – not the best episode but still great. We learn more about Yu Wenzhou and we are introduced to Qiao Yifan from the Tiny Herb guild – a new core team player in the saga.
Read moreReview of episode 6 – this show is possibly the best so far. We are introduced to two particularly interesting players, we see Sun Xiang getting a lesson and we also got to know about other guilds besides Excellent Era and Lanxi Pavilion. The best bits were in the beginning though – Terrific Battle between Blue Rain and Excellent Era
Read moreThis episode closed the mini arc on the Vampire but didn’t open any new stories which was unusual, they normally like to leave us with a cliff-hanger. The show was ok I guess, not as much fun or as interesting as the previous episodes but certainly watchable. I’m still interested to see how the whole Zalada thing pans out.
Read moreEpisode 5 Review: This episode helped us better understand the characters that are portrayed in the show and we didn’t get the same feeling that Ye Xiu was such a smug git in this one. In fact, he was much more laid back.
Read moreWe see how Ye Xiu upgrades the 1000 Machine Umbrella and how he is alienating himself from the other guilds and raiding teams in the game. Although this may well be part of his tactics. The story was well told and great to watch, the pace was just right (not too quick and not too slow).

Read moreIn this episode we are introduced to a new main character and a couple of new support roles. We also learn of the relationship between Su Muchen and Ye Xiu and how Chen Gou knows Tang Rou.
Read moreThis episode concentrated on the character Belo. It was about how difficult it is to make friends when you are a high functioning demon. This was a great episode, but I’m hoping that we can get into some proper stories next week rather than character introductions.
Read moreIn this episode of Cop Craft (called, “In the Air Tonight”) we see the end of one story arc and the start of a fascinating new one. This was a great episode mainly because of the quality of the characterisation and audio. The story was pretty damn good too!
Read moreAnother really good episode. The humour sucked-pants to be honest, but that’s the only poor part of the show. Yang Yangs is settling into his role effectively and the lovely Maggie Jiang brings a charm and fun aspect to the show that the forced comedy sketches missed out completely.
Read moreIn this week’s episode, Masato, Wise, Porta and his mother head off to a village to battle the Empress of Night. Little do they know that one of them is related to her!
Read moreSome recommendation if you are bored and looking for something easy to watch this summer. I’m not saying they are the best shows, but they are easy to watch with a beer.
Read moreThere was nothing I disliked about the show except possibly Ye Qui’s hardcore team boss attitude which was disappointing as it was too predictable – The graphics of the game were amazing and made me want to play it – the game doesn’t exist of course, it’s just a platform for the show, it still looked real though.
Read moreNowhere can we get an internet cafe like the Happy Internet Cafe, a guild with it’s own building and lodgings for it’s professional players etc. it seems (from some brit dude’s perspective) that this is a fantasy although, It’s what I dreamed would be really cool 20 years ago! I wanted my gaming to be epic and I wanted the environment to be understood and appreciated by anyone and everyone and I wanted gaming to also be a spectator sport. The Kings’s Avatar is a world with all that and more. Also, and this is really great, the graphics for the gameplay is good and the non-graphics for actors out of game is also good, This is a big budget production and it really shows.
Read moreI thought it would be good to take a break from writing reviews for a little while (a day honest)

Read moreThis weeks excellent show is called ‘Midnight Train’ and it opens with Kei back in his office at the police station, he’s checking his computer to see what it means when a Semani knight leaves their sword and goes off on their own. I wasn’t able to read much but it seems quite serious apparently.
Read moreThe direction of the show was great and the development of the lead character was wonderful. I have such a crush on Bela, who I am positive is the older sister of Cat Girl from Gegege no Kitaro! The story was really good and the shock of a supernatural villain bringing us down to earth from a teenage high school drama was terrific! Lots of fun!

Read moreThe writing and direction in the episode were very cool and the pacing was excellent. The characters still need to develop a little more, Porta, for instance, was pretty much redundant during the episode, but the voice acting particularly from Masato’s character, Haruki Ishiya was really good.

Just to be clear, it’s a joke! Nobody will actually be going to Area 51 to storm the place and release the aliens, someone just thought it would be fun to suggest it on Facebook. If you’re thinking of going, don’t, it’ll be embarrassing! Even if you wear a tin foil cap.
