what i had heard as well, september to october doesn’t seem long enough to complete the rest of the episodes, so little bird may have misunderstood my question;i will query the little bird again…we were told they were on hiatus from june to september, but according to pat’s site they were filming in england at the end of june, so maybe the rest of the filming is location and cgi? anyway, enough musing, i will clarify for you today, okay? gosh, these guys do get a lot of hiatuses don’t they?

Principal filming for LEXX ends OCT 5th!
There will be location shots in asia, particularly episodes 4.20 and 4.23, but the electropolis studio shooting ends OCT 5thMost of the work should be done in november, then there will be post production, tying up loose ends,doing all the stuff that is a mystery to most of us
Today was mamabear’s last day at salter; given the imminent end of this incredible show, she is really only a couple of weeks ‘ahead of the curve’ as she said…for those of you who are new to the lexx world, mamabear has been indispensible not only to salter and lexx, but to us here at the sadboard; she is a neat wonderful funny smart lady and we wish her well in her new projects…
so there you are folks, sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but watch it while you can because after this season ends, it’s all reruns…love fx

okay, reviewed scribbles and think i have clarification: way back when we were setting up this interview, we were having trouble finding a date where paul, lex and mamabear would all be in one place, as well as the cast and crew…the problem being that mamabear will be starting a new job, paul will be going to asia for a new project at the end of october, and the schedule is kind of rushed, especially with delays inflicted from the last couple of weeks…so oct4,5 is the last time we could be relatively certain to have almost everyone in one place…since things are starting to wind down…as to the actual end of filming, that is still unclear…but will let you know when we know, so i hope that clears up some of the confusion

hypatia is right crusader, although i know how you feel…i frequently go overseas, including visits to the country of my birth, and it is very bitter indeed to see people bitching about americans even as they receive aid from the united states…but these people are misinformed,and twisted by their own lot in life, and we cannot simply react to their bigotry or we will be simply animals screaming at each other in the streets…please don’t feel that we are picking on you crusader; we are not, we love you and your concern for us, we just do not want to throw gasoline on the flames; it would make a mockery of all those needless deaths…love fx

all seriousness aside, just spoke to mamabear who was her usual lovely brisk self, and it appears the interviews oct 4,5 with the beans are a go…the fine people at salter have also suffered setbacks due to the recent events but they are still planning to wrap up season 4 of lexx on october 5th…so think about questions, as this will be the last chance for a while to have all these awesome people in one place…love fx

thank you squishy, and all of you for showing solidarity…like thousands of other people today, i have spent the day crying and trying to reach my friends, in between sitting with my partner waiting to hear if his son was alive; today his son was in times square office instead of the world trade center; we finally heard at 1pm…i have reached some of my friends and have yet to hear from others…my father recently retired from his job in the pentagon,so my parents called me quickly…i am sorry to say my horror at the final moments of the people on those planes, and the sight of people jumping out of the trade center, and the police and firedepartment rescuers trapped by the collapse is matched only by my hatred and desire for revenge on the animals who did this…the pentagon is a military installation; obviously those airplanes and the world trade center were not…i am trying to temper my hatred with the support you here, and israel, are showing, but right now all i can think about is all these thousands of people never having a chance…let’s hope that cooler heads than mine prevail, and that all of these victims did not have time to suffer…fx
