Well, he was always a long shot anyhow.
theBrother has suggested ways to avoid this in the future. He recommends that we have a fund raising for next year MMM Twack appearance fees by using the Kailing doll and charging a buck per staight pin.
Of course, his other idea was to have HDS walk around with a tin cup and charge an ‘appearance fee’ for posing for pictures.
Fun ideas all….. but…. perhaps… no. 😉
I would immagine, that the closer it got, the less he liked the idea. As the time prophet said…. it has happend before… it is happening now, it will surely happen again…….
Brigadoom is sunday at 10 pm. And is open to all. As participants or audience. Afterwards…. people watching at the pool bar at the hyatt I immagine. ;D

Remember, that our very own Trini Monster says that it makes no sense, for us to be there in full force, IF the DC management doesn’t see us!!! Lexxians MUST be identifiable. 😀
So get your gear on!!! Get a new Lexx shirt, make your own Lexx shirt, dig out those old UsCon shirts, or wear your cluster lizard hat. We must be visible so that next year will run much smoother! take that Buffy!! 😛

Absolved??? How so? There are many, many places that need reports, from all different views. I don’t think Elmey will let you out of it that easy. 😀
There is room for lots of different reports. The Official Lexx Fan Club could use the fresh content.
As you know, our own HDS wrote up a nice little exclusive piece for Mega Con for the Offical Fan Club site, complete with pictures. I am going to going to twist a few arms to get them a Dragon Con report, but…. I would welcome the chance to get Cat a Lexx Vegas report.
If anyone is going to Lexx Vegas and wants to do one, that would be great. Going with a camera, but not too keen on report writing? Not a problem. Several ways to approach that.
Send a few pictures and a report written as badly as you like…. I have edited theBrothers stuff, yours CANNOT be worse.

Dear Frugal, I hope I understand your question properly. How much money will the average Lexxian need to do dragon con properly?
Let us look at it.
Convention stuff in general
Shuttle from airport to downtown hotels front door…. $24.00 round trip ticket
Or Train from airport to close to downtown hotels $3.00 each way. If you are use to Trains (which many Americans are NOT) this is a good way to go. It will let you off right next door to the Hyatt. I am not sure if our hotel has a stop, I think not. But you come up the steps, go next door to the Hyatt, through their lobby/pool area and go down a few steps and across the street to the Marriott. It is close enough that even as out of shape and round as I am, I will be taking the train this year.
Autographs are 20.00 – 30.00 each, with a few of the more popular stars (michele nichols from star trek?) costing more.
Most t-shirts are between 10.00 to 25.00
Art work of course varies in price.
ALL activites except the DC guest of honor banquet (which we will be missing since we don’t care) are included in the price of the convention. With your ticket you get access to all areas of the convention for all four days. All Exibition Halls, Art Gallery, Dealers Room, Forums and Musical events/dances. Very good price. Since I didn’t buy any autographs and not much else… I spent less than 100.00 last year. But I don’t drink achol much, and mostly bought water to drink! 😀
If you have any gamers, the games are resonable priced according to theBrother.
Drinks at the hotel are expensive!!! 4.00 to 7.00 USD per drink plus tip. Heck beer was 4.50 I was told.
Don’t eat at the Hyatt!!! Food is expensive and bad!
The Friday night and Sunday night fan parties will be at bars, so no cover charge at all. All the parties will have a cash bar so you will need money for your drinks. You will also be able to order food at the Friday and Sunday Bar Parties. (if you are snacking there figure 10.00 12.00 plus your bar drinks)
Breakfast can be as cheap as you like. I spent about 5.00 to 10.00 per day. Lunch was the same.
Dinner can also be just as cheap, unless you want to go to a near by restraunt, then 12.00 to 25.00.
Atlanta has many ‘fine’ Resturants costing between 50.00 to 100.00 per person. And some higher, if you are into that kind of thing.
I am not sure about where you are from, but here hotels are taxed for any enterainment improvements a city makes. My guess is that Atlanta will be the same as Dallas, so figure 15% (my room at marriot is 145.00 per day, will cost 167.00 after taxes)

Most if not all of the cast will also be at the Saturday night party.

Some of the message boards apparently only allow a certain length in URL’s and some email boards too apparently, I have had a lot of links split as too long yet still work, this seems to be a problem of part of the link either does not show, or is not trated as part of the url even if it is on the same line!
I had to go to a place call short link which redirects you. A bit cumbersome and they only keep your redirect for a short while.

Actually, the amount of acid required to keep me from regenerating cannot be shipped with out a ton of EPA approvals. I mean we are talking major mass here. So that is a big help. 😉

I shall have to tell you in private. It is the abbreviation for his name and honorics that where worked up to keep me out of the dark murky waters of over familiarity… Unfortunately, it did not exactly work out that way. In fact the last time some one asked me to explain it, even though I did not use names, I was branded as troll in some posts on Lexx.com that were apparently so bad the Rachel cleansed them from the board almost immediately. 😀 Me, a troll, go figure. 😉
Actually Jhevz, your poll should have had the option of having one name period, not just one per board. I myself dislike have to remember that. “tammy sue”, “Ripper Gyrl” and “Scaperlove” are the same people with different names on different boards. (names were fake, used for example) No matter where in cyber land I am, I am theFrey, Sadgeezer is Sadgeezer, FX is FX ect….. Not only does it make it easier for other people to know how to interact with me, it makes it easier for me. Since they already know who I am and how I feel on certain topics. Me? I say one name for all of cyberspace.

Spamming and trollish behavior. Um, you do know about it, because you have been doing it. While their are many flavors of troll, the relentlessly annoying poster who pops up on virtually every thread and blathers nothing coherent or insightful is indeed a troll. And those posts spam the board.
But, I do suspect that you know exactly what you are doing, are impervious to hints or suggestions and that your future spam posts will have the life span of a may fly before they are deleted.
But hey, I could be wrong. Perhaps you will settle down and post here and there as your interest dictates and do so with out all the crap. Of course I could win the lottery this weekend… and frankly, I think the odds of that are better. 😀

She was using H U M O U R to make a point about the right and wrong way to annoy people. Do it right, you reap praise as a witty fun kinda guy…. do it wrong, you annoy the crap out of so many people you get your hiney banned. Or at least severely edited and selectively deleted.
Now, please don’t misunderstand, though I fear some will. You can post without following the lesson plan. However Posting annoying, spammy, no value added stuff with out humour, will get you a bad rep and…. sometimes unfortunately banned for bing a troll.
Of course if you want to post thoughtful comments of wide interest, or stuff that is insightfully clever you don’t need any lessons. 😀

Well let us see, what is new…. the cast bio and pictures have been submitted for the original attendees, so look for them to be added to the guest list some time this week.
Mr. Tackett acknowledges receipt of them, has passed them on to the webmaster and states that he will be working with the dealer
room coordinator (that would be that nice Ms. Henry) to have the two Lexx tables located next to the other media guests for maximum exposure. 🙂Trini, has some interesting ideas for the main party…. Oh, wait. You knew that huh? 😉
