Okay people, a quick UsCon Lexx Vegas recap. The date chosen was Friday May 17th thru Sunday May 19th.
Other decisions were to try to stay together in one or two hotels off the strip and that the hotels should be in the 100.00 to 150.00 range, trying to stay close to 100.00 per night.
Okay Dokay! Well at least the peeps who need to schedule vacation before the end of the year now have a date.
Xev69 said that she may have some info for us on getting group room discounts depending on how many people are going. So I guess, we need to get a count of the people who are definitely going as opposed to the ones who are going to try their best to make it. I think a simple email roll call, should do it, I will lift the names to a list on the UsCon Page. This could have an effect on the room prices, though perhaps not enough for the Hard Rock Café. I checked there regular prices tonight and for these dates they are 279.00 a night, and we ain’t talking Canadian dollars here folks. Perhaps if we get enough peeps we could get enough of a discount to afford some place like the Excalibur. Here is the link again with the hotel room info. You’re lucky you don’t. As a kiddo, I had a rod in my left thigh for five years from a motorcycle accident. I set off the darn metal detectors off every time. The worst part was when I was working in an airport hotdog shop. I’ver heard that the reason that Space (CAN) took a break, which is something that they never do, it that SciFi is contracturally permitted to air certain episodes first.
But I don’t know if SciFi has first dibs on all the rest of the new Episodes, so we may yet again be begging for episodes because SciFi decides on another stupid haitus.

I like Stan. I must admitted I hated him in season 1, but in season 2 I started to think he wasn’t horribly bad, and by the start of season 3 I thought he was great. Not perfect mind you, or drop dead beautiful, but he became most likeable. I was glad that the beans decided to let “Stan” grow as a person. And he continues to grow in season 4.[/b]

I copy them all into .jpg. I then pick a few for my VidCap site, the Kai Kaption site and New Kates Russian Episode guide site. And since she puts about 100 to 125 up per eppy, she can’t have them too large.
I have lots that never see a site. As each capture usually results in 400 to 1000 or more good captures. (and one time when everything was working *particularly good* I got about 2000 or so of the darn things) Blessed I am with an abundance season 4 VidCaps, when what I really want are copies of Lexx Story Boards. Sigh…..
Oh that reminds me. Saddy does New Kate want more VidCaps for 4.01 and 4.02? I have lots of them now. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Well I’m not sure what that con was called FX, I am just going off the discussions on the UnCon board when it was originally suggested that the UnCon move to Vegas.
