Participantdepends Headge, what kind of files? Makes a difference, regular files and web sites can go using an ftp program. I use ws_ftp32, simple and free. Frontpage webpages have to have to be loaded using fontpage only and must have the proper extentions loaded on the server to work properly.

It does doesn’t it! My lord, it is like watching Kai channeling Rainbow Brite, I mean he already has the hairdo.
quote
Shower scenes; standard, nothing exciting; I guess I personally think that if you’ve seen Xev/Kai take their clothes off once you’ve seen it a thousand times. I feel like they are an old married couple and the thrill is gone baby. I think they should have shaved MM’s chest hair into a heart like MM in Austin Powers; Or get that “Lee Press on chest hair” like he had.
Okay people, as a board moderator, I absolutely *forbid* tearing Mandara limb from limb. I understand where you are coming from mind you. But it makes such a mess on the board and the server. And I flatly refuse to fill out anymore police reports on account of you guys!!
theFrey sighs and places her hand on Mandara shoulder, “…. Sweetie pumpkin, don’t dis the shower scene, the kai’ers and the Xev’ers, …well they had to get their fix, and I’m sure we don’t begrudge them it.” She looks around furtively, “Besides, their numbers are legion, and we *don’t * want to give them a target for their discontent that the scene wasn’t longer, or that the shower opening was pinned closed in a bad place.”

ParticipantOpps, having said that of course, I must say that any of our previous guests or cast or crew are of course welcome to attend. And who knows LexxLurker, perhaps they will see your post and decide to drop in. I know several of them, including Mr. Rolf Kanies check out our board on a regular basis, so I guess anything is possible.

ParticipantWell we will be there on that fateful night. And I look forward to seeing all of you there. But our chats are a bit over whelming on a good day, so I’m not sure what throwing any guests into the mix would be like. Most of them aren’t exactly net-crawlers like we are. And we wouldn’t exactly be focusing on them.
Anyhow, I have enjoy *meeting* all of you, and look forward to seeing you at the finial chats.
theFrey
ParticipantAll righty, Xev and Kai in bed together. Join us for chat and we will fuss at the evil beans.
theFrey
ParticipantTony did you get my post on the location of the Chat log?
theFrey
ParticipantPosting under another name is totaly discouraged amoung the normal posters. therefore, should not the moderator lead by example?
theFrey
ParticipantJust checked with one of there ops, there is no way for the average user to generate a chat log. Bummer.
theFrey
ParticipantToo too cool Flame. All you have to do is add the date and the con name and we are in like flint. As soon as you do that let me know and I will post them to the UnCon Page.
Verdy, verdy nice indeedy.
Later,
theFrey
ParticipantWell I took them down, and stuck up the 421 for Viva Lexx Vegas.

ParticipantSorry JJ, as the post was no longer there, I had no idea.
I did wonder what was bugging you about the post, since you usually don’t go off for no reason.
Thanks Aleck!

ParticipantJJ, I looked in my crystal ball and was unable to ascertain with 100% certainty that the post was a rude and patronizing response. Please let assure you that I have a very good quality crystal ball…. so, I suggest that unless you are 100 % sure of exactly what the other posters are thinking, you give them the benefit of doubt.
Trust me, it will make for a much happier board.
theFrey
ParticipantVery nice Praxilla, It was thought provoking.

Yes resin can be a bit of a pain, I find aluminite to be an easier resin-ish material to work with. Seems to be stronger than regular resin.
And in keeping with being on the Dark Side hobby wise. I have found that if you use a big enough bag you can put a support inside of it to keep the bag from sucking to your project. In this case milk crate perhaps, you can do a fairly decent hobbish job of debubbling the resin using a food Vac-U-Sealer. Not as good as a real vac-u-caster. But pretty darn good. Hummm, lots of volume here, might want use the slow hardening formual of the Aluminite.

ParticipantGosh that is tough.
We have a quite a few Salter Street People filtering though here at any given time. Also one of our older posters works for Acorn the company making the DVD’s.
We have a nice relationship with each group, so you can understand why requesting information to download their stuff is kind of frowned upon.
But I do hope one of our posters can turn you on to somewhere to pick them up at a reasonable price.

Don’t forget you will have to bake the sculpy before you can mold it. You may want to make a wire form around the styrofoam and then cut the styroam out of it, or just make a wire form approximately the right size and cover with a very fine metal screen fabric.
I would hate to think the mess you would get from out-gassing if you tried to do a ‘lost wax’ kind of bake to get the styrofoam out from under the sculpy head. And the head would have to be baked in place, the scuppy it’s self would not have the strength to hold up it’s own weight while being baked.

Hummm, what ever happen to those soft balls that says nasty things when you throw it at something?
Get one of those, ripout it’s guts to put inside of a cloth soft sculpture 790. The real fun would be if the little skwacky ball chips could be re-programed.

No, super sculpy would work better, you can work it soft and then bake it and carve detail, sand, ect… Baked scuulpy, would also let you use RTV mold material. *thefrey pauses for the chours of angels that accompanies every mention of RTV*
RTV would let you use resin or some of the pourable platics to make the shell, Plaster molds don’t work worth a flip for that material.
Vents would not be a big problem, there are enough areas that could be under cut with out being noticable.

Well I will tell you. Have you ever seen any mention of “The Fortean Society” which was founded in the ’30’s, Tiffany Thayer or Charles Fort the scientist and philosopher and how they interact with a cable TV show called Lexx on this board in all the time you have been posting here? Lexx, you know the show that was conceived in the 90’s.
You who pride yourself on your research and grasp of obscure topics and obviously went to the trouble of finding the location of their FAQ files? Please. Harsh? No dear when I get harsh there will be people running and screaming in panic, which is what happened to the last person to roll their eyes at me.

Participantummm, people. I think we are getting a little off topic here. Also if you guys want to discuss this, perhaps a private chat or list might be best. Okay?
There. All better now.
Now back on topic. Actually I was half expecting something to happen when Lexx had his little green Amazon salad. I thought perhaps that is why they made a point of showing us basicly undisturbed trees and grasses and bird watchers.
theFrey
ParticipantSo, DT. Tell me, what exactly made you think that there was the remotest possibility that the two conventions were co-joined? The twisted reasoning on that little jaunt of fancy would be of interest to me, and possibly a few others.

Oh LexxLurker. I have noticed when you get buddies in the same room, they tend to get a little silly, in fact the silliness usually escalates the longer they are together. I myself would dearly have loved to hear the back chat that Mr. Gigeroff and Mr. Donovan were doing with each other while the chat was going on. I daresay that things will be a bit more coherent when Mr. G is by himself and not clowning with one of his best pals while trying to come up with amusing answers. Well it has been speculated that perhaps Prince will keep his word to Kai and return him to life. It has also been speculated that this has already happened and Kai will not know about it until he steps in front of one of the crew to protect them from a blaster bolt. Well as far as this episode, we *know* that he has not been returned to life (space walk with no protective gear) but I wonder. The casual risks that Kai takes on a daily basis could kill him instantly. When he needs a moth and can’t get to the breeding chamber for lack of transportation, he just jumps. He space walks with no protection, he does the cutting off of body parts to prove a point ect…. If Prince does eventually return him to life. It will most likely be a very short one, since I doubt if the vindictive Prince will notify him of it when he does it. Also, thinking in a Princely way, Since Kai’s motive in becoming alive, is so that he can become permanently dead…. why should Kai care if he is notified. * Prince smiles an awful evil Princely smile *
