Flame the one I am interested in is on the title shots as the music plays in s2 or s3 it shows a very young terrified kai inside the Lexx logo iris just as it starts to close.
Actually you can buy hardhats shaped like cowboy hats in Texas. They are not common, but they are not impossible to find. I think they sometimes come in colors, if not they can be painted with the right kind of paint.
All things are possible I suppose. I do not know this for a fact, but it would make sense. He has lived and worked there for forever.
Ummm, sorry no. I had a weird childhood, but I must honestly say, whatever I wanted I got eventually. When my mom and dad split up, there were money problems (no surprise there huh.) but… If we really wanted something, it almost always show up, perhaps not right away, but eventually. If my Mom didn’t get it, or my Dad couldn’t get it, my Grandmother would buy it for us. On those rare occassions when none of those came through, I bought it myself.
I had odd jobs for the neighbor ladies for as far back as I can remember… even when it was just as a seven years old. I would enterain the neighbor toddlers in their back yard so that their mother’s could get a little bit of house work done without the kids underfoot. I bought my first pool that way. It wasn’t much, 18″ high, but I wanted a pool, and had some chore money saved, and the neighbors were moving….. Needless to say, my Mom was less than thrilled to have a grass killing pool messing up the back yard.
Of course I was pretty young when my Mom explained to me the term “Realistic Expectations.” So while my childhood wants were by no means exactly modest… they were not totally out of reach. It was a joke we had between us. In fact we laughed about just days before she died. I would always say that “I never got anything that I wanted!” and she would just laugh and say “Tell me one thing you didn’t get.” You know, I really could never name one, I still can’t. It is for [b]Canadian[/b] actors. Ms. Seeburg worked in Canada, but since she was not born there or a naturlized as a Canadian citizen, I guess she isn’t eligble.
Well, I do know there are a few conventions that move around the country. But these are the HUDGE trade shows, that have a ton of publicity and state their locations years in advance. It happens, but it is pretty rare. And they are almost always set up as moving conventions from the get go.
Besides, based on the response I received as a newbie, I would say that the UnCon name will always mean Halifax for most of Lexxdom.

Aww, that’s so sweet of you to offer. Well since you are coming along on the Recon Mission to Dragon Con at the end of the month, that will be a big help. I will be leaving on Sunday afternoon, so I will not be able to check out the costume contest ect… So any help on gathering info there is appreciated. We will need to scope the place out pretty good and see if it looks doable for the 2003 UScon. And if it does we need to gather information on the people we need to contact to get the Lexx Stars invited ect…

Oh, and as a check of what is possible… When Dick Tracy first had those little wrist talky phone/camera thingies… it was such a far out idea, pure fantasy, ect…. Well they have camera’s on phones, and camera’s on watches…. and theBrother was telling me about a picture phone he had seen a promo for one that fit on your wrist and can transmit a picture. How cool is that? If you can immagine it, eventually some one will develop it.
Case in point that I cannot wait for… thin wireless TV’s that would hang on your wall like art when not being used.
Don’t worry Squish. You will see more than you can dream. My Grandmother went from candles for light to stuff she never would have even immagined, like space flight, color televisions and personal computers. (even though she never had a PC, she did like hearing about my brandy new Atari PC)
She had seen more change in her life that her Grandparents and Great Grandparents had seen together. She told me, that I would be amazed at how much stuff would change for me, since change was occurring at an ever faster rate.
She was right of course, and I can’t wait. Of course the main thing I can’t wait for right now is a robotic vacum cleaner!

If you are coming to the UsCon Recon Mission in Atlanta, to check out Dragon Con…. and you are not of legal age to drink in that state. There most certainly may be times when your little group wanders off to a bar to chat. This happens. Be prepared for it. Some places will let you stay, some won’t. Also since I would also like to lay the ground work for next year, just in case. I do suggest you dig out the Lexx T-shirts. Admittedly we will be a drop in the ocean of Treky-dom, but if we are going to be a ripple… let us be a widening one. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Well heck, that is easy enough to do. Just make sure you don’t don your leather gear before moving and locking the posts. The books were better than the Movie. As is the usual case.
The books, IMHO are going to be a children’s classic, and while I will not debate the writing merits between Potter and Nardia, I liked the Potter series story line much better.

I did, but my first attempt at editing got corrupted when I went back to put the finishing touches on it. Kinda took the heart right out of me.

Well as I understand it (and I could be mistaken) this address is for the fan club. This is not an address that will forward letters or packages. From what the web site said, if you request one nicely, send the envelope and international return coupon, her fan club will most likely send you her autograph. I have an info request into her manager for a regular Snail mail addy and will update the site when and if I get one.

But one thing I would point out, it is not that linking to images on sites you don’t own is considered *wrong* here. I am not even sure it is even mentioned anywhere in the rules.It is more that it is something that is considered wrong in general, one of those rules that ‘goes without mentioning.’ (Kind of like that general prohibition against calling people ‘just to chat’ at 8 am on a Sunday morning) That some sites tolerate it, may have more to do with loose oversight than any actual approval of the practice.[/b]
